Sometimes when I receive a call, I'll answer it and it will play the person's recording of their name and say "press 1 to accept or 2 to..." What's going on? Never had this happen on any other phone... I'm completely stock. Thanks.
Do you use Google Voice? That sounds like your calls might be going through GV. Just a thought.

I didn't think of that... But... I only use it for voicemail and it has never happened in my other phones. I don't use google voice for calls.
Hmm. Well maybe when you set up voicemail, somehow it also set to have your calls go through GV? I might would double check the settings just to make sure. I know one time I had a similar issue and checked the settings and saw it was set that way. I don't know why... as I didn't purposely set it that way... so I apparently did something on accident.

I have been getting an "all circuits are busy" message while trying to access my voicemail *86 today. An incoming call gets the same message when trying to leave a voicemail.
Anyone else have/had this issue? I've only had GV setup for 3 days and its been great so far.
Thanks

Sounds like its not set up properly. *86 is not used for gv, but rather the market app. Also you need to forward your missed calls by dialing *71<your Google voice number>(send)

Well, I dialed *71 & Google Voice # then the same using *90 and *92 and its still doing the same thing. Weird because it was working.

I was having the same issues last night. People calling me said that they were getting "all circuits busy" and "number not in service" while trying to leave me voicemail. I haven't changed my GV setup since I set it up months ago.
I haven't had any calls today yet, so I don't know if it's fixed or not.
Update: Just had a call go to voicemail and it worked just fine. There was a GV update yesterday in the market; I wonder if Google was having trouble with that...?

so was roaming on Verizon just now and the conversation sounded great. Normally, there is really bad echoing and I have to wait for the other person to stop talking, or just interrupt them, like we're talking on a walkie talkie radio or something. Basically, when I make a call, only one person can talk at a time. I can't even answer with a yes no or ok without confusing the other person on a call. Is this because I'm using google voice? Or is this just normal sprint network? Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Don't know the answer, but maybe a little simple trouble shooting.
You said that you are using Google Voice. Try using it without it.
If that fixes the problem, then try Google Voice with a wifi connection.
Most likely your GV is not having enough Sprint bandwidth to complete the call.
Good luck!
hmmm...ive had this issue with one or two of the previous roms i was running. if ur rooted, try flashing a new rom or see if there are fixes in the corresponding thread! hope this helps!
Well, I mean I'm calling regularly, but I have g voice integrated...im not trying to use g voice. Should I disable it altogether? Question is, when u integrate g voice, does it use g voice exclusively?

Anybody else having weird problems when dialing through Google voice, it shows as dialing some weird number instead of actual recepient number, it connects fine though but both while dialing and in call log it shows as some random number.
Mine does the same thing. When I call it shows some weird number in the voice notification. But connects to the number i called.
Only difference is mine shows shows the right number while in the call and in the call log.

Google Voice has always done this for me on my Droid X. On the DX it would be a white popup over the dialer saying it was connecting to some odd number. Sometimes it would be the same number in succession but it seems to change every now and again. It was never in the same area code as my VZW number.
Honestly, I don't know if I've made an out going call on my S3 yet! My GV number rings through to my office phone, the S3, and Google Talk/sipdroid (for IP phone goodness on the retired DX).
I have noticed that I've been able to txt someone from GV and the conversation picks up in the stock messaging app. I'm on VZW and this was NOT the case with the DX. It wouldn't pick up a reply to GV txt in stock messaging. I don't know about initiating the msg from the stock app though. I'll have to test that.

You know I'm not sure what my old Inc does. I'll have to see if it has that weird number as well.
And as for receiving them in the stock messaging app as opposed to the voice app there is a setting in the voice app under "sync and notification" to change between the two. I've never used it through the stock messaging app so have no idea about it.

I read somewhere that it has something to do with (at least in ATTs case) that they don't include the gvoice api. Might be the same for Verizon.
Hopefully some talented dev. will be able to make a simple CWM fix for this annoying problem.
I didn't really care for the screen that shows up after a call ends. I used the app On Call End to go to home screen. Now there isn't that pause where you can go to the contact or send a message.

Not sure if anyone finds that annoying, but I did, so I tried this (had used on my rezound).
Thought it was worth mentioning.
I'll give it a shot. I missed that setting from other roms

Different question, about the same relative thing. Does anyone know how to get rid of the CALL REJECTION MESSAGE pull down banner ? I hate that stupid thing and sometimes hit it by accident. If I don't answer a call, usually folks know I'll see the missed call and call or text them when I get a chance, so thats a useless thing to me. Thank you for any help

I haven't come across this being brought up before, and I certainly don't want to repeat thread topics, but is anyone else not able to forward calls through the Call menu in Settings? The option is greyed out.
I first noticed this when trying to get Google Talk set up for my voicemail, when the app was unable to adjust forwarding settings. Ultimately, I had to call T-Mobile so they could send missed calls to my GV number. The CSR couldn't figure out why he could access that setting but I couldn't, so he suggested I try a master reset, but I'm not ready to do something like that right now.

I'm on pure stock, and the call forwarding options work on my phone. That is I can get to the settings, I didn't try and forward calls.

On stock rooted 1.27.531.7 and I have the same problem. Will not let me set it to G Voice through the normal means. This worked on the factory software just fine.
Do this: dial **004*<number-forward-to>#
Ex: **004*15556667777#
Then call it.
The code wouldn't work for me, giving me a similar error as when I tried to set it up through GV.
