i have root mi s2 with Siyah-s2-v6.0b5 and Odin3-v1.85
runs great but my galaxy says that the memory is almost full and then i erease a lot of apps and still have de problem.
and know y cant install any apps
help please
It might be another partition that's full. I had a similar problem and it turned out that my external SD card was full. go to your settings -> storage and wait for a minute or two while it gathers stats on the different partitions. then look which one is full.

Hi:
I have a lot of apps on my phone and I have la 14Gb free on USB Storga but my phone is still showing that the memory is almost full. Please help me, Im using stock ROM 2.3.6 and I have the same issue with a Galaxy Ace. Please help me!!!!!
s2 for 2 gb for apps install and stuff, and I yet to see it get filled with apps, I mean how many apps you need when mobile apps aren't big to start with.
And the data that get downloaded usually go into internal sd, or external sd.
So you might want to check if the cache of some app is acting naughty.
I have like 100 apps. I dont want an SD card, because I still have a lot of free space on usb storage.
Hi,
Use Link2SD app.
You, can move app automatically or manually.
I think Titanium Backup do it also, but Link2SD had a simplest use, and works great.
Enjoy
Hey there,
I finally got the courage to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P5110).
All went well. Put Odin3-v1.85_3 on it and shakatu_recovery-clockwork-unofficial-6.0.3.1-p5110.
After rooting i installed (as decribed on the webpage) a custom firwmare: cm-10.1-20130409-NIGHTLY-p5110
Everything works smooth and easy and fast (!), way faster than the stock firmware on it.
BUT: what happened to my internal memory? I only have a few apps installed (should be around 3 Gb), the same apps when i had stock firmware, but when i tried to install a game, it surprised my i had hardly any internal memory left!!!
When i go into settings and go to storage, the device calculates how much free space i got left. It shows me i have around 600 Mb left. Graphically it first shows it's almost full (grey bar), but later after indexing it shows the correct amount of free space. But the text underneath it remains around 600 Mb.
When i go into a file explorer and give it superuser rights, i can go to upper levels of the internal storage and there are loads of folders there. It seems it has something to do with the rooting or the stock firmware (backup or something)??
How can i clear more internal memory? Should I do some sort of wipe again in Clockwork Recovery??
Thanks for reply! :good:
BTW: swapping internal and microsd card memory is not an option for me.
Below i wanted to put photos what my device shows, but i'm not allowed to do so since i'm a newbie.... :crying:
I believe you have the tab 2. This is the tab 10.1 forum.
Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk HD
You're absolutely right...
Can anyone move this to Tab 2 section?...

what kind of backup method are you using ?
I think Titanium is a good choice.
Another question can I install twrp recovery in my s2 plus.
P.S For system backup I used cwm recovery
I have the RCA g1 cell phone (not to bet confused with HTC G1) shown below. Is there a way to root this phone?
It has barely any internal memory. Because of this, I can't install barely any apps on it. I installed a 32GB SD card and checked the settings box that says install apps automatically first to the SD card. But still, I'm getting this message that says I have insufficient memory to install app whenever I try to install more apps than the phone's internal storage will allow.
I'm thinking rooting is the solution but if not, is there a way for me to fix this problem without rooting if root isn't available? Phone is kitkat os. Thanks
