What does it say under the battery I9300 .
Boot to I9305 means some fool has flashed the wrong firmware .
Flash stock I9300 rom .

Under the battery i9300 and in the boot i9305
Witch one I can use ? Becouse the ones Ive tried stop in the beginning of the process
Flash the Rom to match what is under the battery, so i9300. Plenty of people on here have done the same thing so search and read for those that managed to fix it.

Use the search function
First things first.
1) Check the sticker on the phone chassis under the battery. What does it say ?
2) What exactly did you flash ? If you want help, you're going to have to be a little bit (a lot actually) less vague.

You have an i9100G. Did you download an I9100G firmware? What did you download? I'm betting you downloaded an I9100 firmware instead of an i9100G one.
If you download an i9100G firmware and try again, it should work.
Try this.
Then if you decide to try installing ICS again, make sure you download one for the i9100G, and not the i9100.

Yup, that is a firmware for the i9100P that is O2 branded. See my post above.
By the way, FYI: i9100G is NOT compatible with other i9100 models in respect to firmwares and kernels

Sorry man, but you should have made some reading before you do this as there are many files with XX_I9100_XX and each belongs to baseband version which is included in the file name which should match your baseband version in settings> about phone.

Hi guys,
I rooted my Galaxy S II recently and flashed the ROM with ICS - Resurrection_Remix_ics_V2.6.1_AOKP-M6_GT-9100 . After that I am facing problems in Wi-fi . It doesn't turn on and shows me a continuous message that "Turning Wi-fi On" ... nothing happens afterwards.
Apart of that I can't see full internal memory which i used to see as 16 GB when i had Gingerbread . It shows me 2 GB now. I also tried "wipe dalvik cache" but nothing happened . and third thing which I noticed that when I switch on my Camera it asks me for SD card . it doesn’t work for internal memory as it used to work previously.
Please help or suggest if I can overcome these problems.
thnx
Did you use re-partition option?
Wi-Fi... change kernel and maybe it helps.
For camera I have no idea.

Yes, you can. But you need to find proper .pit (16 GB). It is somewhere on xda.

Hello all I have looked all over for information on how to simply install CWM and get some clean JellyBean running on my S2 but so far I have been unable to find somthing that will explain in detail on going about doing this. A few days ago I bricked a S2, and after rescuing it with a UK orange rom I was able to exchange it for a clean one again (They would send the Orange one back to factory).
But i'm still unsure how to proceed now.
How do I know if my S2 is romable? I have ICS running on it atm, 4.04, Baseband version I9100BOLP7, Kernel version 3.0.15-1056084, Build number IMM76D.BOLPM.
Thanks a lot!
Since I did not find CF Root for your ROM either you can:
1. Flash a ROM having CF root. Then root as given in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399. This method is suggested if you want to stay on stock kernel and don't want to try custom kernel.
2. You can also flash the Odin version of Siyah kernel. Find it from the download link from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555259. The latest version is 4.1.5. The method of flashing through Odin is given in the CF root thread.
I recommend 2nd method as its straight forward and siyah is a good kernel.

NO, all android ICS v4.0.4 stock roms do have the Brick bug that comes along with there Krenel's ma8
hence u also have it, but fear not as long as u dont do anything silly with ur stock recovery to hardbrick ur phone

u should not do anything with the recovery of the stock kernel of v4.0.4 like doing any wipes or backup etc as it might brick ur phone.
so to be on the safer side u can flash some custom kernels like 'Siyah kernel' thro odin, so that it replaces the stock recovery and also the custom kernels are safe from 'Brick bug' issue

Your very helpful as I had trouble understanding what should and should not be done. So if I just flash Siyah through Odin, ill be relativity safe? Ill still get the yellow warning sign but for the rest everything will work, and then ill be able to flash a custom rom like CM10?
Thanks a lot

yes u will be safe with siyah (ensure u flash the .tar extension file of v4.1.5 from ODIN) kernel.
you can use 'triangle away' app to get rid of yellow triangle.
and u will be able to install cm10 for sure
Maybe not the latest version of CM10. From what I've read, there are some changes made in the latest iteration of cm10 to sort out some issues in jellybean which requires some change in the kernel code and hasnt been implemented in siyah yet. So the latest cm10 ROM so far only runs on the cm kernel. It wont boot with siyah. Wont harm the phone in any way, but mihht give you a fright if you see it isnt booting. You could try some other custom ROMs in the mean time.. most of which are derived from CM10 itself.
I could be wrong though..so you could confirm it. Still..just to be safe, ya know?

No it still gives the same message, I'm wondering if its something to do with my usb port as the last phone came in over COM6.
Thanks though!
I don't know.. but does the Odin version matters? I use v1.8.5.
I really don't understand why Odin will give an error. Maybe you can attach the screen shot of Odin after you press start.

Hi thanx for replying back
I have to do a pit flash because whenever I want to install even original stock rom I can't it says PIT missing
And then shows FAIL in Red box...
I also tried mx.pit
Still didn't go on...
there's no need for a pit file for flashing roms just make sure to untick the repartition option befor flashing.
Sammobile.com for PIT .
PIT is the easy noob root to bricking a phone .
jje
Did you solve the problem?
I have the same device and the same problem.
Have found a link for pit file?
And for ROM?
