My luck is very bad. I failed to flash my 9100, and now I can not turn on my phone. No matter I press on which keys, the screen keeps black. And I connect it to my computer bu it can not be detected. I have tried the Counter Reset Patch to go to downloading mode, but failed. So what should I do now? If I sent it back to Samsung Service , how much will they charge me? Or If I can fix it by myself ? Who can help me? Thanks very much..
First, your luck isn't very bad, computers don't have luck, if you've bricked your device it's because you've messed something up not because you're unlucky.
Second, what exactly did you do to flash your phone? You haven't given anywhere near enough information for anyone to help you hence the lack of replies.

As far as I know I am the first. U know under almost all conditions u can fix it by downloading mode , but now I can not enter that mode. So I am unlucky.
1 tip
Try charging the battery using another mobile or external battery charger. Then connect. By my experience usb drivers of android dont easily get damaged or lost until u ruin the rom heart and soul.

What did you actually flash? Firmware, Kernel or are you trying to Root your phone?
If you can go to Download Mode then flash Stock Firmware. To be safe, charge battery to at least 70% before flashing via Odin3 v1.85. Provide more details so it would be easier for others to help....cheers

Since the problem started after flashing, your issue seems to be a software problem than a hardware issue, perform a flash again with a stock rom via Odin, and why do you want to swap the screen with a cracked one when you might be having a perfectly good screen?
Using GT - I9100
Just hit the damn help button if I helped you.
I think it is problem with motherboard. Cause I cant flash via Odin . Seems to my pc cant recognise phone but I Can still flash custom rom via recovery. I did think about buy another phone with cracked screen but with good motherboard if my problem is related to hardware (motherboard) not software and then swap screen only with my working one.

Flashing a rom doesn't usually effect the touch hardware as we are just performing write operation on phone memory, it must be because some touch related driver's of your phone might have got corrupted, try installing a different kernel like Siyah, if you can't use PC Odin, try using Chainfire's Mobile Odin. Be careful though and don't make any more mistakes, if you mess up, your phone will definitely need a motherboard replacement.

Well flash a rom from that site then ask them why your phone is broken ..
Can you access download mode
Can you access recovery mode
If neither then you need a service centre but a JTag repair may be cheaper .

Like everything you find via searching a clue their is a thread in the General section .
It is a service device that allows a boot to restore firmware .
But as we don't know what you have broke i would get a price from a service centre .
JTag is no good if motherboard or Nand is damaged.

Hi,
I am using my phone for 4 months and last week it started to doesn't detect my phone and when it detects it isn't fast like normal. It charges all night and still %85 - %90. I bought a new USB Cable. It detects my phone well but It's still charging very slow. I used CM 10.1 and Siyah Kernel. But when it started to doing this. I just flashed a new ROM. (MIUI) Is my phone have a physical problem ? And also my computer doesn't recognise my phone or doesn't charging. Nothing do at all. I'm rooted and I'm really scared because I void the warranty. Can i do something for it ?
I tried to use Mobile ODIN. It doesn't work as well. I'm try to get back to Stock ROM and then I can give the phone to Samsung. Please HELP ME ! I STUCKED.
