Just make a backup of ur Curent setup and then give it a try and see
But all i have to say for now is, Since u have a stable setup for now why disturb it
Since some time's the below will happen
Curiosity Kill's the Cat
Just make a backup of your jb rom and then flash cm7. When you think that you are done with cm7, just restore the backup file!
Sorry i have seen hardbrick from doing this on other cellphones. So i want some real informacion about it. Not just give it a try ahaha. But thanks guys. Its for just one boot ahaj

Not part of this forum but I've been searching around for answers here
Going from 4.2.2 to CM7 2.3.6 leaves the phone in a bootloop- I've tried on my Galaxy S, going from the I9000 build of Slim Bean to CM7.2, possibly because of the data partition changes between ICS+ and GB, but I'm not quite sure why
So if you want to install CM7, first flash in official Gingerbread through Odin, root it, then flash CM7

No, it doesn't have different partition neither gets in a bootloop.

can u guys plz tell meh..which rom is the most stable and cool looking?
The best rom is the rom that u tested yourself and satisfy with it.
Try Sony HD v2:thumbup:

Do u even read????
Why don’t we give this a try?
There is no best Rom...you have to try different ones and see for yourself, and also install different launchers, themes and kernels and essentially customize the custom rom for you.
Yeah..!! Best for me doesnt mean best for u.. The best rom for me is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24808516
Fastest rom..

Cm7 oficial
Ace GT-S5830B CM 7.2 OFICIAL
Well if you want it in simple, no ROM is best infact. Every ROM has it's on up's and down's. So you probably have to try new ROMs and find what's best for YOU.
If you want battery + performance.... go for stock based ROMs
If you want heavy performance + heavy customization....go for cm based ROMs

Ya try jelly bean rom or key pie lime rom they are awesome

Stock! because they work. no bugs. and you can de-bloat and tweak as you see fit. i do like custom roms, but i have always found something broken in them. and half the time a custom rom gets no updates after a few weeks due to change of handset or other from the dev. the only custom rom im keeping my on is a fully working cm9. but i think i will have a S3 by then :/
Stock rom
cf-root
a2sd
updated andreno drivers
de-bloated.
NO BUGS
I recommend miracle v4

Problem is with the kernel... i am also facing it..most of the samsung pieces have this problem afaik.
I'm also having this issue... I'm from Latin America and the problem seems to affect "some" devices. First I've installed stock ddkq8 and then a custom rom based on the same stock. Wifi disconnect and reconnect after like 1second. It's like 3minutes WiFi ON and then it turns off but reconnects after 1 or 2 secs. Can i flash a working kernel with this stock? Change the section of this thread if it's. Necessary.

Wrong section ...!!
And yes this is a problem with cfroot kernel.

Well its not a device problem. It relates to the kernel. The current versions of cfroot that we have are old. When we get a new cfroot kernel with updated libs the problem will be solved.

For IMEI You Should Use Hex Editor

It's an awful ROM mate! I've seen more users having problems with it than any other ROM! I take it you haven't even bothered to look in the development section at some of the great ROMs we have, JellyBlast doesn't even come close with it's low quality theming, bloatware, fake JB build.prop edit, IMEI issues, performance issues... I could go on but I think you get my drift!

I would suggest you check out a few threads in the development section as XDA rules do not condone 'the best' ROM discussions as everyone has their own taste and preferences..

When I had Jelly Blast I had to flash The Kernel (Rafael.Baugis) and Modules and then the rom for it to work perfectly. Flashing it by itself is very buggy. If you want a JB 4.1.1 rom just go for Sniper's SGS3 Rom!
