Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but I couldn't find anything this general.
Anyways, is it possible to use an unlocked CDMA phone on Verizon? Do unlocked CDMA phones even really exist?
Please and thank you guys!

Hello, first my apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but I looked around for awhile and couldn't find a specific US Cellular sub forum. I've done quite a bit of searching and have seen conflicting reports that this S3 was not compatible with the GSM network on T-Mobile and I've also seen that this phone was compatible on both CDMA and GSM once unlocked. Does anyone know if the US Cellular S3 can be used with T-Mobile somehow?
Anyone else know kinda a noob here. just wondering if the Sprint version of the Galaxy Note 3 is compatible with AT&T. if it is what do i need to do. whether it needs to be unlock or not. ???help???

The answer to the OP question is NO. ATT is GSM carrier, Sprint is CDMA. There is no current "unlock" to allow the international GSM portion to work on USA networks.
Sorry.
OK so after one 2 many beers I purchased a sm-n900p off EBay on sprint. I am based in UK and we use GSM. Only just realised the handset is CDMA. Am I now stuck with a useless phone or is there anyway I can flash it or do anything for my O2 sim card to work on it?
smilar problem

There is currently no way to unlock the phone for international SIM without being a Sprint customer and having the phone activated on an account.
more info needed

can you explain more regarding having sprint customer?
from a lot of forum threads i'm getting Bias information:
so, It is possible to use GSM international but nobody can do that unless Sprint authorize person do something to the phone or account?
so Unlocked version doesn't exit? or what Unlocked mean on SM-N900P?

the phone can only be unlocked for International SIM cards by Sprint, and for this to be able to be done, the phone has to be activated on a Sprint account. this is the ONLY unlock method currently available for this particular Note 3 model (Sprint variant, SM-N900P)
Hey guys. I'm giving my unlocked T-Mobile S5 to my buddy on Verizon. Is there anything that flat out won't work with Verizon or will be problematic?
Also, is there a way to remove the T-Mobile bloatware and either make it Verizon branded?
Thanks guys!

I'm not sure if the TMO variant will work on Verizon's network at all. Does Verizon allow for unlocked phones on their network? Do these variants have the same band support? Will a GSM phone work on a CDMA network?
