Hello Everyone,
I have a question about the Samsung clipboard and its usage in different apps. I have attached screen shots of two apps. The behavior is similar on Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2
1. ColorNotepad shows the Samsung extended clipboard which I do a long press on the EditText control.
Also the default messaging app shows the Samsung clipboard too.
2. When I do the same long press on InkPad I don't seem to get that Samsung clipboard.
Both app's can be downloaded from Google Play. Any ideas on why is the behavior different on different apps ?
Thanks in advance.

Why two exact same posts ???

I would like to add the samsung active apps widget on my galaxy note 2 desktop, but I cannot find the widget,
On galaxy s2 it's there.
If I long press the home button I can get to the task manager, so I assume I can add the widget?

Click to collapse
If you're talking about the application monitor, you need to have the Samsung Apps application and then you can download it from there.
My Samsung Galaxy Exhibit is my first touch screen phone, so please bear with me. I was adjusting the apps and settings on my phone when I accidentally erased the Favorite Apps and Favorite Settings pages. I am in Easy Mode, and there are now two blank pages where they used to be. I know that I can just drag apps to the pages, but 1) the Favorite Apps box was more organized and 2) I can't seem to drag any settings to the pages. This isn't an extremely important issue, but I would still appreciate any help on this matter.
*I fixed my problem by chance; the favorites boxes are Widgets. Now I don't know how to delete this thread.*
After updating my Samsung galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 (the second, 2013-12, rollout), I had to find out that the clipboard button that used to be on the multifunction key left from Space is gone now.
An S4 has it.
Did anyone notice this too...is there any explanation?
I can think of two:
- it's a bug
- it's a political issue, a matter of differentiating between the current and ex-flagship model (similar to the numeric row new to the S4). Only this features was there in 4.1.2 and is gone now, which sucks thick noodles to me!
Thank you!
Hello all.
I bought new samsung galaxy C5000, a day i thought to lock some apps in recent tab apps (lock task manager apps) to get going those apps background working...
I searched a lot for that over internet but i didnt even get a single forum or answer.
others, i found that option is available in oppo f1s like pull down any recent app to permanantly lock that app to background work and even user touch close all apps button , the locked app will not be close.
is there any way to get that feature to samsung galaxy c5000
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone. I use the Camera app provided by Samsung, but I do not use Samsung's Gallery app. Instead, I prefer to use Google Photos. In the past, a couple of years ago or so, Google Photos had an option to show a floating button when the camera app was open. This allowed me to see images taken in Samsung Camera app, in Google Photos with a single tap. This went away, as Samsung didn't like the feature.
What I am looking for, and I can't find, is an app in which I can create a shortcut that shows as a floating button on top of a specified application.
More precisely, I imagine an app where I can say: create a shortcut to Google Photos, show the shortcut as floating button, but only when Samsung Camera app is running in the foreground.
I guess this is technically possible. Many apps (for example Velociraptor) can show floating things conditionally (ie. when Google Maps is in Navigation mode).
So, let's see if the great community at XDA has knowledge of such an application. Thank you all.
