But i know a lots of us the 768g users using 760 cm roms without a camera but for a kinda expensive phone without camera worki.g is kinda sad
But any expert dev could make a cm or cm10.1 for us the cursed people with P768G... with a working camera and a theme chooser.
I really try it but when i extracted the kdz there was no .dz

I searched a bit about that... it can't be done because the MIUI is not open source... and when the the source is not available... there is no chance to make it work... somebody correct me if i'm wrong

As you can see im my previous screenshot, they said that there's a change to port it to our OO. Maybe if you gentlemen go and ask for it on their chat, we can have it sooner. We are a great community, let's spread the word and let it happen!

I've talked with a nice guy on MIUI official chat, and he said me that we have to do the same thing developers did with the porting of the CM7. Since MIUI is not for our OO we have to "take" the version of the MIUI taken from a cell with similar specs, and then cook our ROM. So we need some cool guy that will do it for us. Sure we can be all betatester, but we need developers. Any suggestions?

Lately I've been searching through MIUI Formus, and I came across a thread for the Optimus One in the MIUI Forums.
This thread is a port of MIUI for the Lg Optimus One, so my question is, would it be really hard for someone to port MIUI for the Optimus V? I would LOVE to do it myself, but I have no programming skills. Anyone would also like to see this ROM in Optimus V?
Its not a miui rom on optimus one, its mainly a cm7 rom with all of the miui apps and Widgets installed, you can download most of them free in the market

No..infact there is someone porting the MIUI rom to optimus one, i just saw it under the "Porting Advice" subforum in the official MIUI forums.
The person porting the rom is just stuck in a certain part of javascript, I have no idea what is failing since I havr no knowledge of programming.
I would provide a link to the forum but I cant since I need 8 posts, and I dont want to spam the forums just to get 8 posts.

miui is pretty cool indeed and from what I hear they use some cyanogen source. What I would suggest for now is to setup a build environment using iho's repository and begin to make it yourself.

You would have to get a developer willing to spend the time porting cm which might be difficult because the optimus hub is not a very popular device.

Alright, someone is working on CM9...but camera doesn't work well and he (the developer) said that he can't fix it without the phone...haha...how funny.

I have MIUI, THEME on my LG V10, but not ROM. I really want to learn how to port MIUI to the LG V10, but would'nt that require using the stock kernel for the LG v10? I know it isnt that way for the T-Mobile variant, but for us AT&T and Verizon folk, I heard that custom roms are possible, we just need the stock kernel with it. idk I want it sooo bad lol

I too would like to port Miui to the LG V10, would like any pointers from any devs who have experience porting. I saw that the Mi 4c has the same chipset as the V10 so it might be possible to use that to start the port off of but what would I use as the base rom?
Stock rom as base is probably the only option because of DAC and second screen.
