Dear all
I have a Hisense T92 acquired in China. Now back in UK I would like to flash it to a rom which doesn't have chinese characters in half the apps on it and will work here.
But there seems to be very little information about this device out there (in English anyway).
The 'About phone' page says:
Model: HS-T92
Android version: 2.2.2
Baseband version: TTD_CP_01.06.053_P8:TTD_TVRTD_MSA_1.08.046_P2
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
Build version: T-92-eng 2.2.2 FRG83G eng.202011127.195056
Hardware version: V2.00
Software version: T536.6.01.03.00
Release date: Tue Dec 27 20:03:24 CST 2011
It has a 4" screen and I believe a Marvell 800mhz processor and 512 Mb + 512 Mb of ram (whatever that means).
I have managed to get the USB driver for it, and it is rooted (I ran unlockroot which reported it was rooted already, but I rooted it again for good measure).
One thing which seems unusual about this phone is it has an extendable antenna like for FM radio, but I didn't find an app in it which seems to use it.
Suggestions?
Thanks
Richard
Hisense T92
Hey richardmh
I recently bought the same kind of phone although I would say that it has applications that work well with the aerial. I have an application called mobile TV that works with the aerial. However I have noted that once this application is on the internet too is. Therefore I don't whether it is provided online or not. I had problems, I still have problems with connecting it to my laptop, I guess it's the usb driver thing that I don't seem to get. Is it possible you can tell me where to get it?
All in all I would think the best thing is to totally format the phone and reinstall the software again, is it what you are calling "flashing?". If you are successful please post the steps you used so that you can help me too. And you never know, if you install a radio or tv application that needs the aerial, it might actually work. By the way I initially thought it was a light pen since typing on this phone is not an easy thing to do.
Thanks
Kimlotte

I didn't try the tv apps, do they work with digital tv? We don't have analogue in UK any more.
The USB driver I found on a Chinese website (with help from Google translate) I can't remember where, but it is attached to this post. If it is too big or something tell me and I can make alternative arrangements for you to get it. It worked for me, but I guess the usual cautions about downloading anything from China apply....
I agree, best thing is to wipe the phone and start again. However.... I have done this to other phones but I am not an android expert and have always followed exact instructions I found somewhere online and it worked.... But if you don't know what you are doing it appears it is quite easy to convert your nice phone into a useless brick.
Trouble is - I didn't find any instructions how to do it to this phone yet. If you find something, please let me know.
Regards
Richard

Hi,
I have a MID tablet E600. Android 4.04. CPU MT6575. Kernal version 3.0.13. Baseband version MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V18. Build number ALPS.ICS.MP.V2.2
I have rooted the device and would like to have it boot when power is connected.
Examples of other threads for differing devices that this has been a success: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1187631 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815131&page=7
I'm a total noob, but I've managed to root it and have Rom Toolbox light installed so i can go through and browse the root files.
I'm struggling to find the code which puts the device into charge mode when power connected (while turned off), which I'm hoping to change to cause the device to boot instead.
Help would be very much appreciated! and I would be willing to write a guide for people with a similar device to achieve this.
Why I need to do this you ask? the tablet is installed in a car and the power button unreachable.
Hello guys.
I have a problem here.
I have Replica of Samsung Galaxy S4 (china made).
The spesification is :
BB Chip --- MT6577
MS Board --- magcomm77_cu_ics2
Kernel Ver. --- 3.0.13 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC( ) #1 SMP PREEMPT
Android Ver --- 4.0.4
SW Ver --- ALPS.ICS2.MP.V1.5
Custom Build Verno --- Galaxy.20130531.Q.V008
The divices has ROOTED by my self using SRS One Click Root :good:
Bootloop started when i edited the framework-res.apk
I pulled out from devices using QtADB.But i cant push it back to the device again,so i forced push via sd-card using room toolbox.I copied from sd-card,then paste into the system/framework,then the bad things happened
The problem is,this device hasn't have RECOVERY,CWM,FASTBOOT.
It only has DOWNLOAD mode (icon with lying broken android),but there is no list of option (instal zip from internal, wipe data, advanced, etc. There is only logo without option.
I tried flashing using ODIN,but USB IS NOT RECOGNIZED.
I've tried followed this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943442 but still not work, and still bootloop.
So,anyone can help me solving this problem??

Hi,
Can you reflash the ROM without wipe?
All your data and settings will remain intact, but you will put back the original system files.

Sadly,no i cant.
The only option in device is "erase all emmc/format".
But if you tell me how to do it,i will try it.
The problem is,when i turnin into DOWNLOAD MODE,the USB NOT RECOGNIZED.
But when i turn it on,the pc's detected my device as Alcatel
Many tools cant detect the device, such as Android Recovery Manager,Android AIO Flasher,QtADB,Droid Explorer,Flash Tool.
Strange, the version info tell if device MT6577.But my pc's has detected as Alcatel.
Also,i get problem when installed/setting the MT6577 drivers for my pc's (Win 7 32bit).
same issue

Hi xda community,
since yesterday the smartphone is unable to boot.
When it starts, it just keeps displaying the Phicomm logo, not even getting to the boot animation.
The recovery menu is inaccessable, so does anyone know how I can reflash the stock ROM?
If you might find it useful, here are some technical informations taken from the website:
Manufacturer: Shanghai Feixun Communication Co. Ltd.
Brand: Phicomm
Model: FWS 710 Pro
OS: Android 4.0.4
CPU: Qualcomm MSM7227A 1GHz
Memory RAM: 512MB + ROM: 512MB
MicroSD car slot up to 32GB
There are a few more on the english Phicomm website located here under the "Specifications" tab.
I tried to resolve this problem with the help of search engines, but did not find anything related to this specific model.
Then I found the [AIO]Universal Android Flasher, connected the phone via USB cable, started the program and clicked some buttons, which resulted in the message:
Code:
ERROR: Device not found
A quick search suggested to download the adb USB driver, which also couldn't find the device.
Please help me with this. I can't find any valuable information on recovering this smartphone without a recovery menu.
Bump.
Is there really no way of getting the phone back to life?
What about opening it up and establishing a serial connection?
Hello guys,
I have a KJ902 Action Tablet with ATM7029 here non branded.. no further infrmation about it.
Now it is stuck in a bootloop and I can't get out of it.
Already did:
Entered recovery menu, reset to factory settings, erased cache and media memory
If anybody know which firmware I can use to reinstall it, that would be awesome
Thanks!
EDIT
So for the people who have the same chinese/ non-brand tablet device this is what I could find out
It suddenly booted again after I started it into the recovery mode by holding down volume+ (or - dont know anymore) and connected it to the usb / power button on
After that I wiped every single cache memory and did the factory reset. After a few more tries, it booted
The USB Driver now shows the correct model it says KingTop KJ902
In Device Info in the Menu of the tablet there is
Model number : KJ902
Android Version: 4.1.1
Kernel Version: 3.4.0+ [email protected] #12
Build number: full_gs702a-userdebug 4.1.1 JRO03C eng.liuzhi.20130929.180504 test-keys
Thats all
