Maybe your batt is dead.
I had the same problem.
Batt charged up to 100%, and with 5 minutes of use, it blacks out.
I bought a new original batt, and problem solved.
Thanks for answers. I tryed to use other used battery. Same problem. Tryed calibrate battery, same problem. Maybe i need to try get new battery and try again ? Or its mother board problem ?...

My luck is very bad. I failed to flash my 9100, and now I can not turn on my phone. No matter I press on which keys, the screen keeps black. And I connect it to my computer bu it can not be detected. I have tried the Counter Reset Patch to go to downloading mode, but failed. So what should I do now? If I sent it back to Samsung Service , how much will they charge me? Or If I can fix it by myself ? Who can help me? Thanks very much..
First, your luck isn't very bad, computers don't have luck, if you've bricked your device it's because you've messed something up not because you're unlucky.
Second, what exactly did you do to flash your phone? You haven't given anywhere near enough information for anyone to help you hence the lack of replies.

As far as I know I am the first. U know under almost all conditions u can fix it by downloading mode , but now I can not enter that mode. So I am unlucky.
1 tip
Try charging the battery using another mobile or external battery charger. Then connect. By my experience usb drivers of android dont easily get damaged or lost until u ruin the rom heart and soul.

What did you actually flash? Firmware, Kernel or are you trying to Root your phone?
If you can go to Download Mode then flash Stock Firmware. To be safe, charge battery to at least 70% before flashing via Odin3 v1.85. Provide more details so it would be easier for others to help....cheers

If Yes then the only solution is Samsung Service Centre.

Galaxy S2 phone shuts and restarts by itself. how to solve this problem?
do not under or overclock - then try a different kernel (siyah or abyss)
Its a 'smart' phone dude. It acts just like humans
Change kernel and use less aggressive undervolt values.

Hello
I need to send my S2 to warranty and i need help with reset/unroot please.
CSC I1900NEELP6 and im on 4.0.4
if you need anymore info please tell me
thanks
Yeah...you can't factory reset while in 4.0.4 because of the brick bug.
You should flash your carrier ROM and that's it.
Let me ask you something, why are you claiming warranty? What happened?

That's called fuel gauge (it adjusts itself) and you can find ROMs here.
Just flash a stock rom that your phone previously had when it came through odin... easy as pie...

Nah, it's the device setting a battery baseline, or something like that.
If you want it gone drain it till it goes off, charge it full while off and when it hits 100 % remove the battery for 90 sec aprox, insert it, power it up and there you go.

firmware not baseband modem .
You claim cable is ok then that leaves charger as possible problem .
What are you rooting with ???
WHY post the same question twice and that has been replied to already ???
Do you have a I9300 phone as you are posting the identical question in Captivate forums .

yes! answer the already asked question! what did you use to root the phone? the battery doesn't change the way of charging no matter the phone is rooted or not! that should be the problem with either the rom or definitely cable!
lol

You are the first to claim that .
But i would wipe phone flash to stock rom .
Test charge time .
Root using a different root method and test .
Fails return for warranty .

What do you mean to flash to stock rom? Sorry im a newbie
Try installing Galaxy charging current lite. It measures the current going into your phone. If the currents low it might just be the charging cable. Samsung cables are known for being unstable. I would recommend Perseus kernel as it has fast charging.
