If you need the updater binary and mount point i'll have it... take the updater binry from cwm wifi fix and the mount point from initramfs source of cwm kernel... i use they for my stock rom... the standard binary does not work.

I think you can use the deodexed rom from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270103
It's for the European version of gp4.2. I tried flashing it but I ended up in a bootloop
EDIT: I formatted the /system partition and it works fine... maybe wanna try porting some roms now???
I can you give tomorrow my base rom that i used for my current Rom that i am Working on. But it is rooted deodexed and zipalgined and updater script wipes /system /data /cache /data/dalvik-cache.

is data2sd / data2ext for stock rooted xperia neo possible?
i hope someone could release something like this...
thanks...
AFAIK you can use "link2sd", you just need your phone rooted, a partition [ext(2/3/4)], and of course a FAT partitition too. There're guides over there, so, yes, it's possible in stock and rooted!
only apk files and dalvik cache are transfered using Link2sd.
What i want is the data partition are linked to sd.
like this one for arc

I didn't tell its impossible.
That required good kernel and some script tweaks I think.

hi. i found a tutorial on how to crt-off but i do not know how to "decompile" or "re-odex" or mess with my system files to that extent, and those tutorials are for deodex only, and i do not want to flash different kernels.
i only have experience with system/csc/others.xml - for the keyboard secondary icons.
so, is there an easy way to have crt-off effect for my stock odex emr2 rom?
if there is none, just say no without an attitude.
thank you.

What error is coming up? Also coming from gingerbread wipe data, dalvik, system, and dbdata (look under mounts and storage). Then install the rom and the international kernel.
some users have reported that they get an error going from GB to JB
the problem can be remedied by flashing cm9 first, then flashing a JB rom

PAC MAN ROM 4.2.2? You must flash any ICS Rom (CM9) before you flash JB rom (CM10: 4.1.x and CM10.1: 4.2.x).
Ex: Me: [GB ROM][5.0" US+INTL] Chip v1.5 Released 7/25 ------>[ROM][USA+INTL 5.0][AOKP][4.0.4] ICS-Crumble [v1.6][05 07][Last Release] ------> [ROM][4.1.2][YP-G70 YP-G1][April 30]PARANOID ANDROID v2.57.5- [April 17] ----------> [ROM][4.2.2][YP-G70][April 29]PAC-man ROM v. 22.1.0 [PA3.15 + AOKP-MR1 + CM10.1]

You do not need to do this just wipe all that like I said in mounts and storage should work. At least it did for me the 3 times I went back and forth from PAC to gb.

Dualboot is possible with dorimanx (test thread).
But you need to modify the updater-script of the second rom. (because the recovery that comes with the dorimanx kernel can't install kitkat roms. Only if you modify the updater-script)
Read and you'll succeed.

There's no guide. Dorimanx made a modified updater-script for slimsaber.
I made an updater-script for PA by comparing the modified and original one for slimsaber. Find the changes and apply those on the updater-script that comes with your 2nd rom.

I don't think someone posted that updater-script. You can always check
Making it yourself is pretty easy, if the updater-script is almost the same as the slimsaber one.

Don't get me wrong, I like helping people, but this is not the way to ask for help. I can only react when i got time, so be patient.
When you start a thread, keep the questions in the thread so other people can read it and other people can help.
"i used the updater script modified by someone for infected's cm build and it worked..
now i have 1 question?
CM has OTA updates.. do i need to change the updater script of the newly downloaded update also before flashing??
And also i didnt have to use that maliv2 downgrade zip file..do i need to use it??"
Like i said the recovery that comes with the dorimanx kernel can't flash kitkat roms.
So when updating the primariy rom, you've got 2 options.
1. Flash a kitkat compatible CWM (search for it)
2. Modify the updater-script
For updating the second rom, you only got option 2.
For dualbooting you can't use a custom rom that's got mali v2 and one that's got mali v3. They both need to be v2 or v3.
(sorry, never heard of that maliv2 downgrade zip file)

So for updating main ROM I can-
1)Install latest cwm recovery by flashing Gustavo kernel
2) then flash the updated rom
3)reflash dorimanx kernel
4) reboot and done??

The best way (in my opinion) is to change the updater-script on both roms. You only need to change it once for both roms.
But the other solution is also possible.
Please add [SOLVED] to the thread title.

The updater-script probably won't change if the Android version of the rom stays the same.
So what I meant is, that you need to change the updater-script once (one for cm and one for omni) and you can use it for the next updates too.
I hope I explained it well enough.

You extract the updater-script modify it and save it. Put this updater-script in the "rom file".zip when you flash an update.
Remember that you can brick your phone when you make the wrong modifications.

Of course it has that support... Just flash the zip file through your recovery of the boot animation you want..

Very nice. Dear i'm not noob. With directly flashed zip file it does not support the bootanimation. Then why i mentioned this thread here. the stock rom does not give the bootanimation.zip support. It supports .qmg file only at present.
Just so you know im also using a stock rom with custom boot animation and it works..
Maybe it doesn't work with the stock kernel..
I have noticed that whenever I flash a stock kernel my bootanimation doesn't show up..
