Error restoring backup - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Every time when I restore a backup my firmware, I have an error during the recovery Data partition. When creating a backup, no error occurs. Where could the problem be?

CWM Touch 6.0.31

How much space do you have on your ext sd?
Despite all the data, pics blah blah. Is it 16gb etc?

I'm backup to ext_sd 32Gb, free space 10Gb.

I tried backing up with only 1.2gb left lol... I knew i needed more than 2gb in order to backup... Do you know how much a 16 or 32 gb would cost?
EDIT: Nvm, a 16gb would cost me $14 in walmart... Good price if you ask me.

Nandroid

While trying to do a Nandroid backup, I get a error stating, failure to back up boot image. What causes that and how do you fix it?

Does our version of CWM have the 4 gig limit?
The reason I ask is because on another phone the nandroid backup fails if your internal SD card had too much saved to it.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe that is the cause of the problem. I deleted my previous 2 backups and maybe it has a big size on SD card thats why it does not have enough space to create new one. Now I created new backup and thanks for the help mate. Problem solved. :good:

[Q] Brand new S4...not sufficient memory? help please

Just got my new S4 today, rooted and installed hyper drive ROM. Installed a few apps and now it says insufficient memory. Went to settings and it says I have total space 16gigs and 403mb free...how is this possible? What is going on. I did do a backup on titanium which I selected backup all user apps and system data. I'm completely shocked as to why I have no memory. I do have an 8gig micro SD card installed..anyone please help?

Did you have titanium backup do a backup to your sd card, or just to internal storage?

Didn't realize I could put the download on the SD card

Maybe you had many apps installed? Goto the internal storage using any file explorer and search for a folder which is called something like "TitaniumBackup". Then first look how many space it needs and then you can delete it. WARNING, this will delete the backups you made via Titanium Backup
Why?
Backing up both user and system data takes space, so I think this is the problem. Have a look at it!

U think the 32gig is shipping with that new update which blocks root?
It wasn't last week. Probably won't be shipping with the update until all the ones they have in stock sell. They're not going to open all the boxes and update them lol

Do you have a nandroid backup on the internal sd card? Those are usually huge

SD card is full after 4.2

I flashed a 4.2 rom then back to PATB 4.1 rom. Now I know that the 4.2 creates a SDcard0 duplicating everything but I can't find it to delete it to free up space. I'm at 31.8 gb out of 32.
Next time you reflash your rom, wipe internal storage. Easiest way imo

Why not just copy your photos and videos off to a computer for temporary storage?
As I was taking your advice I found the culprit, it was TWRP it had 10 backups in there at 16gb of space deleted all but the last one and now I have plenty of room. Thank you for your help

They do tend to add up. You can always copy them off to a computer if you want to maintain multiple backups.

TWRP Backup Fails

Recently I've noticed when trying to do a twrp backup it'll run for several minutes and backup a few partitions. But ultimately it will fail. I'm not sure why.
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions to correct it?

I'm showing over 7gb free on the sd card and my backups had been running about 2.5gb.
I suppose the card could be corrupted. I'll have to pop another in and try that. Thanks for the suggestions.
