Alright so my current issue is very strange. I was trying to install cm10.1 on my HTC One X+ ATT and I got it on there yet it has some issues. Those issues in particular being that it reboots every few minutes, and I cannot get it to mount as a mass storage device. If someone can help me with either of those issues that would be great, but I would rather just flash back to stock if possible. My boot loader is currently unlocked and I don't think I even have a rom on here anymore. Any and all help is appreciated, I really need to get this fixed!
1. Download stock rom or any rom onto phone and computer
2. Extract boot.img
3. Boot into fastboot and flash the boot.img
4. Boot into recovery and...
- wipe data/factory reset
...then flash the rom.zip
5. Reboot.

The issues on the rom will only be fixed by the dev. These are known bugs.

I tried to get in Downloading mode and install Lite'ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3, it went though, but after reboot I got into ClockworkMode Recovery again
Hmmmm, this is very weird, if you can get into download mode, you should try flashing a stock rom, and not Lightening Rom....
Thnx, I got it fixed. I am coming from Samsaung Captivatre and button there are diiferent combination as navigation vise. Stupid me.
Someone help me please!
I had a Flyer running HC 3.2.1, Hboot 1.11.0011. Then i unlock it via HTCdev, install recovery v6.0.1.1 HC and root with superuser 3.1.3 but i didn't s-off because i dont know how to s-off 1.11.00.11 Hboot.
Yesterday i installed Nexus flyer v1.2. My Flyer still ran very good but not have 3G. Then i downgrade it to DextersJB but when i finished it my tablet had boot loop. I had already wipe cache/factory, wipe data and flash boot.img (i used boot-htckeys.img). I tried to do that again but my tablet still have boot loop.
Can someone help me? Thank you very much!
(sorry because english is not my first language)
So are you booted into DextersJB now? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2164891
Since you've been bouncing around in different threads and also PMs, I'm completely confused about where you are at, whether you have bothered to try my suggestions, etc.

What do you mean "i used boot-htckeys.img" ? The only boot.img you should be using is the one you extract from the zip file for the ROM you downloaded. YOu can't use a boot.img from somewhere else. This may be your issue.
The process should be:
Download ROM to your PC
Extract boot.img from the ROM Zip file
Move the entire zip file to your SD card
Boot Clockworkmod (CWM)
Factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe Dalvik in CWM
Flash ROM using CWM
Reboot into hboot, connect to PC and select fastboot
Flash boot.img using fastboot
Reboot
same trouble, but broke recovery
Hi redpoint, I saw ur advice to a guy with a similar issue. I stuffed up installing dexters rom by not flashing the boot image, however I cannot get back in to cwm recovery, first of all I got a bootloop, then I tried to re-flash my cwm recovery.img, but now i just get htc logo, so no boot, no recovery. How do i get cwm recovery back?! i only have access to the hoot menus, so only able to flash via fastboot. I think i need the correct recovery img for cwm? any advice is much appreciated.
Tried flashing SR KK Rom.. Was on AOKP 4.4.4 but was super buggy.
Flashed without issue, but stuck in red verizon bootup screen. I skipped flashing via ODIN the 4.3 firmware. I resorted back to stored TWRP backup, all good and usable.
To try and fix, i changed from TWRP to Philz per recommendation int he thread. Then reflashed. No go still. Tried to go back to TWRP backup, but Philz doesnt like it, and now i cant get to my phone via USB to reinstall TWRP.
I have AOKP still on my phnoe, so tried to reflash, but no dice.
I'm stuck with an unusable phone, and it looks like NO way to fix it.
I can access phone and flash via ODIN. But, i can not see phone via USB (in order to copy over ZIPs). I can mount my external SD, but then when i unmount, data goes away.
So screwed - need help so bad.
Rom that started it all:

Okay, used ADB push to get TWRP to the phone. That worked... Restored backup, but because of flashing the 4.3 firmware, lost root per TWRP
However, when i boot now, it just sits at "Samsung Galaxy Note II" screen. Doesnt go any further. EFf me.
EDIT: I see why.. backup restore failed. arghhhhhhhhhhhh
I cant flash anything. Everything fails.
Bump
Stop trying to restore backups and wipe everything in twrp and then flash a clean a rom of your choice.

No need to bump your thread. We have small, but talented group of ppl that can help you but bumping because of no response instantly isn't good taste.
Hi
I have a Moto E 2nd Gen X1524. It was running twrp recovery and cyanogenmod (5.1). I've only owned it a few days and this is the first time I've really played around with android.
It was running fine until I rebooted it just now. It boots into bootloader and I had to re-flash twrp recovery so I can get into recovery but it can't mount the internal storage or something. I can't wipe the phone using it or anything like that.
So basically I can get into fastboot, recovery loads up but fails. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this fixed?
Thanks!

Did you flash the right recovery?

What cyanogenmod build was you running and what kernel?
I've just unlocked the bootload and flashed TWRP on to my moto G4 plus and went to flash magisk after to get root. After i flashed it I rebooted my phone but it wouldn't boot into the system and wouldn't even show the boot animation. I tried to use the Stock recovery I made after putting TWRP on my phone but it kept on saying error 255. This lead me to sideload lineage OS onto the phone which work. However when I tried to boot into android it did the same thing again. I have a feeling that something is wrong with the /boot partition as when i go to recover using my stock img there is only a system box.
Any help is appreciated
Welcome to XDA,
and did you try reflashing stock firmware?
That will always work.
Hello there. I'm having a major issue with flashing magisk right now. So all was fine. Then today, I flashed OxygenOS open beta 19 on my OnePlus 5T. I then tried flashing Magisk. What's really weird is it boots, but as soon as it does, I get a split second of enter pin, before my phone just says shutting down before it does just that. I've tried the uninstaller then reinstalling it with no luck. I'd really like to stay rooted without wiping data, but I can live without root. Does anyone know how I could fix this problem? Thanks so much in advance.
