I would like to add the samsung active apps widget on my galaxy note 2 desktop, but I cannot find the widget,
On galaxy s2 it's there.
If I long press the home button I can get to the task manager, so I assume I can add the widget?

If you're talking about the application monitor, you need to have the Samsung Apps application and then you can download it from there.

Hey Guys
I just got my galaxy tab few days ago. I feel increasingly reliant on taskmanager widget to kill the apps, but the widget is big and chunky and takes a lot of space. Is there a way to change or reduce the size of task manager widget. Help will be appreciated thanks
no chance...but u can access task manager via app tray instead of using the widget.
You can use the shortcut to launch the task manager.
Touch and hold the home button for few seconds.
you dont need to kill apps, the operating system will close everything for you.. when your not using it
thanks for the help guys
Hi all.
I just want to know something about the new multiwindow feature for our s3.
In note 2, we can open 2 apps at same time. That is, screen is divided into 2 parts for each app.
But on my s3, apps appear full screen when I launch from that Bar. It's just like launching an app and then pressing home button and launching other except that panel.
Is it normal? Or could it be because of my modding?
Please tell.
Launch an apps from the multiwindow bar and then drag another apps from the bar to the middle of your screen. The screen will split into two. Only supported for apps listed in the multiwindow bar
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
You can also move ther split pint between the two windows - drag the middle horizontal slidet up or down to resize..

you can install a mod that makes every app you have compatible with multiwindow, some still dont work though
Hello Everyone,
I have a question about the Samsung clipboard and its usage in different apps. I have attached screen shots of two apps. The behavior is similar on Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2
1. ColorNotepad shows the Samsung extended clipboard which I do a long press on the EditText control.
Also the default messaging app shows the Samsung clipboard too.
2. When I do the same long press on InkPad I don't seem to get that Samsung clipboard.
Both app's can be downloaded from Google Play. Any ideas on why is the behavior different on different apps ?
Thanks in advance.

Why two exact same posts ???

Probably a memory issue. The 9300 has only 1GB of RAM and sometimes it closes apps to be able to open other apps. Probably your S3 is killing the widget to free some memory for other programs. This happens to me to (not always) with the stock widget too.
Hello all.
I bought new samsung galaxy C5000, a day i thought to lock some apps in recent tab apps (lock task manager apps) to get going those apps background working...
I searched a lot for that over internet but i didnt even get a single forum or answer.
others, i found that option is available in oppo f1s like pull down any recent app to permanantly lock that app to background work and even user touch close all apps button , the locked app will not be close.
is there any way to get that feature to samsung galaxy c5000
