Cant tell if its blur from the camera or is that label printed at an angle?
Either way, its more important where you bought it, not its appearance. If its ebay then thats an immediate red flag.
Use h2testw.exe to test the card on windows. You probably need a card reader / phone that has usb mass storage mode.
This will tell you if its fake / faulty.
Essentially, fake cards are smaller (cheaper) but programmed to look bigger, so when you hit its true capacity, it starts over writing the older files.... hence these issues.

May be trying this check list:
Mount SD card
Format SD cad>Mount SD Card
Format SD cad in the other phone or PC>Mount SD Card
Try Stability Test V2.3 in the other phone
Try SD Tools V2.4 in the other phone
Dust inside the SD socket?
Have you tried formatting in your phone?
Could be you got unlucky, and got a faulty card reader in your phone. But also possible the sd card just needs to be formatted.
What kind of sd card is it? And is it formatted already?

It won´t Mount to the Phone, when I hit "Mount" it would keep on saying Mounting but it doesn´t... When I connect the phone (with the SDCard in it) to the PC the SDCard is not shown. However, it does if its in my friend´s phone.....
Im thinking it could be that my phone is rooted, unlike my friend´s. So I think I could take it back to its original ROM and try, if it doesnt work then take it to warranty cuz the SDcards work just fine in my other friend phone (which is the same one as mine, bought it together, same day, same company).

Yes it is formatted, did it twice in my friend´s phone. I dont think its an sd card problem, its more like a feature/option thing, which I dont get to see any solution but to flash back to stock rom the phone.

Right; I mentioned the card as a POSSIBILITY, but that another possibility is that the card READER in your phone is jacked up. Root should NOT have any affect in your phone's ability to read an sd card. I have root on my phone, and it reads my class 10 16gb sd card just fine. But it may be worth it to try flashing back to stock to see if that helps. Otherwise, your only option left after that is warranty.

The thing is that it can read a 4GB micro sd that my other friend was using before, thats why I think it has something to do with my phone not reading that specific type of SDCard for some reason. I think of going back to stock because Root is the only difference between mine and my friends phone/MicroSDCard.
I´ll let you guys know my results in case someone else finds the same problem.

Sounds like it is having difficulty reading SDHC (High Capacity) cards. I think standard SD cards can get up to 8GB, so I'm betting your 4GB card is a standard micro SD, and not an SDHC. SDHC was created for 16 and 32GB.

Ok discard software related problem:
1- Flash original ROM-Kernel and try,
2- Then discard hardware related problem(in the phone and the SD card side)
Phone side;apply an electronic spray cleaner in the socket an SD Card. Use an anti-static wrist strap
3- SD card side; use software tools i recommended before in several SD cards.
Just to let u guys know, it was a hardware problem. I had to get a new phone.
Thanks,

Hi there guys
I have been having a problem with 3 sandisk 64gb micro sd cards. I always got them replaced but it is getting frustrating now. Obviously they are formatted in exfat format.
The problem starts when I copy data of over 30 gb. Once i copy the data n the sd is remounted or the phone is restarted i always get the message "damaged sd card" but when i read the card on pc through an adapter it shows the contents ok. So i want to know if anyone can help me so that I may not need to return the card this time around...

Try to format it first in the phone, then start loading data on it.

I also tried it buddy but none of the methods seem to work .. i also tried formatting it then copying data through sd card reader as well as the phone itself... does it have to do anything with some file system issue or kernel related issue... im on stock kernel rooted...

also had the same problem. i formatted the card to fat32 with 32xxx sectors with "GUIFORMAT" app for windows, the it works ok.
then after fat conversion, you can try to format the card to exfat using any app (not the windows one) search google, then it might work, didnt try myself as fat32 works great, and i can use it with the script that makes the card the phone memory, so now i got 64gb instead of 11.6gb of phone storage

I have the class 10 64Gb Sandisk sd card too with no problems.
Card has about 55Gb info on it and I didn't format the card. Just put it into the phone. Recognised instantly and haven't looked back.
I have a 2nd SGSIII too with a 64gb class 6 sandisk sd card. Same applies but with a little less data on it.

