Is it possible to keep root yet?
Yes, I was able to keep root using OTA rootkeeper when going from v10g to v20d on my P769.

i updated and went from rooted 10G ICS to rooted V20D Jellybean using V20D P769 by Tablechair work flawless!!!!:laugh:

You update from factory V20D.kzd and then go to rooted V20D P769 by Tablechair
or just flash only the rooted V20D?

"CWM BACKUP IS ORIGINALLY CALLED NANDROID BACKUP. IF ANYONE IS ON ROOTED V10*/V20*, CAN RESTORE CWM BACKUP AND GO ON HIGHER/LOWER ROOTED BUILDS.
I HAVE TESTED THIS OK, but Results May Vary. "

There currently is no .KDZ of v20d. You root your 10X then use voodoo root.keeper to make a backup, apply the ota, then restore the root backup with voodoo.
If You flash tablechair or my cwm backup, you end up rooted.

All I did was root my v10G installed CWM did backup and restore and restored v20d p769 by tablechair that is it nothing more!!

2.2.1 can't be rooted.... You need to downgrade your firmware. Download a 2.2 ROM from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865479 and flash it via KDZ, once the 2.2 boots, you can root it and install custom recovery. Make sure you back-up your data cuz, it will wipe everythin.

Some user already flashed P760 roms on their P765, and everything worked fine.
i don't why it shouldn't work on P768. you'll never know until you try . after all, you can't brick your phone.
but before trying anything, please backup your phone using CWM if you are rooted. if you are not rooted use the Backup app from LG.
If you flash Jelly Bean rom for P769 on P768, your camera will not work...

If one were to have V10E on their P769, and it's rooted... Could they also unlock the bootloader straight from V10E (Assuming it's still possible), and then flash CWM, and then CM10.1?

The bootloader isn't unlockable in v10e.

U have too unroot before updating, but install rootkeeper before and backup root

I unrooted my device with rootkeeper, the update doesn't work.
2nd test, uninstall root script by DooMLord and tried to update but still doesn't work

How can I install KK 20d version and have root? I supose I can do that by installing CWM on JB and then flash zip but where to find zip 20d version? I am not so good at this stuff but I managed to downgrade to JB (sorry if english is bad)
Why would you even want the stock rom? Cm11 by Varcain is much more faster and stable, I don't know why are people still on stock over cm11...
