Hello all
I am new to programming, and have been tinkering about a bit after getting my HD2. Took me a while now, but I've just completed coding an app, and would like to share this with the community. This is intended for motorists in Singapore, to view Traffic Cams. But it is quite unlike apps found in the iPhone. This app's features:
> Allows multiple cameras to be selected and displayed. Up to 12 cameras at once
> Save up to 4 Favorite routes, with each route storing up to 12 cameras
> Small program size and quick startup.
> Very fast image download speed
> Refresh images easily, and only if the camera's image has changed.
> For Windows Mobile 6.5 touchscreen smartphones, finger scrollable friendly
> Haptic feedback
Thanks to eboelzner for his wonderful work in putting up the HTC SenseSDK, which is used as the UI for this app.
If it proves popular, I'll work on porting it over to the Android and WP7 platforms.
Let me know if you like the app, and if you face any problems with it.
Update
> Minor bug fix - Error when viewing same selection mutiple times, and reduce file size
Thanks. Will try it out.
Thanks for sharing!
Does it support other city traffic cams?
Sorry, not at this time. Any particular city you're wishing for?
San Antonio, Texas for starters
Awesome!
Sounds so cool! Can we get London supported please?
Hello everyone!
Wondering if anyone has checked out the Accessibility features in Android N?
I am visually impaired and wondering if they have made any improvements to magnification gestures or other improvements in that area.
Thanks!
When you hand your phone to granny to take a photo of you, can she get the job done? Rate this thread to express how you deem the LG G6's camera software. A higher rating indicates that the software is easy to use, fast, uncluttered, and inclusive of advanced features for when you need them.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
This is some of the best software I have ever used with a camera. It can run in manual and it is very well fine-tuned. I also like that when you're in manual, you can "level" the phone as there is a graphic that appears to show you if you are tipping the phone in the shot.
The White balance (color temperature), ISO, shutter speed, EV(?), Manual Focus is possible in manual mode... HDR can also be turned on and off or left on "auto".
There are filters and lots of cool "modes" you can play with. There is also a "pop out" feature that uses both of the back cameras to create an inset image (which is customizeable with filters, different shapes, etc)
The selfie camera has lighting settings, filter and skin tone as well. Lighting adds more light to your face and skin tone basically adds a gaussian blur to your face if you want to give the appearance of faux smoother skin.
You can take advantage of the extra screen real estate and put a pop-up "camera roll" on the side to setup new shots based on past ones.
is it still the 5 min recording limit for 4K due to heating ? which LG v10 also has??

So what happens when you try to record again right after you just filmed? A warning too cool down/wait 5Min.?
Adequate, but difficult to use and over -difficult to use. Very difficult to navigate and understand within the application.
This phone has one of the best implementation of OEM skin over android. Its super light overlays and not trying to do too much in terms of animations and gimmicks. UX 6.0 has a consistent and proportional feeling throughout all the system apps with strict adherence to material design guidelines.
I highly recommend the following settings to take advantage of the insanely dense and crisp screen on this device and to best showcase the UX 6.0 UI themes.
# On Display settings
-- Set display size to smallest (makes the nav bar look apt-ly sized and frees up real estate)
-- Use LG's font instead of Roboto (this font is incredibly crisp on screen and uber readable)
-- Use bold settings for font (helps readability insanely, esp after setting the display size to small)
# On developer settings
-- Set animation speeds to 0.5x on all three animation types
-- Force GPU rendering for 2D
# Use a Dark Theme
-- Use a dark theme or black theme, default one is too bright to my taste.
I'm coming from a Oneplus3T who's OxygenOS had rave review for being a tastefully functional AOSP+ implementation of android. UX 6.0 takes it a notch up on the design side and is more refined than OOS. I wish they get to 7.1.2 soon to take advantage of the battery life improvements, otherwise this one's been mighty impressive so far compared to the experience i had on Oneplus3T.

Coming from mi 5, this mobile is excellent in terms of hardware and software needs to improve more. Previously had g2 which was perfect in all aspects. My sincere suggestion is improve the rom like miui. It has better features and doesn't lagg or hang.

Yeah, I own the 12 GB RAM model and often I consume all the available memory. Can you elaborate on improve background management? Kill more applications proactively?
We are looking to having android 12 urgently as we are testing android 13 on our pixel 6pro, not happy with software support from OPPO
maybe oppo is waiting for Android 12L to be released ? (for foldable devices)
I am sure they will rollout Android 12 soon as our device is the premium flagship for Oppo.

Yup that make sense
Just got PEUMoo_11_A.16... Still Android 11...
This bites as there are features that are available on Android 12 that WON'T work on Android 11...
Thought this was a flagship device...
I know that they're waiting for the version of Android that supports foldables but why haven't they upgraded us to 12 now.? Just as easy to update from 12 as 11...
Hey , did anyone install Android 12 (beta) for OnePlus Nord 2 given from "Oxygen Updater" apk ? It can be download full zip package and kudos for that the rollback Android 11 zip package (A19 vs) only for Indian version .
Name is OOS12 Open Beta 1 , not suitable for Pac-Man Edition .
Nope. I have the EU version Nord 2 and so I'm not going to mess with it. But I would have downloaded it in a hearbeat had they released it for the EU model.
Ok , me as well .
But here are some features we can expect :
OOS12 Open Beta 1 changelog (Nord 2)
System

Newly added OnePlus Watch Card in Shelf, to easily glance at your health status

There are also known issues in this build, which we have reproduced below for your convenience:
You might be unable to use Face Unlock in the dark after turning on Brighten screen in dim light through Settings.
Fortnite will crash when playing the game.
Additionally, OnePlus warns that "some features of the Pac-Man edition may disappear after upgrading this build", so you shouldn't install this beta if you own a Pac-Man edition Nord 2.
Although you may be hyped by OxygenOS 12 now being available for your device, do remember that this is beta software (as proven by known issues list) and that as such, you accept any risks by installing this update. Furthermore, you're expected to report bugs to OnePlus directly via community app. Do also mind that switching back to stable OxygenOS 11 at any point will require a full data wipe, so don't get excited and jump into OB1 without considering all its pros and cons.
The Nord 2 was released only in EU & India. Note that there's no link for EU yet. If you don't want to wait, you can crossflash to India from the app itself (just select the "India" device). However, we advise patience. We will update this article if OnePlus posts links for EU.
So another piece of **** software upgrade with general Android 12 additions. What a huge disappointment. They probably have the Indian version first because they've hired 1 Indian to make it compatible. As soon as I get a quiet moment, I'll probably custom ROM it and swap it out for a different brand before I install the beta garbage.
"There are also known issues in this build, which we have reproduced below for your convenience", For our convenience... great laughs were had.
Does anybody here have any hope at all for this phone in the coming future? Especially because the Nord 3 is already spotted **shakes my head**
