FactoryROM Android Developers Presents:
Stock Galaxy S4 Firmware Build JDQ39.I545VRUAMDK
This is the Stock Verizon Firmware which comes stock with the Verizon Galaxy S4
except I ripped the heck out of it to lighten the load on our internal storage.
The following ROM Includes:
Rooted with SuperSU
DeOdexed
Build Prop Tweaks (WIFI Scan Interval Changes, etc.)
Removed all Languages Except English & Spanish (no I'm not a racist!)
Removed all Support and Tutorial Videos
Added a Few Custom Ringtones (for fun)
Removed Various Files which were linked to the Bloat and not used by system
This is only the start of a new project that I plan on pursuing. I know I have not
been active on the forums lately, but Android was starting to put a dent in my
business and I had to take care of responsibilities first.. Now that I have some
time on my hands, and a Galaxy S4 on my belt, bring on the fun!

How does this free up internal storage? I thought I internal storage was hard coded into the partition? Does this repartition?
Does this have proper mtp functionality? The S4 stock rom's MTP support was lacking... I.E. my mac didn't mount it. It see's the device.
I'm on PA atm and it also doesn't work there. I'm contemplating giving the device back, I had the same issue on my S3 and this just makes it unbearable.

Seems to work ok on my 7 machine. Wish it would default to mtp instead of installer mode, but it works, and it supports usb3 so it's nice and fast. I assume you don't dual boot?

It took me a few tries but I finally have it downloading. When you click on the link in OP try searching by device, the S4 is on like page 11. There is a list of devs for it there somewhere and mycomputerdoctor is the one at the bottom. Click on the link for his rom and wait, it should come up eventually.
Got it. Link seems to be dead to get the ROM.

How do you install this?
Can you just flash it with Odin? Or do you need to have LOKI recovery installed?
Also can you got back to original stock after installing?
Thanks

I should have been more clear. What I meant was the zip file on your internal sd card prior to flash is smaller. I dont have and extended Micro SD card yet so my Space once I do a backup is very limited.

This might sound stupid, but I was having issues myself using a USB cable other than the one that they gave new in the box. My only thoughts are, being that its USB 3.0, some of the cheaper knock off USB cables I have, must not be able to send enough power for the device.

Just download another stock and dump the APKs you want into the /system/apps/ directory.
BTW, I don't know what happened after I went to bed but the download links seem to be fine now, sorry for any issues.
I've never created a rom install with Aroma, but would it be difficult to set up an installer to permit the selection of certain items some may not consider "bloat"? I can always backup all the system apps, and then restore whatever I want, but it may make things a bit easier. Thanks for this btw, downloading now!

Hello N7105 owners,
DISCLAIMER:
By reading this post, downloading any of the links, or acting on it in anyway you accept full responsibility for the outcome. I strongly suggest you do not download this ROM but that's just my opinion.
What this is:
This is EE's (UK operator)(formally Orange & T-Mobile) stock ROM for the GT-N7105 or Galaxy Note 2 LTE International - N7105XXXALIJ
Stock Kernel
Rooted
Busybox
Fully deodexed
Zip aligned
Some bloatware removed. (Light version)
What you would need:
Custom recovery (CWM) <-- See other threads for the how-to I might post a link later.
What you would do:
Download .zip
While waiting... it's big (sorry) ... do a nandroid <-- Google it.
Put .zip onto external SD Card (internal would be fine too but I think if you full wiped it'd get deleted and your panties would twist)
Flash .zip
Wait... remember it's big (sorry)
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Reboot
Enjoy
What else you would want to do:
Flash a different Kernel - there's only one floating around for now.
Use a storage data swap - two options
Use performance scripts, see around there are lots and they'll work best with a different kernel with init.d support - there is a thread with an how-to for getting support with any kernel/ROM and I tried it but failed. I didn't try hard.
Wipe Data - this shouldn't be necessary as your phone will already be on a stock ROM.
What I would like you to do:
Make themes and I'll link them in post 2
Tell me what default apps you want back or what taken away.
Post links to other stock ROMs you'd like made more convenient (that's all this is btw because it's no different than rooting etc yourself after the fact).
Talk about N7105 development - we all want proper Dev support and built from source roms.
What I don't want you to do:
Expect anything from me.
Flash this thinking it's something special, or that I'm a dev, or think that this is counts as actual development.

