Hi guys, yesterday i tried to put a ROM on my SGA GT-S5830c using this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1840645. I followed the steps and after finish them my cellphone was now a SGA GT-S5830i. I installed the Ace-i-Sure rom but the wi-fi wasn't great so i tried to recover my system using CWM and ClockWorkRec5830i.zip. Okay he turned back into SGA GT-S5830i. I tried to put another rom but the cellphone bricked so i unbricked it using odin. One more time he's now a GT-S5830i. I'm trying to restore to my original FW and nothing is working. Using the same guide you probably can split the firmware into three. If you can't use Odin 3.07 and put one file md5 firmware in PDA section of odin.

Hi
Thanks for the quick reply.
So do i just flash the stock rom for the uk straight to my phone using odin3 v1.85?
will it wipe everything from my phone once i do this contacts etc..
Stock rom does not wipe .
Root will be wiped if you flash stock rom after root so in your case stock followed by root .
jje
Thanks for the help guys.
I managed to get their in the end.
what did you do in the end ? I want to do the same and remove the Vodafone branded firmware off my S3 and just add stock firmware on..
Cheers
Go to samfirmware.com and flash your Rom of choice through Odin.

Fix a bootloop problem after trying to unroot.

Please help, after I rooted my Galaxy S2 (international version) with a CyanogenMod 9 Resurrection 4.0.4 ICS, I wanted to unroot it back to official 4.0.3. I've already read a few threads and have done some of them but nothing seems to work.
ps, i used odin's option PDA to root my phone, and according to the threads i just read to unroot it i have to download an official rom and use the PDA option to unroot my device. But all it did is to bootloop my phone. help please, im new at this.

This happened to me
I had the same problem when I first unrooted. Go into stock recovery after flashing the official ROM and do a factory reset.

Go to www.sammobile.com to find the firmware and flash through Odin. Make sure you don't tick repartition or use a pit file unless you know 100 % what you're doing.

Help in Removing FoXHound Mod & Revert to Stock ROM

Hi Guys
Help needed!!!
1) I rooted my Phone with Oden v 1.85
2) Installed Recovery-cwmtouch-6.0.3.1
3) Then installed FoxHound 4.1.2 XXEMA2 Jelly Bean Custom ROM on my Galaxy S3
This was all not that difficult. But can someone please help me in telling me the process to remove FoxHound and revert back to stock SAMSUNG ROM? I have already downloaded the stand alone ROM from SAM Mobile. What do I do with the CWM Touch that is installed on the phone and how do i revert to standard ROM? Would be much appreciated since i am not very good at this
Thanks beforehand

Your Phone is soft bricked.
