I recently purchased a 2013 Prius. When streaming music via bluetooth to my car, I do not get my album art and track information on my car's display. My understanding is that this is because the Evo 4G LTE does not support AVRCP 1.3.
First question: Is there a way to get my Evo 4G LTE to support AVRCP 1.3 without rooting?
Second question: If the answer to the first question is no, are there current ROM's for the Evo 4G LTE that support AVRCP 1.3? If so, which ones do?
Thanks in advance for your help.
No, there is no real way to get 1.3 with rooting and installing a custom rom.
Most jb roms have 1.3 support, but it'll be quite a difference between ics and jb.

Is possible to install standard Android 2.1 into HTC Hero?
of course, there are several roms here
he says android 2.1 based... the rom of google nexus one!!!
in that case he just would have to look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=617736
I have a Sprint CDMA based HTC Hero. My fear is that these 2.1 ROMs are GSM based and will not work with my CDMA based Hero. Is there a 2.1 (or 2.0 - or even a 1.6) based ROM for a Sprint CDMA based HTC Hero? Also, where would I get the original 1.5 ROM to flash back to if I need to?
Although I like the SenseUI the HTC Audio Manager (AKA Music) is killing me because it steals Bluetooth's AVRCP controls from all other media players. I'd be willing to flash to a pure Android ROM - but for my Sprint CDMA based HTC Hero.

If you look in the CDMA Hero sub-forum, you will find your answers.
soo, I sold my atrix (again....) and buy motorola photon
what I discovery....motorola photon have an option for radio fm....wtf??!
all hardware from photon is similar to atrix (even camera with new software)
so, what I will do, I will try found pointer on kernel to the package...for I can see the framework off the radio
Radio FM is into MUSIC app
if you do u will be dnate by many person.
I know if you flash a photon ROM onto an atrix, you can boot up and get working HDMI mirroring; you just get no data or camera. i wonder if you can get the FM Radio working as well that way?
if that's the case, then we know that Moto just crippled our phones so they could release a better one in the future
I need buy another atrix again to try this

Hi developers, I was wondering if anyone has the skill and free time to port this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308993
to the GSM evo 3d. i am aware that there are gsm roms with beats already incorporated however my phone came with a newer ruu (1.22.707.2)and crypt0`s rom is the only rom supported. i know this is possible because people have already started porting CDMA roms to GSM. Thanks in advance
Dear ppl
I have just purchased a pair of marshall minor headphones just wondering which rom is the best for sound, tried roms with beats but currently using shooter beats but using power amp, any views please, gsm roms
OLYMPUS Titan HD ODEXed V2!!
nice features and loudest i have found
Infected eternity 1.4.2. With chads older kernels....if u can find it.
sent from America....F__k yeah!
Eternity isnt GSM afaik, especially not 1.4.2
Is Olympus GSM too? I know it is CDMA.
Best bet would be Joelz's Warm 3.5 ROM. Just use SVN to pull revision r116 and compile that. Later revisions dont sound as nice. This ROM is both CDMA and GSM compatible and sounds 2nd best of all ROMs, 2nd only to Eternity 1.4.2 + Beats fix v2. However that combo is not available on GSM so 2nd best will have to do.
Also, loudest doesnt mean best.
Only you will be able to tell what works best for your device and your ears.
A search would have told you best rom threads are closed on sight.

I tried WiFi direct, it worked great to transfer. It supported in API 14 or higher. From what I understand, most 3.6 roms are on API 15.

It's in sense 4, just wonder if possible to back port it?

It might but its dam difficult and features like that have files, libs and lines of code deep in framework and its a lot of work. There are some sense 4 roms available for this device.
sorry
Yes, seem to always be compromises. To bad there probably won't ever update this to sense 4 officially.
