Hi guys
I really need help here. I flashed a kernel to my P500. Is it possible to "unflash" it?
Thanks

Two options,
1. Flash another kernel
2. Flash kdz
I can extract the zImage from the stock ROM. However, I'm not sure if it's going to work by replacing the zImage on an already packaged kernel. I need to know first because most of the kernels are packaged in Koush's anykernel. Will test though.
Thanks man

Didn't you make a backup? You could just restore that if you do. And why do you wan't the stock kernel? o.0

That's the stock kernel from Android 2.2. Tested and it works.

These are all CWM zips. So flash via CWM just like anything else(i.e Roms)
Thanks. By the way, do you know where I can get the Entropy kernel? I go to the forum and see a lot of links and I don't know which one to choose

The kernel can be found here
Is it a flash able rom. Or just a combination of the 3 roms individuals use. If it's flashable could I have a link. (with kernel)

It is flashable with CWM recovery. Look for it in the development section for your device. The kernel will be inside the ROM, just use 7zip to copy it out of the ROM. Make sure you flash the kernel first and then use it to flash the ROM, most ICS kernels won't be able to successfully flash a JB ROM. You should also be able to use the JB version of Lupus kernel.
I want to get the stock JB Kernel.
how can i get back to the stock kernel without flashing the stock rom via pc odin ?

I suggest you to use Philz kernel, it's a stock kernel with only busybox, root, and custom recovery included. Check the thread here.
If you just don't want all theses features and just want a non rooted kernel, you can just extract the zImage from the stock rom and flash it via mobile odin.

Get goo app off play store and update to twrp

Yes you need to update your recovery. I recommend TWRP recovery. It's very easy to use and most developers recommend it too.
Here's where you get it.

Once you install twrp make a backup. Pick your rom, flash it, then enjoy!
Kernels are for overclocking/under volting. Kernels are rom specific so research before installing one. Try the new rom you pick for a day or two to see if you even want a different one.