Tbh until there's been some discussion about what should be in and what should be out the light version is not recommended. There's literally too many apps and too many Samsung goodies to know whats right to remove.
The once we agree on the best minimum apps for a base, I'll just use that for updates and the other apps can come in a range flashable packages.
For now the recommended way to debloat is just use titanium backup.

Those few who have downloaded the Light version, how is it? Did it boot? I remove anything that needs putting back in? Is there anything still there you would consider bloat?
Is the bloated version deodexed, zip aligned etc?
Yes. The only difference is a number of system apps are removed in the light version.

Great, trying it now. I want to see if the Multiwindow mod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953705) will work with this. If so it would be great to start having it cooked into later roms. Will feedback later.

Support 7105 rom
Should have ALJ4 uploaded tomorrow.
Edit:
Dang the re branding broke s note. Can't fix until tomorrow. Probably just need to push a different s note app (has someone optimised that awful app yet?)
It's uploading anyway if it doesn't fail I'll post link but flashing it without at least removing the s note app will result in infinite FCs. It's otherwise untested.

Thanks to beanstown106 for the deodexed base, saved me a couple steps http://rootzwiki.com/topic/37445-romtwrp-stock-root-deodexed-insecure-kernel-vraljb/
Thanks to AdamOutler for the bootloader unlock
First ROM release in over 2 years! This is just a basic deodexed rom (for now). I wanted a debloated rom, and couldnt really find one with the stock feel, so I threw one together. There is still some work to be done on the debloat, and also some features that I want to add to this rom. Pretty much, this was built for me personally, just figure I would release and let everyone else enjoy it!
The big mod that I have already included has been ExtSd2InternalSd found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234
This swaps your internal and external sd cards, so your sd card functions just as you would expect if you've used any android phone pre-ICS. The requirement is that your sd card is exfat formatted.
I will release two versions, one with ExtSd2InternalSd and one without it. Let me know what yall think and have fun with it! This is going to be such a great device!
Just to be safe, I ALWAYS RECOMMEND FACTORY WIPE BEFORE INSTALLING ANY ROM!
12-21-12 - Ive been doing some testing with the perseus kernel found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2048013 I think the dev changed some mount points in the ram disk, because the script i have been using for extsd2internalsd stopped working. I made some changes to it, and seems to be working as expected. I will package it up and upload it tonight. Might build my own kernel this weekend to fix the mount point changes back to normal.

This sounds like a really cool ROM build, stock yet tweaked to make it custom enough. I look forward to what else you are going to do to it and the fact you built in the Ext.SD card as primary storage. Given the limited space on the GN2 its a must for it.
One question re: debloat part, not sure what you have removed yet so could you update the OP to reflect that and perhaps post some of the .apk files in case we want to add certain one back.
Thanks for the work you are doing.
Just noticed that we need to format the ext.SD card in exFat and not Fat32. I will have to reformat first then.

Possibly. I have a few things I want to add this, but have not had a lot of time to totally dig into this. I might try to keep this as close to stock as possible, there will be other roms that will have those features too, but time will tell.
When it comes down to it, I may just make an update.zip for the extsd stuff that should work on any tw rom
Cool, stock works for me as well. Less stuff that risks being broken but having it as an extra add on you can install makes it a bit easier than trying to tweak it manually.
Thank you!
This is just what I need. 300mb available free space
How do I revert to the standard version if somehow I don't like the Extsd2internalsd version?

