Hey guys,
I messed around a bit with unlocking the bootloader and rooting it with no success... I now just want to get back to original stock image without unlocking or rooting... but my phone is stuck with mirrored screen no matter what image i flash... could someone be kind enough to step me through a back to original guide from a misadventure??
I did search a bit and didnt find any definite guide to get back my stock... appreciate your help..
Thanks,
Raghavan

Hello, I am an ex DX owner and I'm use to just flashing basic stuff, ROMs and themes.
Well, now that I have an unlocked bootloader in my hands, I don't know where to start. I don't know what an RUU is or a .img or a kernel, really. How do I get back to complete stock Thunderbolt, like it came? Is there a way you can fix a bricked phone without looking like an idiot at the VZW store?
If somebody would like to tell me the basics and what I can do to NOT brick my phone that would be great.
A RUU is a full img of your phone basically and that will get you back to stock like how you bought as long as you use the newest RUU right now. a kernel is was sets your mhz/ ghz otherwise ur speed basically. and .img is just a file extension that besides when rooting you wont see much unless u brick your phone or dev. And yes u cant bricked a tbolt as far as we know, the guys at teamandirc tried and still brought it back to life.
unlocked bootloader means you can fully flash a rom, new os with the correct kernel and all files without killing ur phone by removing something you shouldnt.
hope that answers ur questions mostly. answered them simple and short to the point. if you need more i can link you some info to help you out.
Okay thank you! that helped a lot. thanks again!
Hey guys i managed to root my tab 10.1v and chuck on the 10.1 firmware with honeycomb 3.1. It became abit laggy so i decided to chuck the stock firmware which i googled and found out to be the P7100BUKDF.zip file which has the 3 files
-BOOTLOADER_P7100BUKC8.tar.md5
-MODEM_HRI83_BUKDF_REV_03.tar.md5
-PDA_SIGNED_HRI83_BUKDF.tar.md5
Chucked my tab onto download mode and loaded up those files onto Odin and after a few mins, done. Back to the old school stock rom. But what i need help in is to re-lock to the bootloader if its possible. OR to get that padlock (image) from the bottom of the booting screen to dissapear. Or even better yet, replace it with the stock image one if possible. If anyone knows how to do this i will really appreciate it heaps
Hey Yam777,
Have you tried "fastboot oem lock" ?
I recently unlocked my bootloader in order to root, and then locked it with the above command.
(Use bcmobile's thread as a reference: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1064793 )
GENIUS!
Thanks heaps! Yea all i did was change the unlock to lock and now the padlock is gone

Hi guys..
I messed up.. I have a maybe-bricked Prime, which I've been trying "everything" to get back to life..
Doing to drove me to AndroidRoot Mobi's website
I followed their "Tegra3 Guide: nvflash" guide, and I now see that my bootloader has been changed.. Is there a way to change the bootloader back?
Because I learned that on the AndroidRoot-bootloader you cant flash Blob-files.. and I think I need to be able to do so to get my Prime back alive
Bump - Sorry for just bumbing, but please do anyone know about this?
Actually I just got a little clearer on my problem
I staged the NVFlash file, and ran the generator.. but I couldnt find a way to access the internal SDCard, so I had no clue where to recover the Blob-files.. so I dont have em backed up.
Does that mean that I'm in biiiig trouble, or can they be regenerated?
I have fastboot working
I have AndroidRoot - bootloader
I cant flash a recovery image succesfully, therefore I cant get into ADB
I have NO working rom on it, which was my problem in the first place.
Any help is appreciated
I have just ported CWM for my tablet (Denver-TAC-70051) that is nowhere on the internet, although I hesitate to flash it, I have a question, If I where to screw up the recovery would android still boot up? and another thing, how could I back up my recovery into a .img, my block structure is quite weird, I will attach a screenshot with it, if anyone could help me I would appreciate i, thanks I
Hi, any progress on this? How did it turn out?
I'm thinking about making a ROM for the TAC70051 as well.. No need if you already got one working. Care to share?
PS: I've got the stock-rom from Denver, if you need that I can give you the link!
