HTC Driver for Win8

Im running Win8 on my PC and want to S-OFF with Racoon. But the drivers in the Racoon Websites are not working with Win8
Any help ?
You need to uninstall all existing drivers and software of your phone from your pc.
You also need to disable driver enforcer signature on your pc.
Then boot your phone Into bootloader and select fastboot, connect your phone into your pc and it should appear on your phone as fastboot usb, nothing will appear on your computer because it has no drivers.
You need to go to device manager on your pc and you would see android 1.0(make sure your phone is still connected).
You need to manually install drivers for it which could be found here( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998650 )
After you successfully install it, everything should work fine and your pc should recognize it on adb or fastboot

Flashtools Windows 8 Issues (Works When Restart)

Hello Everybody,
I am having some issues with the drivers when trying to use flashtools on a Windows 8 64bit system. I have installed the flashtools driver with driver enforcement disabled and the drivers were all properly installed (as it claims). When I try to connect my phone in flashmode, I get a message saying USB device is not recognized however it is recognized when the phone is on.
After hours of troubleshooting and frustration, I decided to try to put my phone in flashmode immediately after I restart and I went to flashtools and miraculously it worked! This shows that my computer is able to detect the phone but only before it is booted.
Does anybody know how I can get it properly working without having to restart for every flash?

[Q] Root problem

Hello,
i have problem with rooting both my phones (HTC Desire X and Huawei Ideos X3). My OS is Win8.1 and when I try to root my HTC, it always stucks on waiting for device when getting token id ... I think it is a driver issue, but i have drivers alredy installed. When i plug my htc in usb, its under android devices - my htc (in device manager), but when getting token id, the phone turns off, boots to fastboot and in device manager its under usbs - windows cannot recognize it. Same for the Ideos - when booted to fastboot, even if I have installed drivers, windows doesnt see it properly. I always plug it in USB 2.0.
I have tried everything. Please help! Thank you.

Windows does not recognize fastboot drivers

Hello,
exactly I would like to open my Bootloader followed this guidance https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...bootloader-oeffnen-und-schliessen.384769.html but as soon as I switch to the fastboot in the mobile phone my laptop does not recognize the phone. I downloaded the latest HTC driver and HTC Sync and Java. In the Device Manager it says Unknown Device Code 43 and Windows gets this message USB device was not detected. Before that I did not have any programs or drivers from HTC.
Thx

Stuck on <waiting for device>

So I'm trying to flash TWRP and it's been stuck on "<waiting for device>" for three hours. I also have the latest USB drivers from Samsung. My model is SM-G530P
Most obvious reason is a poor connection between PC and Android device: the device doesn't get detected.
Install latest ADB / Fastboot drivers
Re-boot Windows PC
Enable USB-Debugging in Android's settings -> Developer options
Re-boot Android device
I did all of that
Look inside here maybe it helps.
It seems that my computer isn't detecting my phone in download mode is there any drivers I can install

Click to collapse
Google search for;
"USB drivers for Samsung phones"
That should find a driver install .exe named "USB drivers for Samsung phones". Install those drivers.
If it still doesn't work, try a different computer, install the drivers and Odin on that PC then see if the device will connect.
