I'm in the exact same situation as you! I created a thead aswell. This problem struck me today aswell, just out of the blue..
Recovery mode and download mode are two totally different things when you said you "got in" do you mean you "got in" to recovery or download mode? More details are you on stock custom rom etc
(1) Recovery mode hold volume up home and power
(2) Download mode hold volume down home and power
Try recovery mode step (1) Then factory reset if that does not work try step (2) and flash back to stock with odin.

I tried both b4..dats what i mean by got into..i tried both mode but cant enter..i've already read everything and mostly said my mobo dead..just hoping to get any help dat i can.
Shouldn't have anything to do with .dat files. Only .img

If it reboots even in download mode, its not looking good. Does it stay in download mode for long before it reboots?

Yep, this was my next suggestion. You can get them for 1 or 2 $ or £ on ebay etc. The idea is they force download mode. I have no idea if this wills top it rebooting out of Download mode, but its worth a try.

Exact same situation! Bought a jig and it goes into download mode but it keeps restarting to download mode with the jig in. If i take it out when it's in download mode, then it just reboots.. Any ideas?

It sounds like it is screwed. If you have no warranty, You'll be paying a lot of money to possibly replace the motherboard.

Managed to stop the rebooting in download mode by connecting the usb cable to my desktop and successfully flash the stock rom.finally..phewww

While flashing Odin stuck at zImage... I disconnected the phone from PC. Now i cant enter neither the DL mode, nor recovery... Important thing that the PC still see the phone when connected (Odin too (yellow indicates)). i9100g. Can someone help?
If the flash stalled is it possible you were flashing an incompatible firmware for your phone? I9100G has different firmware yo the I9100/T.
Anyway, my suggestion is if uoi definitely can't get into download mode then maybe try using a jig to force it. But I suspect that may also not work.
You say the PC picks up the phone when you connect it. Does that mean it boots up?

No, the phone doesnt boot. Maybe i used bad cable for flash process... because i used different kind of usb-cable (not samsung). Is there any solution without jig?

Cable shouldn't be a problem. I've used many different ones without problem. Were you flashing the correct file for your model?
Edit: just checked the link and it is for i9100G.

was using tar. in the pda section. didnt touch any checkboxes or something else
Yeah should have been fine then. Can't see why download mode won't work because you haven't touched the bootloader. Maybe try removing then re-inserting the battery, then use the 3 buttons for download mode.

already tried... no effect. while flashing Odin stucked at zImage. after 30 min waiting i switched off the cable. Odin showed red message (fail)
Well if all else fails, next step may be a jig. It can be a pain if you don't have one but check in the general section. There is a thread about users (including myself) who are willing to help people who urgently need to use a jig. There are heaps of countries listed so if your lucky you may find someone close by who will help.

OP, are you plugged directly into a USB port on the PC? Not through a keyboard pass-through, or a USB hub, or something similar? I've heard of stalled flashes because the person was not plugged directly into the PC.
The other thing, is to try a different USB cable. Faulty cables can also cause stalled flashes.

**** man! Something is not right. Flashing a kernel in download mode as pda shouldn't fully brick your phone. I've had plenty of bad flashes before but download mode always works. Other than retrying for download mode or jig, I'm out of ideas.

WHAT DOES RECOVERY HAVE TO DO WITH FLASHING???
You have other posts in this thread that imply you were able to try flashing again. If that's not the case, than I misinterpreted, and sorry I tried to troubleshoot your problem and suggest a course of action.
I'm sure you're frustrated, but that is no reason to snap at people trying to help you.

Recovery mode and Download mode are not the same. Flashing can only happen in Download mode.
I followed everything to a t. I used Odin I777UKH7-CL503881-No-Bl

can you go into download mode? to get into download mode, take out your battery and place it back in. Hold down power and volume up. you should get into DL mode.
google heimdall one click unbrick (i have never used it but it apparently works for some phones) or do this on linux.

If it was a normal software update with a firmware that was not rooted and you still have warranty left, you should bring the phone to the shop where you bought it. They will fix it.

Did you try a battery pull then turn on your phone and immediately hold the 3 (button combo vol up + home + power)? Also what caused this problem?

If Odin recognizes your phone, you should be able to flash from that Phone - /!\ - PC screen.

Are you sure you have I9100 phones, and not I9100G phones?
Check the label under your batteries.
I9100 firmwares and kernels do not work on I9100G, and vice versa.

Get into download mode and flash a stock firmware from www.sammobile.com. Make sure you have the i9100 and not I9100G model.
And make sure you know what you're doing before you do anything. It seems like you don't have a clue if you are missing up two phones.

I can't turn on s3, it's also said "Please connect with KIES for recovery", i plugged it to computer but it doesn't seem connect with my computer. Please help, thanks so much.

Make sure you put your phone in download mode, and also Samsung USB Drivers installed on your PC. Try other USB cable if it did'nt work. Redownload the firmware, maybe it is a corrupted file
If you can boot into recovery then format data and cache, that might make the phone bootable again. If that doesn't help then boot into download mode as above and flash the correct stock rom via odin.
If it won't boot into download then you have a hard brick, service centre repair required.
