Stock roms are not deodexed. If you want a deodexed rom install a custom rom mate
U can deodex any Rom(i think) by using a guide found somewhere on xda. Just search for deodex guide

There is tool called xUltimate with which you can deodex the rom.

Will that work on Sola ICS???
I tried the ported small apps from Xperia T for S and it didn't work so after doin some research I found that you should hv deodexed rom so I wana try n do that to Sola stock ICS so I can try n install it again!!

It will work on any phone AFAIK.And sola is already deodexed,so there is no need to deodex again .

i have odexed rom, i would like to have deodex to have more mods.. lock screen framework etc. anyone help?
Why is your rom odexed? As far as I know the xperia roms are deodexed

Hmm everytime I unpacked a ftf and got the /system folder it wasn't odexed

Go to system/framework and you will see some odex files

I think some are and some aren't, the stock 587 I flashed is too.

I really believe you, but I didn't notice this before
i had a WT19i with .431 Rom and it wasnt Odexed at all...

Hi, using Xperia Neo V MT11i with unlocked BL ,stock GB 2.3.4 with custom kernel named NIGHTELF 10,
My question is, can i upgrade my phone to any Jelly Bean ROM without flashing ICS .ftf ?
I mean im on GB, and if i suppose flash SJB kernel and install the SJB 6.5 ROM , will it work ? I have to flash ICS , then flash SJB kernel and install the ROM ?? Please help... Thank you

No. To go to JB from GB, You have to flash 2 things:
1.ICS Baseband
(How.to flash Baseband only: While you select which ftf to flash in flashmode, select exclude system in right box & click OK)
2. JB Kernel
Then just flash the zip with the usual way. You're on JB from GB!