Can exfat be formatted on the phone or do you have to do it with windows machine? I don't remember it being an option on any format I have done.
These files are RESTOREABLE in safestrap recovery. These are Stock Rooted Mj5 RESTORE as backup DO NOT FLASH...about 25 people have asked me for these, and successfully restored their system after either deleting their stock slot rom accidently or had some issue with their stock rom.
Instructions:
1. Download all files in folder, should be 5 files total
2. Put all 5 files in one folder
3. Place folder with the files in your safestrap backups folder
4. Boot into SafeStrap Recovery
5. RESTORE the file just like you would any other backup
6. Reboot
Link:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3T9bHro9RUvWWtNZmQ1OHhsN0U&usp=sharing
After a weird issue with the files, the owner name is switched...which doesnt matter...what does is if they still work. Please let me know if there is something wrong with the files, or likewise, please verify whoever downloads them if they work alright still. If there's any issue i'll have to try and figure something out, or reupload the entire restore build which takes several hours. Thanks Mega
***After done successfully you will reboot to the setup screen like day one when you first purchased the note.
****I recommend to do this first in a rom slot, to be sure your download was successful. Just my 2 cents and what I have recommended to everyone i've sent the files to. If you have any isses, or questions either pm me or leave a post and i'll get back to you.
**Please do not use my files for anything other than your personal use without asking permission
***Please do not repost my links without asking permission

No dude read the op.... you put them all in 1 folder then RESTORE.... read the op dude they're a custom backup of stock rooted mj5..... I specifically said DI NOT FLASH
The link is back live after a weird google drive glitch...anyway remember these are RESTORE files for safestrap
Stock Rooted Mj5 ...see the op for instructions on how to restore your Note 3 att N900a back to stock rooted...or just use them in a rom slot for testing mods, tweaks or other alterations before messing with a rom you have fully set up...I suggest using a rom slot to test the restore anyway if you plan on restoring to stock rom slot.
***Edit: as updated in the op...the files owner status has changed, which makes no difference but if they still work perfectly as they did prior to this does matter. Please let me know when you download the files whether I need to reupload the original restore build or if everythings in working order. Much appreciated.

Exactly..it's a stock rooted mj5 restore kit. You can use it In stock...but I'd highly recommend you try in a rom slot first to verify your download and everything's working. Then wipe and restore like any other backup. It shouldn't have issues as like 60 people have used it to restore their stock slot but I always play it safe myself.

So does this mean that all international ROMs should work with our device? Pretty sure the hardware is identical (although I might be wrong - correct me if I am) so I see no reason why they wouldn't. Would love some insight from someone with more knowledge, however.

Are you on that rom? I read all the pages and it looks promising. Wanna hear some feedback from T-Mo users

Thank you.
I installed AllianceROM from the international forum and it worked fine on my T-Mobile phone. Somebody else flashed Omega ROM and that worked too.

Yes I am currently running the Omega v1.3 rom
I am running it and it works Absolutely perfectly! If anyone is also having a problem with Shealth working after installing Xposed it seems to fix it. Just a few warning thought that I thought I would post.
1) After flashing it will flash all your internal storage - Backup everything first, Also I would move the zip to an external Sdcard before flashing.
2) Even if you select no wipe in aroma while upgrading, it still seems to wipe everything including your internal storage.

I apologize I just thought that people would look under the rom section instead of the general for working roms. I also thought that maybe a dev or master chef might want to use it for their roms Again I apologize and thank you for moving it to the correct section.

No worries, not the end of the world[emoji6]
For future reference, if you ported it it could go in development, just a cool find like this would go here[emoji106]

Sweeet! I ran a few Int'l Roms on my Note 3 also. I edited the updater script so that it wouldn't format the internal storage.

Yeah, I was thinking about trying to get permissions of a few international roms to try and alter the upater script and edit a few things to make them more compatible with the us roms.
There are several INT'L ROMs that work great with TMO USA S5.
Just look Here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development
No need to "port"
Just flash it!
I'm assuming that WIFI calling does NOT work with this ROM, correct?

Wifi calling is a tmobile specific addition, so won't be included in international roms.

