HOT! will definitely flash this if it is compatible..
Do you have the link to the bootanimation.zip for this. Splash is the static screen before the animation
Edit: nevermind I found it. Yes it runs on our phones, however the image is kinda small (uses about 1/3 of the screen right in the middle) and would need to be resized to look right.
Great post a link if we get this set up. Anyone care to pm me the process of changing the bootscreen?

i keep on getting a yellowish line above the actual animation....is it just me?
it did the same on mine, I believe it is because the animation images are wrong resolution for our phones they are 256x256 instead of 480x800

The performance is definitely better with this version on the Atrix. I've attached a modded library that will allow you to view Hulu and other desktop-only sites. Unzip, push to phone, copy to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/libflashplayer.so. Use Dolphin HD, set user agent to Desktop, Plugins to Always. Enjoy.
Thanks pal

so did you rename the mod file to what the stock file is named? I tried that and it told me I didn't have Flash installed so I went back to regular 10.2.

I posted a modified libflashplayer.so in the Galaxy Tab->Apps/Themes forum a while back. It's not 10.2, but it should be the latest non-tegra2 flash. Search for "hulu flash" and it should come up.

Sorry, I should have put a bit more detail into my post.
1. Install the 10.2 Flash version from the OP.
2. Once you download the attachment and unzip it, you'll have a libflashplayer_tegra_mod.so file. The stock file is named libflashplayer.so. You can either rename it on your PC and then adb push it to your phone, or push it as is and rename it while in an adb shell. Either way, just make sure it's named libflashplayer.so and gets copied to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib.

I'm pretty much a noob myself, but RootTools app has an option to choose a few diff boot anims. Not sure about shutdowns.
Read read and read. That's how I learned. You need to be rooted, use root explorer (an app) and just push it. Meaning of push, its cut/copy and paste.

Most all of them you flash in clockworkmod.
There is a lot of them in the bible
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991267
tru dat! you got 2 options:
- Flash in CwMRecovery
or
- Push bootanimation.zip into /system/media
Like a kernel or modem, bootanimations do not really require a flash at 100% battery or clearing of settings in CwMRecovery if you choose to flash it. Some bootanimations are not flashable and require you to push them into /system/media. Always read the OP will generally explain if it is flashable or not.
***I highly recommend you push it yourself. Its not hard at all and will allow you to be more familiar with your file system***
- just find the "bootanimation.zip" that you want
- move it to ur phone
tip* i've found i like to archive all bootanimations on my PC for future reference do so or skip this next step
- browse to /system/media/bootanimation.zip(this is your original) copy it to archive
- browse to where you put the bootanimation.zip you want and select "move"
- browse to /system/media/ and select paste
- select replace
- reboot phone and voila! now you have ur new bootanimation and you feel more comfortable moving system files around. Aren't you smart ur mom would be proud. Good luck!

check my post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1019858
its on shutdown animations.
for boot animations.
its the same method
but the bootanimation is just in the "system/media" folder...called "bootanimation.zip"
It can be taken from any ROM from the "system/media" folder and placed in your "system/media" folder on your phone and your done.
This will make more sense after you read my forementioned post.

Not sure which one you are trying to get on your phone.. Some animations need to be flashed through recovery.

Changing icons of Android apps

I have seen many users willing to change the icons of their android applications. For the willing users I have got small tutorial on how to change icons of any android applications.
Note:
This may not work in all application but as I've tried, it has worked for all of them.
Please use copy of your application in case of need of original apk files.
None of the files attached here like belongs to me.
I am not responsible for any unusable apk if messed up with.
Requirements:
1.Any android application(.apk) (you want to change icon of)
2.Icons file or any icons editing software (must be of resolution 36 X 36)
3.PC with windows
4.Sign APK
5.Your Android device or virtual machine to install
Steps:
1. Grab any android application (using applications like App Backup and restore or Titanium Backup) and send it to PC.
2. Right click that android application and navigate to open with option.
3. Select Winrar or Winzip.
4. Navigate it to "ApplicationName.apk\res\drawable-ldpi" folder.(There might be multiple icons in other folders too follow the same process to make it done.)
5. You can see file with name icon(.png).
6. Drag your own icon file of size 36 X 36 and drop it and replace if prompted (save) close your Winrar.
7. Now extract Auto-Sign.rar file to desired location and copy your apk (with changed icon ) to Auto-Sign\Auto-Sign folder (or read README.txt)
8. Run file sign (.bat)
9. Now you can install the apk manually by sending it to your SD Card.
For making you sure it really works I've changed icons of QQ player to VLC media player which is attached below.
BTW QQ player is the player almost like VLC it plays almost every video of any type.
Download are in order as listed below
1) Auto-sign Created By Dave Da illest 1
Optionals
2) QQ player with changed icon of vlc:
3) QQ Player by tencent original:

Flash all your apps at one time (makes life so much easier)

Here is a .zip where you can flash all your apps in one fell swoop.
This is not my work but something Silesh made for me. I don't think he will mind me sharing it.
I use it all the time and it saves me tons of time not having to install my apps manually.
All you need is WinZip
Just put all your apk files into the data/app folder
and flash away.
What I do is flash the rom and fully boot it first,
then I go back into recovery and flash this .zip.
Boom, all my apps installed. Very nice!
I put just one apk in there. Clean Brower, just so it will work and I can post it here.
Another trick is, using Root Explorer on you phone, just copy your data/app folder from your rom
Then replace that app folder in this .zip and all your apps will be in there.
The advantage to doing this is even when you update or add new apps your apps from the playstore or other, the updated apks will end up in this flashable .zip.
Just make sure when using WinZip when you "add files" and add the app folder you drag it into the data folder. (first delete the app folder that is already in there.)
Again all credit goes to Silesh
Just thought I'd share this.
..
Thanks :good:
Nice to have. Thanks for sharing.
Very good!
Thanks for you. It really works.
Please, can you show, how I can use your zip for another devices? May be for I9000?

It should work on other devices the same.
It flashes all your apps to data/app folder which is used on any Android device.
Obviously not for windows or apple.

Yes thanks.
I have a couple other apps that create flashable zips
But none work as good as the script Silesh has made.
One has an aroma installer but it also has alot of bugs.
Copying my data/app folder into Silesh's .zip works flawless for me.

Aroma Installer
Here is an apk that basically does the same thing.
You can use it to backup and reflash all your apks in recovery at the same time.
This one uses an aroma installer which is nice because you can check or uncheck only the apps you want to install.
It will also do system apps.
Not my work. Had this kicking around from a older phone.
Seems to work fine on the Mega.
Just sharing.
