[ROM][9/04/13][4.3]CM 10.2 Unofficial - AT&T LG Optimus G

For the alternative version of the ROM(with support for camera autofocus with JB radio) see the post #2 of this thread
This is an unofficial CM 10.2(based on JB 4.3) source built ROM. It works on AT&T Optimus G(E970) and on Canadian Optimus G(E971/3)
Known problems:
- Camera app has no continuous autofocus with the stock ATT JB modem. But it works fine with the hybrid ATT JB/Nexus4 .84 modem by morrislee.

Notes:
- Backup your EFS partitions before flashing any ROM/Modem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161611
- Gapps are not included.
Make sure to flash 4.3 Gapps, you can use BaNkS's 4.3 Gapps package: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
- No modem is included in this ROM. JB modem or hybrid JB/Nexus4 modem is recommended. For Canadians: you need to flash an appropriate JB modem for your carrier. If you need continuous camera autofocus you can try hybrid JB/Nexus4 modem. And remember to do a backup of EFS! Refer to these threads for modem links: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270319 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
- The kernel included in the ROM is based on AOSP 4.3 mako kernel + my updates to support all E970 features + faux123 updates: custom color gamma/intellidemand/intelliplug/faux sound/faux speaker etc.

Simply flash the Chainfire SuperSU package for Android 4.3, it works fine.

I wasn't expecting CM 10.2 to be as smooth as it is this soon. You've done an amazing job! Running perfectly on my E973, and green LED is even working well so far! Thanks!

No in call volume... Can't hear during phone calls .. So I booted back into recovery wiped my caches just incase I forgot to during ROM installation and it boot looped upon restarting couldn't get it to boot past boot ani

In call works in on speaker, but no in call volume the normal way.
Edit:
Did some reading around on the in call error, it was an issue back on 10.1 and it seemed to have been a kernel error. I don't know much about coding but I will give it a try and look into it.

Flashed houstonn's 4.3 kernel. I know it was made for root box, but i figured I would give it a shot. Didn't fix the issue on the in call audio through the speaker.

The fix will be uploaded soon. It is not kernel related: I was a last minute fix for in call headphones audio(which should work fine) but I accidentally broke regular handset audio.
Edit: the updated build is uploaded: check the OP for the link. Sorry and I hope no important calls were missed.

A leak from any device that uses the same Mali drivers would work, I believe we are using the ones from the note 8.0 now. It may also be possible to forward port framework bits from 10.1 to make the glitches go away.

Usually AT&T phones are fine (albeit, after a reboot). My Rogers (Canadian) e971 ALWAYS needs the nfc-fix flashed in recovery when the ROM was made for the e970 natively. I think some other international variants need it as well.

There is a script that just got updated to odex the system/app and system/priv-app (where gapps .apks are located) .apks in kitkat.
The script can also odex framework and other parts of the ROM, so you can pretty much odex all the rom.

It is still in testing phase for 4.4, but initial reports show that it is working.

Use only the 1-24-2014,and above builds, if you flash the builds before that you won't have data.

Data is working fine for me and I know they had also confirmed it prior to seeing up this thread.
I would make sure you have an updated recovery... Philz seems to be working well for me

If you flashed an old build from the DL page, I'm going to punch you. Download and flash the one I linked a few posts ago.

Don't worry, I would've punched myself. I flashed the HOMEMADE Jan 24 build. Will download philz recovery recommended by Njenson and see if it works. Goo hasn't been working for me. Anyone have an alternate link to the latest Philz recovery?

Omni doesn't include root (Rick may want to mention that). Google answers most questions.

[ROM+EXTRAS] Stock i8190XXANC2 Rooted | Deodexed | Zipaligned | Debloated | Init.d

Here is the latest ANC2 ROM, modem and kernel for our i8190 devices. Don't try to install it any other variation of the SIII mini! Just download and install via recovery. If you don't have network once booted after flashing modem, just reboot and it will be OK.
ROM
This is the stock ANC2 ROM with some changes:
Rooted with Chainfire's SuperSU
Pre-installed busybox for apps
All apps deodexed for flexibility
All apps zipaligned for performance
The ROM was debloated of some unnecessary apps. You can download any of this apps using my repository.
ArchiDroid independent init.d support. This means init.d is embedded in the ROM and not the kernel, so it will work in whichever kernel you use
The zip file contains the ANC2, so you don't need to flash it separately. The installer will automatically wipe system/cache/dalvik partitions. If you are coming from a non-stock ROM, please wipe data yourself using your recovery. This ROM should be flashed using 2.7.0.0+ TWRP from NovaFusion. It may work with CWM but I do not guarantee it.
If you want to update your baseband along with the ROM, flash the modem from this thread.

can confirm it does not work with CWM recovery, everything fine with TWRP 2.7.0.0

Yes, I figured it wouldn't work with older recoveries... I was going to make it compatible with them but I was lazy and I also believe I'm doing a good job making people update their recoveries since the older ones do not work with all KK ROMs and may cause some issues... So TWRP all the way.
Thank you

hey Joel, any chance of odin flashable rom???
tnx in advance.
can someone confirm that it's better than the ANA2 firmware? I mean in terms of performance and battery life?
Well, maybe placebo maybe not, but your baseband works better on CM11 than juliàcarax one (& it's the same xxanc2), so thanks Joel, from now on I only flash your basebands:laugh::good:
I tried to install viper4android and I get this....do u know why?

Boot sound?
Very nice, bro!
Just a request: remove the boot sound!!!
I did it manually, though... easy enough.