I have flashed EVERY ROM that has been posted on the International S5 threads and they all work with the TMOBILE S5
Alliance Rom is phenomenal - Omega is great - so is Echo - The only thing yoiu have to get used to is that you lose WiFi calling. I am using a TMOBILE S5 on the ATT network so it doesn't matter to me anyway - ATT doesn't support WiFi calling - but to be honest, the benefits of flahsing these roms far outweighs the benefits of Wifi Calling. (IMHO anyway)
NO special steps are needed - EXCEPT - when you flash an International ROM be prepared - they do usually wipe the Internal SD card. So make a back up of the important files (like Titanium Backup for example)
while we wait for TMO development to get underway - at least you have a few very good roms you can play with.
Good luck and happy flashing!
Hey guys, just posted the first (very basic) version of my project infinity Rom in the development forum. It is based on the t mobile framework, not international, so has WiFi calling etc. I plan to update it quite a bit. Also, it doesn't wipe the SD card upon install.

Any plans to get flash working?
I am downloading the ROM, so far it looks good and I did not want to lose the wi-fi calling options so I've held off on the other ROMs so far.

Updated with Odex and Deodex versions
@BeansTown106 seems like he may be busy on something else, so I figured I'd help out and create a flashable zip of the Stock odex rom for G900TUVU1BNG3.
This should be pretty identical to what Beans provides for us normally.
It's Stock with the following mods:
Rooted
BusyBox
Init.d support
Knox-Free
Carrier-IQ Free
Removed Tether Provisioning checks (version 1.2)
Read/Write to external storage
Working Art
Working Private Mode
Bootloader and Modem tars can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52210611&postcount=4&nocache=1&z=1439293276052922 thanks to @edgarf28
Rom Download Version 1.3:
Odex: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567723255
MD5: 5c31657a869a7cda285d933622636b1a
Deodex: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567723256
MD5: dc37cbdba2de9652b1269ff8633833c4
The only issues I've had so far is that I was prompted to update the su binary. Not a real problem, I likely just put the wrong binary in there (older version).
Let me know if it works for you, or any problems. It's running on my phone now and seems fine.
Tethering
Works fine as of version 1.2
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for a bricked device, only flash on T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T)
Thanks to:
Chainfire - for superSu
BeansTown - for previous roms to copy changes from
Changelog:
1.3 - fix external sd read/write
- update super su didn't work
1.2 - fixed tether provisioning check (removed it)
1.1 - removed need to install tether patch
1.0 - first attempt
Thanks for this good job
Thanks mate! But download link also links to my bootloader/modem post :silly:
Awesome ya I'm at the beach and wouldn't have been able to get to it til monday

Ha Ha, thanks, Must have had a goofed copy/paste. Explains why the md5 was originally a link to your post as well.
Updated and the download link should work now..

Can someone running this confirm that the tethering provisions are removed?
I just checked, and I get a force close :crying:
I must have left something out from the provisioning. I'll look into it and update if I find anything.
If you flash a rom with items stored in private mode will they be deleted?

I've just updated the 1st post with a zip you can flash if you need tethering and are not concerned with provisioning. I was getting a force close on settings when I tried to tether, this zip will fix that at least.
Uploading a new version now with the tethering fix included. Still has provisioning check, but at least it won't force close.
Also uploaded deodexed version for those that like that sort of thing. OP will be updated once the uploads are complete.
Sorry for the inconvenience and the small fib about the tethering provision. I tried..:silly:
Maybe we just have to wait for the master to return @BeansTown106
This should at least hold us over till he gets back. It's fully functional and fast, if I do say so myself.

Downloaded 1.1 to computer twice and tried to copy over to phone but will not copy. Looks like the file is corrupted. Sorry. I will install 1.0 and the tethering fix.
@DevVorteX any chance you could give us a hand in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2832384

Maybe a bad upload, I tried my local copy and it work.
I figured out the tethering provision thing too, so I may just upload that version instead. It'll take a bit to get ready though
4 times downloading this, and I can't flash it in recovery. I keep getting an error that it failed to open the zip file. Any help? I'm using TWRP and made sure I flashed the bootloader and modem first.
I too, get failed every time almost immediately

for right now, use this one, then the tether patch in the OP http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567721569
I'm uploading 1.1 again after I re-packed it. I'll update the link later, when it's done.
Op updated with repacked zip for odex. I'm still trying to get framework to recompile to remove tether provision.
