Stuck in bootloader mode

My friend thought that to change from android to webos he had to press the power button and volume up to enter moboot, but he enter to the bootloader mode (big usb connection icon). I tried to power it off and combine power button and volume to see if I can get out of this and nothing. The only solution is to wait for the charge to deplete?
EDIT: It turned off by it self this thread can be close.
just so you know for the future, holding the power button along with the center button for a few seconds does a soft reset even while stuck in recovery or while booted in webos.

[Q] I seriously can't get into bootloader anymore..

Hi,
I want to change my custom rom, but for whatever reason I can't get into bootloader...
I can get into usb mode with ease... But not into bootloader.
pressing the + volume and - volume at the same time and pressing/holding the power button just makes my Titan go into a loop...
If I keep hold of both the powerbuttons but only press the powerbutton once, then the Titan just starts up.
What am I doing wrong here?
Come on guys, help me out here.
What you have to do is hold + and - volume button and shortly press power button. Do not keep pushing power button because that is what causes the continuous loop. Keep pressing the volume buttons until the bootloader screen appears and then connect you usb-cable.

Thanks, but I doesn't work for me...
If I press the power shortly, it will just start up...
It's like the volume up doesn't respond, although it does when the phone is on...
I say that because pressing the camera button and volume down does work, and gets me into USB Mode

Have no idea what went wrong with your phone. But I would try to flash HSPL again (with SPL goldcard) and if that does not work - I would try to flash stock (also with goldcard). But if the bootloader is somehow really damaged (somehow physically) - then you lose the ability to flash customs in future.
For now you are able to do it at least via goldcard.

[Q] Don't know how to hard reset

I'm trying to hard reset a GT-P7500 on Android 3.2 by turning it off and then pressing Volume Up + Power. But nothing happens... screen remains black.
What am I doing wrong?
Any alternative way to hard reset?
The tablet powers on normally when just pressing Power button.

I'm not sure if you mean to hard reset or if you're trying to go into recovery mode to access CWM?
Either way, a hard reset can be performed by holding the power key longer than the usual time to turn it on or off.
To access recovery mode, hold the power and volume down key if up didn't work. The android guy is downloading mode and the box icon is recovery. Let me know if this helps witha thanks:good:
Yes it did. Thanks so much.

[Q] About forgot password (strange

(sorry about my chinglish )
So here's how:I locked my nexus10 and forgot the password, and I do not see the "Forgotten" button on the screen and also I didn't turn USB debugging mode on, so is there any possibility I can save my data instead of cleaning them up? Thank you (btw, I deleted the original recover files(because I once booted Ubuntu Touch on it) how can I reset it anyway?) Tanks a lot
Don't think there's a way..
And you should be glad because if it was possible anyone could break into your device.
P.S.
chinglish - like!

yeah........I see, so how can I clean everything, the recovery is dead and I didn't turn the debugging mode on
Right from Google:
1.If your tablet is on, power it off.
2.Press and hold Power, Volume Up, and Volume Down at the same time for several seconds. You will see the word Start with an arrow drawn around it.
3.Press Volume Down twice, until you see the option Recovery mode.
4.Press Power to restart into Recovery mode. You should see an image of an Android with a red exclamation point.
5.While holding down Power, press Volume Up.
6.Use the Volume keys to scroll to Wipe data/factory reset and press Power to select it.
7.Scroll down to Yes - erase all user data and press Power to select it.
Note: If at any point during the above steps your tablet becomes unresponsive, you can restart it by holding down the Power button for several seconds.

The recovery has been deleted by me when I boot Ubuntu Touch on it
u cant get download mode and flash recovery? debuging must be on to do it? i dont think should be on.
Sent from my GT-I9100
Fastboot
You can use Fastboot without USB Debugging enabled.
"To use fastboot, power off, then hold down the power button and both volume buttons. That will take you to the bootloader screen where you, or the toolkit, can do fastboot commands."
I've attached a CWM Recovery image for your device.
Place it somewhere on your computer and open the Terminal application on your computer. Run the following command:
fastboot flash recovery <image location>
Then you can backup /data using advanced backup, perform a factory reset, CREATE A FULL BACKUP, then restore /data using advanced restore.

[Q] Lineage OS / screen unlock not working / can't get to TWRP

Old LG G5 I had previously installed Lineage on. Was in a drawer until I decided to charge it up and let one of my kids play games on it. When I input the correct screen lock pattern, it goes black, then comes back to lock screen.
I am able to hold power button to then select power off, restart, etc. From power off, I power on and get the orange triangle recommending to lock the bootloader. But no combination of power and vol-down or power and vol-up will get me to TWRP. It just rolls right back in to Lineage.
Also, from power off, if I plug in to my Linux laptop, it will power on and go to fastboot.
Feels like USB debug got turned off and/or trust somehow got revoked, but I never had this laptop connected to it so probably doesn't matter. But like I said, my unlock pattern is working. I get different response with correct pattern versus incorrect.
I'm also able to see the phone from my https://google.com/android/devicemanager page. I tried to send a secure and erase thinking it might let me start from scratch, but I only see a notification that "Device Located" and it never does anything.
And finally, lsusb -v does see the phone, but adb devices never does.
My question is any idea how to get back to TWRP to wipe and push an updated image or even put an updated TWRP?
Try this ...
It's like getting into Stock Recovery. To get into TWRP Recovery using button combination (hard reset) you'll need to hold volume down button and power button simultaneously, releasing power button (temporarily) once LG logo appears then quickly pressing and holding power button again, all the while maintaining hold on volume down button. The stock recovery message (white background) will appear requiring you to select volume up/down button to continue to reset software (see attached image). If you select yes it will appear to factory reset but will actually boot into TWRP.
Hope that helps!
