[Q] Volume Change bar - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
is there anyway to hide the volume change bar faster.
Every time I press the Volume rocker, the volume change bar keeps on the screen for five seconds.
In my opinion are two seconds enough.
Thank you!

Just touch the screen outside of the volume slider.

Come on... that's no solution

How to set ringtone's volume to max all the time?

is there a way to have your hd2 ring at the highest volume possible all the time, except if its on silent or vibrate mode?
if for example i press the volume buttons on the side and set the volume to 1 bar, the ringtone's volume will be lowered as well.
In settings select Sound & DisplAy and turn off single volume. Now when you hit your volume button, there'll be two tabs - System and Ring. There you can max out your ring volume and still have your messaging/media volume at whatever level you want.
Hope this helps dude
had no idea what that option did..
thx a lot for the help
No problem mate!

[Q] Screen off

Hi
IS there a way to switch off the screen without having to press the power button.
Most of the time I press the volume button too and I find it very un-practicable.
Thanks

Just use one of the "Screen off" apps from the Market ...
... or set the screen off setting of your phone (Settings => Display => ... Screen off time) to 15 seconds and wait for 15 seconds ;-)

How do you take a screen shot?

The title kinda explains it all.
Hold the power button and volume down at the same time.
It only took 0.50 seconds,

Notification Bar "Capture+"
I've tried holding down the volume down and power button, but nothing happened. That's why I came here.

Power button and volume down are the buttons to hold.
You can also try using Capture+ which up can find by bringing the notification bar down. And looking in the tool bar where Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is located.

Tried both and neither worked.

I just tried both methods and they worked
Simultaneous press of volume down and power button. If you see the volume adjust you're doing it wrong. If you don't see it and you're sure you're pressing both, then you have a legitimate problem.

Volume slider on lock screen

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone knows how to get the volume slider to show up on the lock screen. Adjusting volume works just fine, but there's no slider indicator that pops up. Sometimes I have a podcast (or any other media) on pause and use the lock screen to resume playback and would like the volume slider to show over the lock screen when i hit any of the volume keys.
Thanks in advance.

Volume fly-out when pressing volume button

Hi. I've just received a new 9S and would like to know if I can extend the timeout of the the volume adjuster (when pressing the volume buttons on the side)?
I hope that makes sense, the volume sliders appear for about 2 seconds but ideally, I'd like them to be visible a little longer.
Thanks in advance of any help you can provide (MIUI 11.0.3).
