Help please!!!!!!! - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Ok, so I recently got a samsung galaxy s2 i757m (bell canada version) and recently wanted to root it with cf auto root. Ran it through odin, pda. And it got stuck on a red eye patched android mascot with the words: cf-auto-root and under that were some copyrights and said words flash every few seconds. Please can someone give me a fix! Now, I can reach the download prompt on it but nothing else if it involves getting to the main os after startup. that's when the page i just described appears. Please send me a fix of anykind! Because having a bricked phone isn't the greatest experiance :crying:

Put in download mode start Odin get the stock rom from here:

I think you could flash another firmware. Or make sure kies isn't running in the background. Even using another USB cable

[Q] Soft bricked and looked/search/tried everything p769

I have been a member of xda for a good minute. So, I know not to post questions or ask for help unless you have exhausted all other means. Well, I have exhausted all means. I rooted my boyfriend lg p769 yesterday because I was tired of him complaining about the bloatware on his phone. I was stunned to find out that although it was rooted I could not remove the bloatware. I used root checker to check. So I searched xda and found out that the boot load on those phones is locked. I tried several different methods from the kdz to fastboot. None worked. So, I decided to try one last thing and decided that if it didn't work I would leave his phone alone. I searched google play and found some app that was to install recovery. I installed the app and told it to install clockmod recovery. When the phone cut off and back on it was stuck on the s/w updating screen. I searched xda and tried the support tool update, the guide that says unbrick/unlock bl, have also tried pc suite update and fastboot. Within fast boot it gets stuck on the wait for o...something something device. The update tool stops at downloading firm with an invalid path error. I don't know what else to do. I feel bad because I have my rooted s2 on rom deviant developers working just fine and he has nothing. I know in the past when I have softbricked my phones send it in and the manufacture did a warranty exchange. However, I don't want my boyfriend waiting 2-6wks to get his phone back. I am asking the xda community for any suggestions.
Welcome! You can try using fastboot to flash ICS x and u, then flash T-Mobile 20h using offline method.
After you root, I suggest installing L9Recovery followed by making a backup. If you want less bloat, you can try restoring a custom backup.

I had already tried those. Thanks for your suggestions. We just decided to do a manufacture warranty exchange.

[Q] Pit File?? Trying to follow Surge's thread and now phone is stuck at VZ logo

I've been trying to follow this thread
[HOW-TO]Upgrade to 4.4.2 VRUFNC5 and keep root (for NC2 and MK2 devices) [05/13/2014]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2726868&highlight=pit+file
It's now closed so I'm freaking out. I thought I had it but I can't find the pit file to load into Jodin. I tried to let Jodin auto find the pit file but my phone is stuck at the VZ red screen and won't move past it.
I've never had this many problems before with rooting, flashing, yada yada yada.
I've googled, searched and searched and gone through 20+ threads and I'm still stuck. Sorry and thanks for reading this.
You can follow this information. I have all the files there as well.

I'm screwed. The more I read the more freaked out I'm getting. The Odin file wouldn't populate...not surprising but it can't get any worse at this point.
Three computers and two ulcers later, I have my phone back up and running. Using a Windows computer did the trick.

As long as you can get into download mode you can fix your phone. Call a friend, who has a pc, download all the files, bring your cable and go over there and use odin to do it. Should take ya 15 minutes honestly. Again as long as you can get into download mode your phone is fixable.

Flashed wrong recovery

Hello all!
This is my first post so please excuse me for any errors.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, and its rooted. While i was using Flashify, i decided to change my recovery. By mistake i flashed the wrong recovery, and everytime i boot the phone, it goes into a download mode, Says "Could not do normal boot"! Now the problem is, that everytime i connect my phone to the pc, the pc does not recognize it. I have installed the device drivers, still no help.
I guess i need to enable USB Debugging, but as my phone is completely unusable, i cant do that.
Guys i really need your help, please tell me what to do.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

SM-T377P SoftBrick (I Think) Help

Hello whoever stumbled across this thread,
So I'm almost positive that I have softbricked my tablet. I can get into the ODIN download mode and everything but when I try to boot the tablet as normal I get blocked by a message saying, "An error occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software". I tried the smart switch route but as expected it doesn't recognize my device. I'm pretty sure that the only way around this is to flash the Stock ROM, or whatever, through ODIN to get it working again but of course I was dumb enough not to back up my device before trying to root it. So now I'm stuck and any help to get this thing working again would be greatly appreciated.
Try to use Download-Mode-Stick for Samsung. You can buy it from Amazon. It is a little micro-USB-Tool that turns on your phone into download mode if you can't get to it with the 3-Button-Combo(Vol D+Home+Power). I strongly recommend it. It is working for all Samsung Devices with Download (Odin) Mode support.
Regards,

I will make some research for your tablet to find a Stock ROM. Which Android-Version is the tablet? 4.4.4, 5.0.2 or 5.1.1?

And did you check SamMobile, Samsung Updates and Samsung Firmwares?
