Hi everyone. I had a damaged screen and purchased a replacement online. After installing the new screen, the phone is stuck on the "Sony" screen during its boot-up. It will not connect to my PC either so I don't know what to do to fix it at this point. I have all my contacts and important information on the phone so I would need to keep the data on it until I get a chance to back everything up. I also left the phone on charge last night and the screen no longer works. Any ideas? Thanks!

So ive been using JMT since the v8 and ive never had a problem before. One night i decided to get the X1 and everything seemed to well..the next day i was chargin my phone and i noticed that the phone was off, the chargitng icon was not showing.
I turned to phone on and it would go halfway the splash screen and then it would go black.. then it would start vibrating the way it vibrates when u turn the phone on and it just does that. I tried doing a battery pull but everything that i put in the battery the phone turns on automaticly.
Ive tried going to recovery but it just wont go in. PC doesnt detect the phone and it looks like theres a 5 second gap before the phone does the same hthing over and over.
I dont know what to do because the phone doesnt let me do anything. No recovery,no nothing.
could somebody help me please?
what can i do!? any other ways to totally erase the whole phone! even if i have to fry the motherboard so i could get a replacement lol! but i dont want to do that tho that would be my last solution
it looks like you may need a jtag to fix the phone, it seems that the X1 may have bricked your phone.
My Samsung Stratosphere turned itself off sometime and now is rebooting to the Samsung logo, and then turning back off, and rebooting (a couple times earlier it booted to the main android menu, but turned back off immediately afterwards) and when I plugged it into the charger it acts like it's charging and then turns off and acts like it's charging and over and over again, even when the battery indicates that it's at more than half full.
Does anyone know what's happening? (no custom ROMs or anything, it's all standard btw). I took the battery out and everything and it still does the same thing when I put it back. I tried to do a factory reset, but the recovery mode screen always jumps away when I try to activate it (I press both Vol+ and Vol-, recovery mode screen comes up but goes instantly, then the phone goes into a boot loop again).
Please help, thank you!

Hi, I'd recommend sending the phone into warranty, add the phone isn't rooted, you can't do much.

Had same problem on 3 phones. This is a connection problem within the phone. Disassembly & cleaning contacts often helps for a while, but problem comes back. Bumping the phone on the side or top, often allows it to work properly, for a short while, and so does squeezing it, in certain places. Get a new one, since the problem will re-cur.
Hi guys im not sure where to post this so im just going to post it here. My s3 got stuck on the boot up samsung galaxy s3 screen so i pulled the battery out and restarted the phone and now it doesnt start up at all its stuck on this static screen i cant get to recover mode but i can get to download mode i was just wondering what the problem might be and if there is a way to fix the phone? I have attached a photo to show you what it looks like.
That's extremely odd. I've personally have had an issue with my old phone with the startup with it giving me a "Fail error", but I can suggest that when it does that, keep the battery out for 10-20 minutes to make sure it stays off. Then put it back in and turn on the phone and see what it does. If that doesn't work I suggest you just either send it in for a new phone or have someone look at it.
ive tried leaving the battery out overnight and still nothing could it be a corupt firmware issue because the phone was playing up before hand for a couple days where it would just freeze and would need to be turned off and on, so i did a full reset cleared everything through recovery mode.
A week or two ago, my phone was lagging, so I pulled the battery out to restart it, as it wasn't restarting from the OS. It turned on to the HTC logo, then the screen went black. The rest of the phone works, including the digitizer and volume buttons. I purchased a replacement screen and installed it. The issue remains. I'm able to boot to Recovery and use a Java program called Android Screen Cast to see the display. Unfortunately, the display signal is corrupt, so I'm unable to test if a ROM reinstallation would work. I doubt it would in the first place, though, as Recovery, Fastboot and Hboot don't show anything as well, so it's most likely a hardware program. What could this be? I'm stumped on this one, and I'd like to have a phone to use until I have enough money to buy a replacement.
Hi, I currently own a samsung galaxy SIII for 4 years now.
But recently, it got stuck at the samsung logo and it wont turn on, the moment I put in the battery, the logo flashes every 3 seconds and thats it. I had sent it to repair, but they say that it is corroded with water, and is beyond repair. I only wanted to get the files, photos and notes out as they are really important to me. Is there ANY way to get it? Anything will do, as long as I could retrieve my files. Recovery mode is impossible as the screen came out for a bit, but it went back to the logo again. So when i press the volume up or down, nothing works. I tried connecting it to my computer, but it says error.
My phone is not usb debugging enabled, has no sd card, not rooted, and no backup. I really regretted not doing any of these. Please help me. Thank you for reading this.
