[Q] Xperia GO touch screen - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

My Xperia GO touch screen seems to require a calibration, the left column works intermittently and especially better when connected to a charger. Is there around another calibration tool more than the Nook Screen Recalibrate on Play?
Is this the only tool around and I should really flash to CyanogenMod to recalibrate?
Thanks

Well, if you are using stock Sony ROM, i don't think there will be a problem with the calibration. But still if you are facing it you can try repairing it with SUS. Or if you are using a custom ROM, you can try other ROMS and if the problem still persist, the best option is to head to a SONY service center and I think they will get it repaired for free.

solution for this issue. Help please.

My phone was running z's rom 2.2 for x10 when I took it out of my pocket and the screen was black. The blue lights turned on but not the screen. When I turned off the phone, it wouldn't turn back on.
The computer won't recognize it for flash tool or se fix software or battery won't charge if I hook it up to the charger. what do I do? I have never had this issue before. help would be awesome.
thanks. is it bricked?
Solution sort of: I took my phone in to ATT service center and they said my phone and battery weren't working. So I got a new phone for free. (THANK GOD) Xperia x10 refurbished. So I got to mod it all over again. lol. They couldn't tell me what I did wrong or anything. So I guess I have a solution. So whoever has an issue like me, lets just hope your phone isn't dead like mine The other sad thing was they didn't have a battery for me so they are sending me one through the mail. by tomorrow. one day shipping yess!!!! Thanks for all those who put in helpful ideas. Doing some serious phone pimping pretty soon once I get my battery.
Can you boot into xRecovery?
I have a similar issue here.
I am using the CM6.1.3 custom ROM on my phone (Android 2.2). It ran out of battery(for its first time) this afternoon so I charged it and tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't. It just starts up until the Sony Ericsson logo and just fades out and a white light will turn on at the notification lamp for a while and then reboot again. I tried the Sony Ericsson update service to reinstall the software but I changed the firmware and baseband so it doesn't work and it doesn't seem to be able to boot into xRecovery either. What can I do? Help/advice appreciated!
Problem might be with the faulty offline charging.so your battery's flat.I believe there is a fix for the problem, you might need to borrow a battery, install the fix(check the Rom main page) then you should be good to go :
You could also flash a clean rom using the flashtool version 1.3 I think

can you teach me how to flash a clean rom using the flashtool? i already have the flashtool but i dont really know how to use it
thanks
Look in the development section as there are detailed descriptions on this already, but I can say not to worry as it's impossible to brick this phone, it can always be returned to stock. It's the only good thing about not having a cracked bootloader, we cannot be bricked

Reflashing camera

Hello I was updating my x10 and it fell down from the table while flashing the camera rom, battery went out and now camera is not working. Is there a chance that can be reflashed fixed somehow?
Tried searching the forum for an answer but it looks like there are some problems with some of the threads.
Thanks!

it maybe a software problem but try flashing the stock rom again and hook up your phone to your computer and do a defrag and I may work.
Umm if it fell off you might have broken it?????

New camera firmware was introduced in 2.1 so you can reflash it..if it doesn't work its hardware problem

Thanks to all of you for the replies.
The phone fell from the table but not to the floor, I caught it with my hand... the problem was that it lost the battery as the back cover was off, there was no hit to the device at all so that shouldn't break the hardware.
I am pretty sure it is just a matter of finding a way of reflashing the camera as that is what it was doing when the battery came out, after that I tried reflashing it again with Sony Ericsson utility but it says it is up to date, even after installing 1.6 with the flashtool when the update gets installed it goes all the way without reflashing the camera so that means that the camera started the flash and it probably got the information in place that identifies it as being up to date, however it doesnt work.
Again, I know the hardware is fine because there was no hit to the device and the phone is brand new, the camera was working fine when I took it out of the box to test it so it is pretty impossible that the camera broke down at that time. I have multiple X10's and they handle hits pretty good IMO...
Anyway i will try the defrag thing as that is the only thing I didn't do.
If anyone has more ideas or knows a method of reflashing the camera only please let me know.
Thanks!

[Q] problem with xperia mini pro

Hi everybody!
Give to me some opinions about what can i do in this case. I have an xperia mini pro, but does not turn on. I tryed to connect it in fast and flash mode, but nothing. I was seding it to service, but they said that is a hardware problem, and cant do nothing. So, the phone is completely dead. Sometimes, from a long period, when i put it to charge the red led is start to blink like the battery dont have power; problem is the battery power is full, and after 2,3 minutes again dont give to me no sign of life...do u have some idea about that? Can i throw it to garbage( the motherboard) or...?

i tryed also other 3 acumulators, and no way to open
So if PC doesn't recognise device, it doesn't boot with fully charged battery it's hardware problem 4 sure. Maybe You could buy second device with broken LCD (but working mainboard!) and use it to repair Your phone. Or just send it to repair center - they should know how to replace it.
Is the device completely stock?,did u unlock the bootloader?

Problem with display/screen on my new Z2

Hi,
My 2 week old Xperia Z2 has display problem. Suddenly display went black without any damage (falling of the phone or etc.).
I see only backlight and digitizer working but display is not showing anything. I knowt that digitizer is workin as I hear sound of clicking and vibration just like everything is working normaly. But it isn´t.
Is this a broken display-LCD? It looks like it is not connected with motherborad if this is possible.
Thank you.

its strange for a new device but rhw Z2 face majour manufacturing issues at release so sony ended up with alot of faulty devices in customer hands
the screen death issue has been a mix of firmware and hardware so its why i asked for you to hardreset
some games may also crash graphics driver but that can be fixed witha reset
Mine did that too when I first got it. I thought Wow brand new phone toast. But a couple of power+vol resets and it came back on and hasn't happened again.
might i ask what firmware was your device running when this happened?
both of you
