[RECOVERY] CWM 6.0.3.2 Touch for HTC Desire V - HTC Desire V

This a new version of CWM Touch Recovery 6.0.3.2 for HTC Desire V. I build it with http://builder.clockworkmod.com, and modded after that to reintegrate offmode_charging. Enjoy.
Image rebuilded and re-uploaded: maxrecovery6.img
And I did update tomcatz666 zip for hboot flashing: 6032-PL11IMG.zip. To use it delete numbers and dash from name and, as tomcatz666 said, copy it on your sdcard and reboot in bootloader.

I forgat to tell you that in Clockworkmod 6 touch (doesn't matter what version), if it is compiled with that site, USB Mass Storage doesn't work. You can search the forum and you'll see many people asking why in 6 doesn't work, but in 5 was working. I don't know, but I read somewhere that someone managed to build a 6.0.3.2 non-touch version (for a samsung phone I think) from source and his build worked.
Please be polite and hit the thanks button if you use these.

Update 1:
CWM Non-Touch Recovery 6.0.2.8 for HTC Desire V
Compiled from source by myself, full functional - including USB Mass Storage mount.

Update 2:
CWM Non-Touch Recovery 6.0.1.2 for HTC Desire V
Also compiled from source by myself, full functional - including USB Mass Storage mount. Differences between versions are less visible, take the one you want.

Here is the PL11IMG.zip File which has integrated this recovery ... this file is prepared to use with your modded ROM ....
I have tested with your ROM flashed over my HTC Asia India build Device ...
With this File you can flash the recovery without using a PC - just put it into the Root Directory of your SDCard and boot into recovery
than follow the steps on the screen
It works - I have tested it

[Q] Clockwork Recovery image on HTC Magic doesn't work

Hey guys,
I'd like to use the ROM Manager and as we know therefore I need a Clockwork recovery image. My recovery menu works fine when I flash back the cm-recovery-1.4.img, but when I put on any of the last four Clockwork Recovery images (2.5.0.1, 2.5.0.0, 2.0.2.4, 2.0.2.0) it doesn't work. The Vodafone Splash screen just keeps showing and nothing happens after that
Here is what I did:
1) Attempted to install the recovery images directly via the ROM Manager
2) Attempted to install the recovery images via the terminal by typing
flash_image recovery /sdcard/clockwork-2.5.0.1.img
3) Also tried to install it several times in a row before attempting the boot into recovery via the terminal. Also changed back and forth between the CyanogenMod recovery and the clockwork one via the terminal before testing, but to no avail (read somewhere that this might help)
Here are my device specifications:
Rooted
Kernel-Version: 2.6.34-cyanogenmod
Mod-Version: CyanogenMod-5.0.8-DS
Device: SAPPHIRE UNKNOWN 32B SHIP S-ON G (Vodafone branded Magic)
SPL: HBOOT-1.33.0007 (SAPP10000)
Radio: 2.22.19.26I
I am sure there is a simple solution, which I simply don't know anything about
Thanks a lot,
Sandro
Im having the exact same problem! I can't boot into recovery after updating to clockwork recovery any ideas how to fix it?
I know, this thread is kinda old, but if the clockwork app asks you for your device just choose Ion instead of HTC magic! Tadaa works
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Pre-Rooted CUSTOM ROM FOR SPICE MI-535 STELLAR PINNACLE PRO

Dear users of Stellar Pinnacle Pro-Spice Mi-535,
I am presenting below a stock based sd card flash-able pre rooed custom firmware for Spice-mi 535 mt6589 phone.
It has all the stock features and all are functioning. It is purely a stock based one
Already the CWM recovery.img is available for this phone or else you can google it and find from this thread. I have tested this ROM many times before the release as I had a bitter experience of bricking this same phone and recovered the same which took nearly about a month period..
If any one wants I can try to port the SPFT flash-able version which is more that 1.5 GB. Time being I am providing the sd card flash-able CWM recovery based Custom version.
The url is :https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6mi3aQy8tz9al9QSnlhSmZXVnc/edit?usp=sharing
In case if you want flash the recovery either through Moble uncle tool or through SPFT means I am providing below in single 535.7z folder three files
1. The CWM recovery .img
2. The Boot.img
3. The "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc_.txt"
How to install:
A. If you have already a rooted phone with CWM installed
- copy the sustom rom file " MYSPIZ-535", that you have just down loaded to your external sdcard slect and flash it.
If you have not rooted then tick usb debugging in your phone and open the 535 rooter provided here and double click the run.bat, you are rooted.
I have provided a sd card flash-able CWM 5.5.0.4 recovery file also in case if want it to use it.
Enjoy.
I have already tried 4.3 and 4.2.2 version of other phones Camera is the main problems in these attempts. I shall port when I mod it to function..

