Please, help... - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have this device: 10" ANDROID 4.0 ALL WINNER A10
Was purchased ebay item here: ebay.com/itm/350682026549
SpecDevice: specdevice.com/showspec.php?id=9fbe-947d-fe11-503e0033c587
After my "playing" with root+SU+busybox, etc. I killed it.
Tried to restore it with different IMGs with PhoenixCard. Successed with (crane_bc1077-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 201211217 test-keys), but G-sensor does not working (mma7660).
Original IMG was (crane_bc1077-eng 4.0.4 IMM76D 20121030 test-keys), but I can't to find it.
How to restore G-sensor or find original IMG file?
Thanks.

Elijah Phantom U9 firmware

Guys,
I'm giving a link to the Elijah Phantom U9 firmware (Allwiner A10, 9,7'). Code name is T05A, and crane_evb-eng 4.0.3. IML74K 20120322 test-keys
I'm posting this link, since this firmware is nowhere to be found on the internet. I got it from the producer of the tablet, since I bricked mine.

I'm not going to go in detail how to reflash your firmware, since there are many already on the internet. I used LiveSuit 1.07 for mine. The procedure is after telling LiveSuit what options you want & where is the firmware, on a switched off tablet to hold down what appears to be the Volume down key and then put the USB cable in. The reflashing process takes a minute or two.

Thanks for sharing, will try it tomorrow.
Also got a bricked tablet while I had the same signatures like T05A and someting with crane.
Googled it and my tablet looks exactly like: Elijah Phantom U9
No good custom roms around?
And is there a way to get CWM installed?
Anyone with knowledge about this?
Assistance?
My modelnumber is now: MID970
Android 4.0.3
Smalband version: 0.9
Kernel: 3.0.8+ [email protected]
Not as you described, did I do anything wrong? (It's older then the T05A with smalband 1.0 and a kernel with crane_evb-eng 4.0.3. IML74K 20120322 test-keys)
P.s. I also found Visture V3 (Exactly the same looking tablet.)
P.p.s. This software is from Eken A90.

[Q] Get display drivers from one firmware to another

Hi,
i don't know if this is possible, but lot of people have problems with touch screen on our chinese Tablets Bmorn V99 with ICS with original firmware.
Screen problem is gone when Bmorn is flashed with Eken ICS firmware, but there are other things that doesn't work with Eken.
Is there any way to get two IMG files (from Bmorn and Eken), and somehow get only display drivers from Eken and repack it to Bmorn?
Best regards,
Daniel
Anyone?

[Q] "Revitalizing" a GTab inherited from a friend - need advice, please

I have gotten a Viewsonic GTab from my friend, who hasn't used it extensively lately, such that the ROM on it somewhat old (Android v. 2.3.3 CyanogenMod-7.0.3-Harmony).
Moreover, what's very bothersome is that the screen DPI seems to be incorrect, such that everything looks very fuzzy and lacks clarity.
I have started reading here about various steps to updating firmware and swapping ROMs, but some things are still very confusing. I'm coming from my experience with an HTC HD2 phone, onto which I've flashed various ROMs from XDA using MAGLDR and Clockwork Recovery Mod, but GTab requires the use of NVFlash to change things on a more global level. So I can get into Clockwork from the tablet no problem, but I have no idea if the partitions were done correctly for my present purposes. Also, I don't know how to check what the original firmware was (and my friend does not remember): whether it was 1.1 or 1.2. My guess is 1.1, but I'm not sure.
Here is what I see on the CM 7 "About tablet" screen:
Model number: GTablet
Android version: 2.3.3
Baseband version: unknown
Kernel version: 2.5.32.39-cyanogenmod [email protected] #1
CPU info: ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v7l)
Mem info (avail/total): 177 MB / 436 MB <-- does this help with determining what sort of a partition this system has?
Mod version: CyanogenMod-7.0.3-Harmony
Build number: GRI40
I'm a little lost now, but basically reading up on flashing 4.* Android ROMs. I'm guessing this tablet has a 1.1 firmware / bootloader, and I'll have to upgrade to 1.2 first... I'll have to re-partition, re-install Clockword Mod, and then proceed with flashing -- correct?
Many thanks in advance!
Just follow instructions from raywaldo.com site which gives detailed information on Gtablet ROMs.
Sent from GTablet Smoother Bean v1.5
The RayWaldo.com site was instrumental in getting the nvflash done.
I suggest you download a couple of Jelly Bean ROMs, Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs, and Honeycomb ROMs. My gTablet simply would not load anything above Honeycomb (Flashback). Others load Jelly Bean just fine. Every tablet is a little different. Start with the JB... if that bootloops, move down to ICS and on until you find a ROM your gTablet likes.
Good luck!

[Q] [HELP]S716TAB wont open.

Hi,
Recently I purchased a tablet.IEverything was going smoothly. Before 2 days I tried to install a custom ROM.I installed CWM but i got mount errors cache. So i tried to find a solution..After a bit of searching I found an img to re-flash it.Reflash was succesful the only problem is that my tablets touchscreen is a bit messed up.I touch the up left corner and the tablet clicks the bottom right corner. So i tried to find something to fix it but nothing worked.I tried to reflash with another img but live suit doesnt work even if the computer read the usb.
Now I have installed Q88+DT744B+A13_q8_4.2_20130725 this firmware but it doesnt work so good.It is designed for Galaxy tab I think.
Can someone give me the stock firmware? It's stock firmware is ICS 4.0.4
My tablets specs:
A13 Allwinners cortex A8
It is made by Serioux brand. serioux.com
As stock firmware had ICS 4.0.4
Model Name : S716TAB

[Q] Is there an actual way to upgrade Sony Tablet S 4.0.3 R5a to 4.1

I just bought a Sony Tablet S 4.0.3 R5a. I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to find an upgrade to 4.1. I have seen a few thread about upgrading, but none of them works.
The most popular one is the Condi flasher v2.2.7. I even try the version 3 and everything in between. I can only see 4.0.3 on the screen. i have added an attachment of the flasher. I installed v3 but the tab was still runnung 4.0.3 R5a
I was able to root it easily with (Sony_Tablet_S_Root_Windows).
Any help would be appreciated
