I now know i instaling wrong firmware,now i cant turn on my phone,and from PC donw see,i connect USB and dont happen anything,i have download firmware for my phone,but now i cant connect phone,because didn see it from PC,now my phone is deadly? What i can do,say me please. Whaiting for replies,thanks.

We have no clue. You did not include type of phone, what you were attempting to flash, what flash tool, or any pertinent details. Regardless, Chef Central is not the place for these types of queries and I will report the thread and request that a moderator move it to the correct spot.

I'm in the exact same situation as you! I created a thead aswell. This problem struck me today aswell, just out of the blue..
Recovery mode and download mode are two totally different things when you said you "got in" do you mean you "got in" to recovery or download mode? More details are you on stock custom rom etc
(1) Recovery mode hold volume up home and power
(2) Download mode hold volume down home and power
Try recovery mode step (1) Then factory reset if that does not work try step (2) and flash back to stock with odin.

I tried both b4..dats what i mean by got into..i tried both mode but cant enter..i've already read everything and mostly said my mobo dead..just hoping to get any help dat i can.
Shouldn't have anything to do with .dat files. Only .img

If it reboots even in download mode, its not looking good. Does it stay in download mode for long before it reboots?

Yep, this was my next suggestion. You can get them for 1 or 2 $ or £ on ebay etc. The idea is they force download mode. I have no idea if this wills top it rebooting out of Download mode, but its worth a try.

Ok..will try..will post back the updates.
Exact same situation! Bought a jig and it goes into download mode but it keeps restarting to download mode with the jig in. If i take it out when it's in download mode, then it just reboots.. Any ideas?

It sounds like it is screwed. If you have no warranty, You'll be paying a lot of money to possibly replace the motherboard.

Managed to stop the rebooting in download mode by connecting the usb cable to my desktop and successfully flash the stock rom.finally..phewww

i killed my lenovo p780 by mistake.
i was flashing a costume rom using sp flash tool and in the middle of the process i canceled it.
after the cancellation the phone wont power or boot, doesn't react to any key and only a red light appears when i connect the phone to a usb.
i tried everything, the sp flash tool and the computer don't recognize the phone or any costume driver, only unknown device appears and none process starts.
the only time when something happens is when i connect the phone when trying to flash it and then push the red button, when i do that some process starts but after a minute it gives 'enable dram failed' error.
please help me !!!

Because the flashing was stoped, your phone, more precise your preloader is messed up!
You must reflash by reinstalling the drivers. The whole process must be done again.
Look and read in Q&A Section. You will find some tutorials there!
You are not alone! There was some others who made this mistake!

Hi newbie here . I have a problem on my lenovo p780 8gb 119 rom (bootloop). I already flash it via flash tool... Now, my problem is i cant turn it on, i can only turn it on once i press and hold the power vol+ vol- and choose restart and then i can use it for a while but if i plug in the usb cable, the phone suddenly turns off and the process goes back again...
Hope you all guys out there can help me. tia
Note: i can only turn it on(recovery) with the help of usb cable/charger.
Already updated to stock rom to kitkat and still the same problem.

Hi. Let me see... You have the Lenovo P780 SPEED edition. This means that your phone after 04.2014. You need to flash your phone with the new preloader.
Look on your phone box, on the back of the box and read there.
Sooo.. Now because of this wrong preloader, your PC cannot detect your phone.
Now to reflash your phone you do all the things to prepare flash, press flash button,connect the phone, and now come the tricky part:
- open the back case of your phone and press small red button for 20 secconds. Not optional. More yes, less no.
Try this and tell me what happent.

Every time i choose firmware upgrade then click download on v5 of flash tool, the response is unrecognized rom. but in flash tool v3 error 4001 da download failed. regarding the phone box, i dont know where it is... its been a long time.. maybe they already trash it... is it possible for you to do team viewer? Can you also send me a link for the preloader?

Solved the issue
1. Go to this link 4pda . ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=399304&st=600#Spoil-55136455-3
(Of course without spaces)
Or just search on google for "4pda forum" then in the forum search for mdz 22 ab
2. You will find a tread with someone holding a mi box in hand. Enter and read the instructions, translate it because it is in russian.
3. Download usb tool and rom
4. Open box back plastic cover, inside you will see a metal cover. Remove it carefully with a tweezer. Careful not to scratch the board.
5. Install usb tool with drivers, unzip rom. Open usb tool, load rom, insert usb male in box and the other male in pc.
6. This is the tricky part. Click start, shortcircut with the tweezers the test point and the metal frame and PLUG IT
7.If done correctly it should recognize and start download.
8. If it gives an error, repeat, uninstall usb drivers, reinstall, retry. Mine worked after 20 attempts. You need patience.

Long story short is bricked.. only a red light in the back of the box, no signal to hdmi.. nothing else

Hi, I had same problem like you. I fixed it using USB Burning Tool and flash image file from: 4pda forum (I'm not allowed to post link to external site)
You can find here mdz-22-ab image as well as instructions how to get your Mibox to "worldcup mode" (you have to disassemble device first), than you will be able to flash that image and bring your bricked Mibox back to the life. URL link for USB burning tool 2.1.7.3 is not valid, so I used version 2.1.7.0 which I found somewhere.

Amlogic_USB_Burning_Tool's Config should be Erase flash - Erase normal.
If set to Erase flash - Flash all , DRM key will be deleted and amazon video/Netflix will not work,
I did it ... how do I restore the DRM key?

i have the firmware flashed ok to an external USB stick, but where are the pins to short together on the MDZ 22 AB? or, where is this "test point" im supposed to short to a "metal case? i see 3 metal covers on the board, probably with chips beneath them...do i have to remove one of these? can you send me a pic of the pins to short?
