[MOD] Stock status bar with Power Button (build .257 & .284) - Xperia SP Themes and Apps

I like the simple things for daily use, 'coz I'm busy with my job now and don't have much time like a year ago, when I modified - and repaired LOL - my Galaxy SII like crazy!
So, I'm bringing u guys a simple mod for stock status bar with a power button. This will be more helpful than any screen-off software in store!
Features:
- Press to turn off and lock the screen
- Press and hold for a while, the power menu will appear (but in a weird way)
- Aligned to the right side, simple icon and non-overlapping Clear button
Install:
- Flash through CWM for Deodex rom
- For Odex: I'm not sure if it works, but you can try deleting the SystemUI.odex (/system/app) first, then flashing this mod.
Have fun guys!
I'm gonna post some guides to mod WITHOUT flashing - of course when I have time.

Hi,
I looked in the noob guide to see if I could understand, but can someone please explain what the ROM abbreviations mean.
Please correct the ones I have wrong and answer the ones I don't know. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

Thank you, I clicked thanks as well.
One more thing, when resetting battery stats, should that be done on a full battery or near empty?
It should be done when the battery is fully charged.
These are the steps I follow (I have CWM):
1. Charge to 100%.
2. With Vibrant plugged in, boot to recovery.
3. Go to advanced > wipe battery stats > select ‘yes’
4. go back > reboot phone (unplug after phone has rebooted).
5. Use phone until battery dies.
6. Charge to 100% with the phone off. (Not sure if the charging with the phone off is really necessary)
7. With Vibrant plugged in, turn on phone and wait for media scanner and launcher to finish loading before unplugging.
You will find different steps/techniques, this is what I do and it seems to work well.
I always charge to 100% before flashing a new ROM, that way I don't have to reset the battery.

You could be right, I'm not 100% sure. Button Light does sound more correct.

ICS Pureness Build 11 - missing clock

I went through this whole thread...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738055 and i still was unable to find a solution a solution for a couple of things...I am beginning to think I have another rom than what the pictures indicate. But I only found one download link. Any help would be appreciated.
I was missing the "Framework Modification" but i then saw that they replaced it with the "Xperia Home Preferences" which i still cant find it in my rom
I still cannot find a solution for the Clock
I do not have "Recovery" option when i hold down the Power button to power down.
Didnt get the Walkman app when i installed i installed it after.
** Also if anyone can tell me how i can disable the vibrate when i unlock the phone that would be wonderful.
**Also i know i can put in an aftermarket unlock screen but just wondering if i can add another shortcut to the lock screen maybe slide up to get to the dialer or messaging ?
I believe all the screen shot which are updated there do not belong to Rls 11, there are some old screen shot also. Regarding the recovery it depend on the your custom Kernel, if you are on locked BL you will not get it.
Hit Thanks if i helped you
Recovery not essential
Understandable, the Recovery is not something essential I was just pointing the things out that led me to believe i was on the wrong rom...what about the absence of the Xperia Home Preferences and or the Framework Mod? And the Clock?

Calm down, all the things that you are asking were previously asked in the ROM thread. I asked first some of these. So you could use search button.
Now, most of the screenshot you see in the first post of pureness are from build 10 or even before this. In build 11 there is not home preferences anymore, and the clock has been put into the scroll menu. This is because of the new xperia GX launcher and Jelly Bean UI.
If you still want the clock in the top bar you can search for a battery icon mod, someone who said something like "I didn't like the pureness icon, so I made it by myself". If you flash one of those you will get clock in the middle, too.
Recovery option in the power menu has been deleted beacuse of some incompatibiles. If you don't want to press volume down when rebooting, you can download "X-parts" from the store and use its "Reboot into recovery" tool.
Walkmann app is an addon, you can read it in the firsts posts of pureness. You can download walkmann from ThilinaC thread in "Themes and Apps"
** You can't, as I know. Maybe you can search about editing some values in system files
*** The pureness lockscren is something like a beta, it is wrote in the firsts post of pureness, so you can't do much about. You can dowload an aftermarket locker.

Power menu delay (4-5 seconds?!)

So, I am using Omni Rom (7.1.2) on my Sony Xperia X Compact with xposed, substratum and some tweaks. After setting up my phone over 1,5 days, I now find that the power menu has a delay of ~5 seconds after pressing the power button. I know that this was not the case when I first flashed the Rom, but I dont want to reflash and set up everything for 1,5 days again. So I hope somebody may point me in the right direction. I tried disablying all substratum overlayers, but nothing changed.
My xposed plugins are: Adblock reborn, All my..., GravityBox, MyAndroidTools. My other tools are: Adaway, busybox, fastergps, L Speed.
Thanks in advance!

offical build but test2 is nice too....Ill clear out the folder shortly so wont be confusing
Thanks for getting this to official status.
Beware that flashing this if you're not completely decrypted will wipe your internal storage upon first boot (because this runs as decrypted).
Just a heads up for most part rom runs amazing 99% everything is good ,minor things to work on at this point..Thanks to all the testers and public telegram chat that have flashed all our crazy builds to get to where we are today.IF HAVE AN ISSUE PLEASE PROVIDE LOGS!!!
Had a process.core error upon first boot and would't detect my SIM, rebooted and it works fine.
Camera seems to crash whenever you're in the front camera mode, and select the filter icon (not sure what its called), and slide up and back down.
Instagram crashed also on a story, but might be instagram fault.
Is there any way to enable Face Unlock? if not, it should be noted on the main post I'm guessing?
Thanks for the effort!, Will be running this tomorrow and report back.
Great to see this @dabug123. OnePlus apps......this includes the stock camera along with other stock apps?? Does the camera use same protocols as in stock ron like EIS, portrait mode, etc? Decrypted.,...other process needed prior to flashing the rom? If so where would I get this? Sorry for all the q's man. Never had a device that could root so easily and run stock apps with aosp based ROMs. Thanks again!!

5t ok!
All set up. Live the blue. Was on Omni. But this ROM flies in comparison. And smooth. Thank u dev.
Thanks again for your great work dabug123.
I loved your rom and kernel for the oneplus 3 also and great to see you here working on the 5t.
Stupid question, is it not possible to make the rom running also on encrypted devices? I already lose twice my internal storage with backups lol. It's Just a question
Keep up the great work.
Best regards,
ysco..

At this time, some applications will have space below. Is there a way to eliminate this space?
What happens if I don't flash the no_verify.zip, I read here that it will wipe the storage, does that mean the whole 128 GB or just the data partation, also should I flash the no verify zip evey time I switch to a new ROM, Kernel etc.
Trying to flash this one: liquid_remix-8..5-20171224-OFFICIAL-dumpling
But unable to boot device, had wipe everything, using the TWRP 3.2.1 (or lates) Tried with GAPPS and just the ROM, anybody else?

Rom works fine u must be unencrypted
So I flashed an12/18 build that was listed on lineageosroms the other day and ran into a couple issues at first but worked around them.
I tried subsequently flashing the 12/22 build and it failed to boot, so I went back to the 12/18 build. 12/18 worked while encrypted with no issues.
You have to start with a clean wipe coming from OOS.
Remember this is AOSP 8.0, so don't flash any of the OOS kernels.
ROM won't detect SIM card on first boot most likely, but should after reboot.
Casting and Google cloud print didn't work for me.
Great, its official now.

Wondering why remove the voLTE, is it too hard to get it to work?
Forgot to set the dialer app as default. I'm a dummy. Folowed the directions exactly and used the CSC for my device, the original CSC is probably the same but I wanted to make sure.
Wifi-calling is still not working, which is kind of a bummer since I rely on it pretty heavily. Any ideas about that?