My problem is that no matter what I try right after the HTC logo screen I always get kicked into 4ext, unless I boot bootloader but I cant do anything to stop booting up 4ext. Figured I'd change recoveries with your zip and see what happens if I use Twrp maybe? Please email me if u have a couple minutes I am really stuck and adamant on trying to fix it without a computer. [Recovery] [Moto X] [XT1060] ClockworkMod Recovery Touch

This is ClockworkMod Touch Recovery
Nothing special from me as all the credit goes to Koush and his nice wonderful web tool found here. You can build your own touch recovery by going to the following site and selecting your device: http://builder.clockworkmod.com
I just built this because I'm a fan of good ol trusty CWM Touch.
This version I am linking now is 6.0.4.8 and is for the Moto X XT1060

[SOLVED] [P769] Unlock and remove mirror issue

Hi, I a have a T-Mobile P769 and my issue pertains to unlocking and achieveing a non-inverted (non-mirrored) recovery.
Here is what I have done so far:
1. Unlocking
Using kuma's guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2601480&highlight=recovery, I was been able to unlock the bootloader, load his themed ROM and have the non-mirrored screen, non-mirrored recovery and touch fixed.
Lets, call this State 1:
Code:
kuma's themed ROM - kumakan 3.4
non-mirrored logo
non-mirrored CWM 0.0.4.5 Touch
non-mirrored system
fixed touchscreen
unlocked bootloader
rooted
However I think the non-mirrored recovery is a 2nd-init recovery and my original recovery is also present, correct?
Because I didn't like the ROM and wanted to move to CM 11 for my device I proceeded to step 2 below.
2. Installing CM 11 - First attempt
I flashed this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2728404, from the non-mirrored ROM, and got error, "Status 7", which I believe was because of an older recovery or 2nd-init recovery?
3. Installing CM 11 - Second attempt
Anyhow, I rebooted and got a dead android with a read triangle. I then proceeded to use Lelus' tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292828 to get to fastboot and flash CWM 6.0.4.8.
This recovery was however mirrored, I then flashed the CM 11 ROM, which flashed successfully along with the required GApps.
Let's call this State 2:
Code:
CM 11 - 20140902
non-mirrored logo
mirrored CWM 6.0.4.8 non-toruch
non-mirrored system
wonky touchscreen
unlocked bootloader
rooted
3. Fixing toushcreen
So to fix the messed up touchscreen I booted into recovery, and flashed Lelus' "Fix_Touch-V20F.zip", what this did was give me another dead android and again I had to flash recovery using Lelus' fastboot.
I then used this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39268215&postcount=24 to fix the issue but the path the sdcard was incorrect for the CM 11 setup, which I change to "/storage/sdcard1/" from "/sdcard/external_sd/" and now the touch was fixed.
Let's call this State 3:
Code:
CM 11 - 20140902
non-mirrored logo
mirrored CWM 6.0.4.8 non-touch
non-mirrored system
fixed touchscreen
unlocked bootloader
rooted
4. Fixing recovery
Now, my issue is that the recovery is mirrored and I have noticed if I enter recovery and even if I don't do anything in it except just reboot, then the touchscreen becomes wonky again.
I want to know if there is anyway to have the recovery non-mirrored as well as have the touchscreen fixed once and for all permanently. Or is this not possible?
Issue fixed, using modded recovery based on @kuma82's work and hints.
I installed the CWM 6.0.4.8 No-Touch that I modded (Can be found here) and then flashed the "cwm_ts_fix_p769.zip", now no issue, can use recovery perfectly normal and no more worky screen. Yey!
State 4 achieved:
Let's call this State 3:
Code:
CM 11 - 20140902
non-mirrored logo
non-mirrored CWM 6.0.4.8 non-touch
non-mirrored system
fixed touchscreen
unlocked bootloader
rooted

Actually I didn't, while searching for a solution to my problem, I stumbled onto that thread, and saw someone request the recovery for P769, I wondered what could be different, and the mirror issue was mentioned as well, so I give it a go, and then I read what fixed it, so I said, why not try the other recoveries this way.
Thanks a lot for that recovery and the hint on using Bob's CWM's kernel with the ramdisk of other recoveries.
Help
Hi, I have a t-mobile p769 too and it says it's from april 2013, I did all the process and it doesn't work, when I reboot to unlock bootloader nothing happens!!! :crying:
I appreciate your help
Really all you can do is try to do it again from the beginning and hope it works or go back to stock and fix your touch screen. It's hit or miss with these phones since there is no guarantee it will unlock

Did you wait for 30-45mins after booting into the Euro 20B? A lot of people don't take that step seriously.

That's what I being doing, and I think I'm going to make a backup just to not installing all apps again I think I'm not going to give up until this is unlocked
