Why dont you try to root it manually.
You know, push the files... chmod... run the exploit... etc
Use linux, no drivers and **** :good:

How to root spark tv
By A-Ar Andrew Concepcion and Charlie Dave Perez in Cherry Mobile Spark TV Group
WARNING!! Do at your own risk!
Chinese Superuser app.
NEED:
1.usb cable
2.computer
3.cm spark tv (your phone)
4.presence of mind..
Preparation:
1.Enable Application>Development>USB Debugging
2.Enable Application>Unknown Sources
FILEs NEDDED (download this and install to pc)
1.moboro for pc..
2.Download and Extract Vroot.
3.download ADB driver to make sure ma detect cp nyo sa pc
4.also download this Pdanet
STEPS:
1.
A. Run the PdaNet installer, wag muna i-plug si SPARK TV sa USB
B. When asked for your device type, select Other
C. It will ask you to plug in your device to complete driver installation. Connect SPARK TV to PC via USB. Mag-iinstall yung drivers.
D. Pag na complete .. mkikita nyo na your device is ready to use..
2. run nyo adb driver connect ur cp to pc then click install .. pag once it connected exit na lang ..
3. OPTIONAL lang to.. run moboro .. pag na read na ng moboro ang cp nyo minimized the moboro
4. Run > Vroot > Root.exe -dapat connected si SPARK
(You'll see some chinese text)
A. turn off ur cp..and wait na mg vibrate.. unplug Spark TV
B. go to recovery mode by long press power button + volume up(sabay).. wait hanggang mkapasok sa recovery mod .. pag nasa recovery mod na wala na kayong gagalawin sa CP nyo plug mo uli sa PC/Laptop
C. sa PC yung Vroot na ni run nyo-- Click the large button on the lower Right...tapos wait lang kau
5. Phone will restart. (Do not unplug the cp to pc)
Congratulations! You are now rooted.
Chinese superuser app.
to make sure na root na cp nyo .. download nyo sa playstore root checker
meron syang kernel swap support kaya oag rooted na pwede ma increase ang ram using 3rd party apps
Pag nag prompt sa phone, nasa right yung accept
para sa source ng mga download links . . . join ka sa Cherry Mobile Spark TV Group sa Facebook

hi thanks for the comment but the rooting process the power button + volume up is not going to recovery mode instead going to factory test and the Chinese superuser icon is not superuser apps but a web icon i tried for several times but the root checker say sorry! this device does not have proper root access if I'm going to recovery mode that said on your tutorial then plug in again to PC/laptop the vroot will not continue because of usb debugging mode but thanks anyway if you want to go to recovery mode on this phone press power button and - volume wait until display to recovery mode but thanks anyway

open your facebook, logon to your accont then search for Cherry Mobile Spark TV group . . . custom recovery not yet available as well as custom roms... recommended apps for me : search play google : sdcard booster, performance booster, ram booster, battery booster internet booster.

it is in fact not the recovery mode... sorry but the term they use is wrong because it is actually to boot in factory test.... and also you can change the chinese superuser to english...First download mo yung supersu, then install mo sa internal then convert mo sya para sa system ma install. Then open mo sya then update mo yung binary nya.. Tas remove mo yung Chinese na Superuser sa system/app.... tas reboot. you can use link2sd to convert superuser to system app

we created a new group search on facebook CM SPARK TV we will accept you there . . . why we create new group? the admin doesn't participate and are mostly inactive...
