This is sort of driving me crazy. I am getting the purple notification light blinking when the screen is off, but I have cleared all notifications.
Anyone else get this? I don't want to turn the notification light off, I simply want it to work when it should.
Thanks!
You have a notification you haven't check. Could be email, fb, calendar, anything at this point. That's why I use lightflow

I would love this feature... if I could get it to work. Voice commands are definitely enabled, as I can command it to "stop" but it won't register "snooze". Any advice? I've tried altering my cadence, no luck.
That would defeat the purpose of getting up and turning it off.
You are really supoose to out the alarm clock far away from you so when it rings, you have to get up to turn it off.

I don't know how to reply without sounding snarky, but that wasn't very helpful. I asked about a function of my phone not working, not life advice.
For the record though, I use math problems on alarm clock extreme for waking up every morning, and the stock clock for setting various other alarms.

Same problem here. I THOUGHT somewhere along the line that I saw a check box for "Allow snooze command", but I can't find it again.
HAHA! There's so many menus...
OK. I have the same problem. Only "stop" would work.
I just went in and turned on snooze in the alarm, click "More", and it's in there. Thanks for the reminder!
Maybe that's the fix. OP, was yours on already?

Fixed it for me! And Leyvatron, the guy wasn't asking for advice on how to get up. Jesus.
ACK. I knew it was around somewhere. Thanks.
How do I get this damn purple LED to stop blinking all the time? I tried all my messaging apps, email, play store, everything and I can't get it to stop.
Help Please
Have you tried settings/display/led indicator?

Yes....I tried everything I can think of and no luck.
Do you have lightflow or any other LED enhancing program installed?
Also do you have email accounts syncing, even if set not to notify. I had the stock email app with one account. It was not set to display notifications, but I still had the blinking light.

First Off: What ROM are you running?
STOCK image from VZW?
Rooted?
Unlocked Bootloader?
Custom ROM??
If you are running a Custom ROM, which one and did you tweak it ?
If you start by answering these it will be a lot easier for us to help you out.
Hello everyone,
Okey when I had my Nexus and used the Lightflow app, and a certain notification popped up in the notification bar (that notification was setup in Lightflow with a blinking LED) with screen on it would also blink.
On my note2, if my screen is on and I get that notification, it doesn't blink. I have no idea why.
Anybody familiar with Lightflow? Any ideas how I can make Lightflow blink with screen on?

Have you checked out Lightflows settings to make sure that you have that checked? Also that may only be a option in the paid version of Lightflow. Im not very familiar with it but it should under settings I would think.
Edit:
Just treated it for myself and it works perfectly on the free version. Click on the app in you app drawer, click settings, enable root mode, enable Samsung mode, then set your apps up.
I tested it on a low battery and it wouldn't quit flashing or give me a notification to turn it off like it does with email and other apps so I had to set it to go off after one minute for the low battery warning. I think the only reason it didn't have a pop ip was because the battery was already at 9%. The light stayed on the entire time the screen was on also.

No problem, its a bit annoying when it wouldnt show the notification for the battery so you may have that problem in the future or it may just be cause I tested it with a low battery.

Unfortunately it's not, it's something else and it's not an icon in the manual.

It isn't GPS, it's for e911. And it can't be turned off if the OP is curious.

The symbol stands for:Location E911: Indicates Global Positioning Service (GPS)
for 911 is set to On for emergency calls only

Is there a way to suppress this icon from displaying while leaving the e911 service active? I was able to do so on my samsung droid charge (2 phones ago) and would like to do the same with my new S4.

Prism would NOT approve.
I just reinstalled JB 1.8 and I seem to have a white line across the top of my screen that I never had before. Seems to be associated with pull down. Any ideas?

Thank you it must have been the battery bar. I had hidden selected, but had to change the height to 0 to get it to go away.
Always someone confused by the battery bar....
