When somebody calls me, they don't hear the phone ring on their side (i think its called a ringback or something like that) for some reason. I hear it ring, but they can't tell if the call is being connected or not. I find this kinda of strange and not sure what the issue is. Is it a Tmobile issue or a phone issue?
I am mostly on wi-fi calling and not sure if this is what is causing the issue, but it could be. I've actually seen times where I call people and sometimes I don't here the ringing as well. Has anyone else faced an issue like this? I hope I explained the issue clearly on here, its kinda hard to explain.
Thanks.
Interesting. Ive had friends complain about this when I was on wifi calling on my S2. Im thinking its a TMo issue.
that is interesting so it could be be a T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling issue.
Thanks

This is really frustrating!
The signal on my phone shows good reception, but meanwhile the phone is off. When people call me, they get forwarded to my voice mail, although the phone never rang in the first place!
Does anyone else have this problem, and better yet... how do you fix it?
Thanks!
when you ask the same question in more then one forum all you get is
that you push out a question which may not have been answered yet
and thereby limit the posiblity of the person seeking help ever
being found by somebody who got answers
please dont! think of the children
have you checked the divert setting in the "phone" control panel, perhaps it is set to forward all calls to voicemail??
if you can make outgoing calls, then it is a call forwarding problem.
This used to happen to me also, and also happend to my friend using an mpx. We also were both on Tmobile in the states so I thought it was some network problem either on tmobiles end or PPC. However this has not happened to me since I upgraded to the 1.72 rom
Rudegar, that was an honest mistake... first time I post on here.
As for the phone problem, this happens on its own. For example, I'd have my phone on, use it, then hang up. The phone now is still on, but 'off the hook'. A while later someone would call and get forwarded to my voice mail because the phone is off... on its own. I don't know if I'm explaining this well enough but that's what's happening. I will try upgrading, but how does one do that?
Thanks!
no problem happens to the best of them or so they've told me
I have had the phone since launch and I have just started to get this problem happen 3 or 4 times a day now.
It has come to the point where I make calls on my old Nokia work phone.
Does anyone else have this problem?
It happens to me on reciveing calls or making them , the other person can not hear anything but I can hear them fine.
I am going to try and return my phone for a exchange tommorow.
i had the opposite problem, sometimes i cant hear who's calling me but they can hear me. The strange thing is that this problem disappeared when i changed my carrier from Vodafone Italy to Wind Italy.
Have an att galaxy note. Unlocked and running tmobile. Ics. Blaze tmobile.
Problem is that when i call ppl they say tgey cant hear me at all. It was working fine teill yesterday. This started this morning. Anyone else have this problem ? Im new to this phone . Is it a known issue ? Its really frustrating. Thinking of selling the phone.
Please help out guys
Same here
My wife and I just bought two new Notes on US AT&T - same issue - you can hear the person on the other end of the line, but they can't hear us. AT&T says it is a known issue, just pull the battery as the device gets stuck in headset mode (whether the green light is on or not), and this will reset it, but only temporarily.
We're also having issues with Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi signal strength.
I have a G925A AT&T version - unlocked. I've been using it on Straight Talk for the past year with no problems. Switched to T-Mobile last week and everything seems to have been going fine. However my husband has had issues where nearly every time he calls me, he hears very loud buzzing-static when I answer the phone and I just hear silence on my end. But the call always goes through when he tries a second time. We thought it was his cell phone (Huawei Honor 8) having problems but today he called me from his landline at work and he heard the exact same loud buzzing-static noise while I got silence. So it has to be something with my S6 Edge. I've searched online and am coming up empty and I can't even figure out if it must be a setting I need to change for T-Mobile or maybe my phone is going bad?

Hmm - were they able to fix it? Sounds like I'll have to go in to T-Mobile and talk to them, then. This can't go on - it's literally every other phone call and the sound is so loud my husband is afraid it's going to damage his phone.

Problem:
Me and my friend call from India to Philippines, we both have same handset, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. For 2 months until December VoIP calls never had issues then we started getting noisy calls. Like whatever we speak will start echoing a bit and keep filling into noise, other times echo will start and then call will get noisy like birds are chirping. It happens in messenger and whatsapp. It happens in Duo too but duo has noise gate so noise goes away as soon as we stop speaking.
Diagnosis
So we tried calling each other from different devices and narrowed down the problem to my friend's device. But when she took it to service center they said nothing is wrong with device, and she had no way to prove the problem because she tried calling her local friends and never had such issue.
So I would like to know if someone else has face this issue and if it is common issue with VoIP calls over long distance but I doubt it because no other devices has this issue. What can we do to prove the problem to service center to either get it repaired or replaced?
I think I posted in wrong subforum, please move to correct one.
