I am stuck and need help! I know this is not the right forum completely but i want to return to stock ROM.
I tried installing the CM 10.1.1 ROM by Lloir and followed his steps correctly. Unfortunately forsome reason my phone in stuck in a bootloop in the CyanogenMod screen and will not move further. I try switching it off but it restarts and gets stuck on that screen again.
What do I do to go back to stock ROM, can I use Odin or something?
PLEASE HELP!

Hello,
Thank you for the link. However my CID is HTC_038 which is not mentioned in one of the responses.. Will it work for my phone?
I managed to return to stock. You cannot downgrade but I installed original ruu exe over mine, the same version not higher or lower and worked.

This is a pure stock rom. I removed nothing. I only added system level tweaks. I.E. busybox, root, init.d support, and so forth. No apps were added or removed. Just something for people that like a stock looking rom with little to no changes.
Instructions:
Copy to SD.
Flash in recovery.
Download
Thanks

So with this we don't need to use the multi tool if we are running GB?
Does this give S-OFF with HC?

No. You still have to be rooted and either HTC unlock or s-off.

Updated with actual RUU and not a system dump.
It's not doing the bootloader thing for me. Did your latest update remove the necessity of flashing the boot.img in fastboot? Also, do I need to manually create the init.c directory? because it's not present after the flash.

No it is the same kernel and everything just used the official source. I packaged it this way to prepare for the HTC dumlock recovery hack. The only reason you would need to flash the kernel through hboot is if you are HTC unlocked. I am working on the recovery and integrating the dumlock so HTC unlock users can flash kernels in recovery

On this device you are unable to go back and forth like you can on other devices. You need to upgrade hboot for one. There is an s-off upgrade thread by globatron here somewhere that will tell you how to do the upgrade while keeping s-off. Once you do that you can flash this without an issue

No, as I wanted this to be a pure stock rooted rom. Nothing edited, removed, or replaced.

I've already nanoid backup.
Lets say I'll go ahead & experiment with custom ROMs, & that fails, the phone will get stuck with whatever screen or black screen.
You think I can use Toolkit V1.1 by hasoon2000 to boot to Recovery & restore it?
sorry for asking too many questions, I just want to avoid issues.
Thanks

Can I use this method to flash custom ROM for HOX+?
thanks
Happily to report that I've successfully installed Elegancia 3.2 without updating the firmware.
Thank you all.
Please help. I accidentally deleted the stock rom on the phone and now im stuck at fastboot. The bootloader is unlocked but my HBOOT is still 1.32.0000. I tried using the RUU to go back to stock rom but I can't find rom.zip anywhere at all. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
UPDATE
I installed maXimus+ 4.0.0 on it but it keeps on rebooting and its stuck in a bootloop. I installed the boot.img from the rom itself it still continues to boot and not load. Any help is greatly appreciated.
They should probably be somewhere else but in the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987885 thread I have posted the steps you need to fix your phone.
Find my thread on this I did the same thing.
Basically flash kernel from fastboot, go into twrp, install the rom via adbsideload
I'm using elegancia. Also make sure you flash the att recovery and att/Telus roms.

I tried it, but it make a error 155 and in the phone fasboot screen says "hboot older". I think this is because the ruu is 1.14.401 and now i have 1.18.401.1 after the first ota.
Now triing to install a second ota 1.18.401.3 make a triangle error. It´s for that i think i need a intact stock nand backup.
Thanks.

I don't think I have. I am assuming you have S-Off, if so lets start all over again, first wipe, then install the rom, then get the kernel from the zip you just flashed (the rom) and get the boot.img and flash that through fastboot (which you should have on your computer already, right)
here is the thread i followed to get myself up and going and use it for reference in the future if you need any help

OK. The black jelly is like the fastest ROM on my HTC. I flash the boot.IMG. where is the kernel at? No I don't have s-off. Do you suggest I do