Hey all,
Last friday i wanted to place some MP3's on the MicroSD-card in the phone, 16GB. Something went wrong (Phone shutted down) and since then the MicroSD-card isn't recognized by the phone.
If i place another MicroSD-card in the phone it works with no problems.
The MicroSD that doesn't work in the phone, does work in windows with an SD Adaptar... I formatted the card (FAT 32), won't work... Resetted my phone... won't work... I can use the card in windows normally, it writes and reads data like any other card... but my phone just won't recognize it...
Anyone has some idea?
Can you format card by insterting it into phone and then format in Storage settings?

I formatted the bad MicroSD multiple times in Windows using Minitool Partition... It says its fat32, cmd chkdsk says its fat32... I can put content on the microsd and use the content.
But the phone won't recognize it.. It's a 16gb card and if the phone does not recognize it, i can't format it... It's like he phone doesnt even know there is an microsd inserted...
A 4gb MicroSD doea work on the phone...

mayb u can try it from a friend of urs in case they have 1
I will try if i have someone with such a card... In the mean time wouldnt it be possible to make two 8GB partitions? Or 4 GBs?
If i make it an NTFS-card? Will it ask to reformat? If the phone can actually see the card... Sigh..
Try to make a ext4 partition and see if it works

Didn't work... it's like the phone has turned off the SD-Card reader when inserted with that card
It's being checked on reading errors in windows..... but so far 0..
Well... no problems found..
I checked the info of the SD-cards.. changed the serialnumber of the one not working to the one working.. i also tried to change it to change the partition ID but that does not work.. it doesnt get changed..
Try this : insert SD card, go to settings, storage, and mount SD card.

I was just gonna say, if you have cwm you can format it from there. That's actually how I fixed one of my bricked SD cards. Only cwm could format it. Partition mini tool said bad disk.
Also try this from terminal or adb:
fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk1 and see what it says.

Thanks for confirming that 64GB works with L9.
Few years back I came across a MicroMax device which is lower end simple phone without camera, but as per CATALOGUE and MANUAL, it was said it will support 2GB Memory card only. Once just to see if it works, I inserted 8GB Memory Card and voila!! It supported it without any issue. Only problem was it took longer time to start as hell lot of time was taken in reading card.
This explains why they limit the use of higher capacity memory cards, "for performance issue".
it says in the manual of the phone up to 32gb so in turn some models may not support it or may support it and give issues later down the road as my droid bionic and and a few other phones i had samsung was one of em the sd card port went disfunctional and at the end of the phones life the sd card slot was unusable what so ever any card i put in would not read so be very careful of that cause it can and cant mess up the port but that is from user expierence
Can anyone confirm using a 64 GB memory card ? Also, anyone able to install Apps to SD card ? I followed instructions and did on ADK setinstalllocation 2 but in a application called app2sd it says i might be unable to install to SD as it is emulated and shown only as a folder and not a separate device.
A side note: you MUST insert a blank card EXCEPT it's formatted in FAT32.

Correct. Lots of Android devices don't like NTFS formated microsd cards at higher capacity.

oops. Thanks for correcting me.
Maybe it was just me, but using a 64gb card caused me to constantly run into an error where the card became Read-Only. Tried so many different formattings and permission fixes to correct it but nothing worked. Popped in my old 16gb card and it worked like a charm.
SD Sanddisk Class10 Ok
Hi
I worked with SD 64 GB SD card, and work very good, but i patitioned in in 2 partitions, one vfat and 2nd in ext4, the second partition have some times troubles, then i errase this and only have vfat.
I was wondering if i could use a 64gb sd card on my ham2. I currently have a 32gb but thats a bit small for me. Thanks

I am using a 64gb and have heard 128gb work too. I use a fat 32 partition and link2sd and use external sd as main storage.
I too am using 64GB -- formatted to FAT32. If I recall, my card was pre-formatted with 2 partitions which the phone will not recognise. If you format it to NTFS, TWRP might not recognise it in recovery mode. Windows will not format such a large drive as FAT32, so you will have to use another tool -- e.g. MiniTool.
The caveat is avoid using a (cheap) USB card reader. I've corrupted the card before when transferring too much data to the card. Newer readers built into your laptop or using the USB cable directly to the phone seem okay.

^^ Same as those guys, I also am using a 64gb card. No issues! Though surprisingly it made my Xperia bug out, lol
Just be sure you get something beyond first gen (40,MBS) cards. I have had 0 issues with anything up to 64gb I now have two 128gb cards that both work but get corrupted and require a format every time I attempt to transfer 10 + Gigs of information at a time.
