Hello guys, could you help me which one of these cards would be the best? Is there any difference between them anyway? http://goo.gl/1jlIZ3 a http://goo.gl/NnXfFg ?
Apart from adapter, both are class 10, 30 MB/s speed. But I dont know what does the ULTRA mean in SanDisk. And if the price difference is only because of the brand
Is UHS-I compatible with the L9?
Thanks
Choose any best your money can buy. Class 10 and above will be better in any branded company with capacity upto 8 to 16GB. Sometimes 32GB and 64GB cards crawl like snails due to various reasons, especially when they are used above 70%.
I guess Im going for the SanDisk one then. Hopefully 16GB will be enough
Avoid the red & gray SanDisk cards. I had 2 of them go bad in both of my L9 devices.
The Kingston Class 4 cards have been rock solid.

They would not mount. It started out randomly. Then it was all the time.
So which one then? Cause more people recommended the SanDisk one. Actually I heard people having problems with Kingston cards, especially on L9
I bought san disk 16 gb class 10 and work very well with L9. I'm using it for 6 months

That's called a defect, it happens to all products. My sandisk 32 GB class 10 SD words perfectly and I've never had that problem.

Hmm, I've been looking for a cheap class 10 32gb.
They also have a class 4 32gb sandisk for the same price. Looks like I'm going with the PNY.
Not bad for 59.99 but I didn't like how its only rated at 10mb/sec write speed. I went for the Adata one instead which is rated at 17mb/sec write speed for $10 more.
Sadly they're both out of stock again
Adata: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211558
PNY: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178381
And Aznmode is correct, the Adata model is rated at 17mb/sec on writes where the PNY model is 10mb/sec on writes. For only $10 more I'd definitely go with the faster Adata.
I've been using the PNY card for about the last month. It works well - my only complaint is that it doesn't appear to actually be class 10. Testing in the phone - and testing in a card reader, the best write speeds I could get were consistently between 7 to 8 mb/sec.
I've been able to play 1080P clips flawlessly with diceplayer though - so I ended up keeping the card. I've seen no instances where the lesser speed held me back.

Wow glad I ordered mine last week (just received this morning) and it was only $69.99. I bet now that we got s-off and nand backup and roms require a lot more space now that 32gb are being purchased left and right. Anyway reading from the reviews some are getting write speed of 15mbps on the Adata which is awesome.
Thanks for the great find, I just ordered one. It's gonna' be great to finally not have to worry about filling my 16gb card with nandroid backups, or theme's/apk's.
Hopefully this card works great, my 16gb hasn't given me any problems, but it's time to upgrade = )
What program are you guys using to test card speed. I downloaded SD Tools from the Market and it doesn't read right. I have a class 2 that reads 10mbps but take a while to finish while my class 10 adata gets the same 10mbps but finishes fast.
The card is usually around $90 but I saw it today and it was $65 but I've been hearing and reading the reviews that class 10 haven't been working on android and that the card will fail and you have to reformat thus loosing all your data. But try it out for yourself seems like a good deal.
http://www.amazon.com/Lexar-MicroSD...610M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315997847&sr=8-1
I've been using class 10 cards on my Android phones since December of last year. No problems here. This isn't a bad deal really. I think I'll wait for them to drop a little more before I jump on the 32gb ship unless I fill my 16gb up.
I agree with housry, good deal, but not a great deal. I have 32GB SanDisk already, but I'm always checking out deals because I'll want/need a 32GB card for my tablet that I plan to buy very soon. My SanDisk is only a Class 2, but speeds are much higher as SanDisk always under-rates their cards. My speeds are similar to other brands Class 6-8 cards. What I was gonna say before all that rambling was that i paid less than $60 shipped(new and direct from SanDisk) for mine, great deal in my opinion for SanDisk brand.
Also, there is another thread in this sub- forum about microSD cards, their ratings, speeds, and the owners opinion of them. You should check it out to see everyone's results and opinions.

A-Data 32GB Class 10.
Done.
PNY class 10 16GB here.. bought it at best buy for 45 bucks!
PNY is another brand (besides sandisk) that you can never go wrong with, at least in my experience. Every DSLR camera i have ever owned has had a PNY card in it, never any problems. I didn't have to format mine either, just popped it in and it has been working flawlessly.
it performs like a class 10 as well, somebody mentioned sandisk underrates their cards, they do. and PNY, in my own experience, rates them exactly what they should be.
good find. not a bad deal, i'm sure you could find a 32 gig sandisk for less than that if you look around carefully

a lot of times doing firmware updates on devices allows them to accept higher capacity storage devices. for instance my old sandisk sansa mp3 player accepted upto a 4gb microsd card, but once I updated the device it would then take the 32gb from my thunderbolt.
its possible when htc said it can take up to a 32 that at that stage in develooment that could have been the max, or possibly 32 was the biggest size they tested.

When I got it it was recognized fine by the phone, but it is exFAT and recoveries don't exFAT so I formatted it to FAT32. I had weird random sd unmount/mount problems so I took the card back out, put it in sdxc reader, and ran chkdsk on it. I haven't had a problem since. The thing is fast, too.

My card just crapped out. Was using it in my Atrix. I put it in the card reader on my PC, went to transfer some music to it, the fix scan came up, then disappeared and now i won't even register in the PC. I'm going to hit up the AT&T store tomorrow and see if they'll replace it. I see the chances of replacement as slim and none but it's worth a shot.
