Poweramp displaying wrong song time - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I don't use the stock music player because I prefer PowerAMP. But there's a bit of an issue. When I'm scrolling through all my songs, it displays the right time, which is 5:34. But when I select it and its in the now playing screen, the time is now 7:48. Anyway I can fix it?

[Q] Whats a good mp3/video player??

The stock one has horrible sound quality. I hope it's not because of the hardware/speakers.
I feel that my old iphone 4 had better quality
I want to playback mp3/mkv/avi files
For videos, i use either mVideoPlayer or Mobo Player ( mobo only for the software decoding, when the stock one or mVideoPlayer doesn't show subs on some of my mkvs... but for this, i blame the encoder, not the app )
for now, i'm satisfied with the stock player for music (mp3 or flac) even if it only shows what it is capable of when used with headphones.
I started using MK Video Player. It plays everything. It has clean and intuitive controls as well. Swipe up and down on the left side of the screen to adjust brightness, swipe up and down on the right to adjust volume, swipe left and right to skip back and forth in the video.
for videos I use stock player
for mp3 i use TTPod and ZPlayer (which has windows 7 like interface) oNly problem with ZPlayer is there is no exit and sometimes we have to kill the process

[Q] ICS browser and flash player

Since I upgraded to ICS I have nothing but problems... the most annoying of them all is the freaking browser!
I want a normal youtube experience, like I had in the 2.3.5, where I can interract with the youtube video buttons (resolution, fullscreen, etc.).
Now when I enter youtube and start to play a video, all I see is a play button on the video, and when I press it a vimeo-like interface appears for a second, then disappears, and the video plays but I cant stop or change anything... Tapping the video like a madman, and nothing happens.
I have flash player 11 installed.
If I switch on the "request desktop site" the controls appear, but the video is square now... If i press fullscreen it will switch to fullscreen mode, but the video will overlap part of the controls (still square, not normal aspect ratio).
The hell is wrong with it? ((
EDIT: this happens when I try to watch a movie trailer (Prometheus, The Hobbit... in HD quality) on youtube. Tried another video and normal player is there... WTF is going on? :/
Try this: Prometheus - Official Full HD Trailer - Ridley Scott, .......

[Q] "Videos" stock player bug?

Hey guys quick question for you.
I download youtube videos on my computer and load them up on the GNote and watch the clips using the stock player.
Sometimes when I select the next clip I want to watch, it would play a video that I captured using the GNote. Does this happen to anybody else or is it just me? Also, is there are way to default the screen orientation to landscape?
I could use MX Player or Doubletwist, but I like the stock player because you could lock the screen. This function is vital because I hold the phone with my thumb pressing the softkeys on the bottom.
As always, thanks.
What about flipping the phone around so your thumb is resting on the top of the phone, by the carrier logo? Then you don't have to lock anything. The area is just as wide as the area used by the buttons so there is plenty to hold on to. Just keep your thumb to the left of the logo and not to the right so you don't cover up the sensors.

Problems with AOSP ROMs on my Note II

It seems like every AOSP ROM that I flash I always run into these problems.
- Choppy screen timeout fading animation, CRT animation, and auto brightness.
- Headphone audio will randomly stop working. Only way to fix this is to reboot the phone but it will happen again. Audio will usually stop after I close an app or open Google Now. This is not a problem with my headphones, I've tried multiple headphones and I get the same result.
- Bad quality album art on Google Play Music. Album art is in HD on Touchwiz ROMs.
- DSP Manager only working with Apollo and Google Play Music.
- Checkerboard artifacts on the bottom portion of the screen when scrolling through apps and opening the notification shade.
- When switching to SD in the YouTube app the quality will usually just get worse but the video looks pixelated.
- Live wallpapers aren't smooth.
If anyone has a fix for these issues please let me know.

-Turn off CRT. AB doesn't work all the time correctly. I had that issue too. Did you make sure to do a clean wipe of everything before going to an AOSP based rom?
-This happens due to notifications/other apps that use sound. Depending on what AOSP rom you are on there are a few workarounds. Or if you use PowerAmp you can mute notifications and that will fix it
-iTag might fix this
-? Depending on the ROM, flash a kernel that has audio tweaks and get something like viper or ACID. way better sound quality anyways
-Don't know
-Get OGYoutube
-Not all the wallpapers are sized properly. Pretty sure this is a cropping issue, similar to google play.

To fix the audio problem unplug your headphones, press play in the media player so sound comes out of the rear speaker, plug back in.
sound problem solution
To stop disappearing sound you have to disable the Voice Command listener in the Now Launcher. Google now - settings - voice - disable OK Google. And reboot.

Android 10, rotating screen while video playing crashes

Android 10. I run Nova Launcher. When I play a video and rotate the screen the screen goes black and locks. I unlock it and it does it again. One time it rebooted. Doesn't matter which app is playing the video.. MX Player Pro, YouTube Vanced, etc.
Any help is appreciated.
Actually music does the same.
Actually ANY rotation makes the screen go black and lock, however only video/audio causes it to reboot.
