Hi guys,
Having a bit of a weird problem with my headphone jack - when I plug in headphones the notification light comes on, and if I listen to music with the screen off, I get loads of crackles and pops. I'm guessing this is a hardware issue (I just got this Atrix as a replacement after my digitiser failed on the last one... joy...), but does anyone know of a fix? Or just this happening to anyone else?
cheers for any help!

Has anybody connected their photon to a speaker trough the headphone jack? I tried it for the first time yesterday and when I tried using the touchscreen, there was a very noticeable lag and was hardly usable( took me about 5 tries just to unlock it ) Has anybody else encountered this problem??

No, I have connected my MoPho to my Logitech speakers and this has not occurred. I do think I have had an issue like this when it was plugged into the speakers, but only once and it was also in kickstand mode [which may have contributed]
Well I just bought my self an Galaxy SIII and I'm loving it but I'm having a little problem with the headphone jack.
I plug my phone everyday to my car stereo for music and there comes like this pop and cracking sound while I'm playing. Doesn't matter if the stereo is at high or low volume.
First I thought it was my audio equipment in my car but then I gave it a go in another car stereo with an different lead but the noise is still there so it is the phone.
Is someone else experiencing this problem or is this a faulty unit?
I tried searching for same topic here but couldn't find anything about this.

hello,
i dropped my phone into water, have since dried it off and recovered all functions.
however, the headphone jack and inverse camera have stopped working, i don't really care about the camera, but i really need the headphone jack to work.
i did a factory reset on my phone and the jack worked for about a week, then stopped. i assumed it was a hardware issue and ordered a replacement part, which i then installed, but the phone still wont play any audio. once i plug earphones in i can hear music for about half a second, which then cuts off, no matter how much i jiggle the jack or play around with the parts. i can see that the phone recognises that there are earphones in the jack, but no sound whatsoever comes through the earphones, so i'm wondering if this could possibly be a software issue...
anyway, im stumped right now, so any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!
If you suspect that it's a software issue you could add information of what software you're using in the post. What version of android are you running, which audio player are you using etc.
I got the phone on monday and everything was fine. Today i head out and wanted to try out the headphones and music comes through the speakers and not the headset. the phone hsn't been submerged in water or anything. anyone had this issue or possible fix?
thanks
Hey
So been having this problem with my Z5C, where no matter what you put in the audio jack it will play normal volume on the right side, but super quiet on the left. And this is with any AUX, headphone, earphone etc etc.
But to resolve the problem I have to pull the cord out of the phone, about 1/2mm and both sides work fine. It is only when inserted fully this problem occurs.
Which sucks because I commonly bump the cord out with it not being in fully.
Does anyone else have this problem?
