So hello, first of all i hope i didn't missed a forum for this question.
Basicly am interested if can root my tablet, because don't even know how to enter recovery mode.
Thank you in advance.

Hi guys,
After doing a fair bit of reading, and getting quite confused and worried about rooting my new tablet, I finally took the plunge and tried it with your script. Really worried about bricking it, but it actually worked exactly as you said - the batch file to run is called root708dcc.cmd. Root checker tells me that root access is now enabled, which is all I want (I don't want custom firmware or anything else)
For reference, my tablet is a Fusion5 Premium+ with rockchip quad core chipset.
Thank you!!

For those that are looking for custom rom's for the generic RK30 devices look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2108704, Oma has done an awesome job building roms and fixes for many devices.
RK30sdk other devices
E-Boda (or Eboda) Supreme IPS x200 runs on rk30SDK board.
I post it here so that others will find it when they do a search.
Works with ideausa ct720hd
Just wanted to say thanks and to post that the root patch works great on
My new IdeaUsa CT720HD
Thanks

Used a rooting app
I rooted my Kiano Pro 10 Dual(an rk30sdk device) with some random Chinese rooting app, and surprisingly enough, it worked! I did try it on my friend's phone but it didn't work, so it might depend a little on the device. Also, the app i used installed a weird root management app that was written in the same language as the root app... I'm not exactly sure where i found the app, so i can't provide a link... But instead of using that i would suggest you used Kingo root. You just need a Windows computer, a USB cable, and drivers for your device! There are more detailed instructions on their website: (Can't put links in posts... Just google for Kingo Root )

I have problem with my android car multimedia that has rk30sdk chip in it.
When i turn it on it says that uid is inconsistent , but i will post here pictures of system info and errors.
My question is :
Is there any way for me to root it by an aplication, and install then SuperSu, then install recovery so i can wipe it to factory reset there.
I tried factory reset in Settings but it didnt change anything.
I have pass trough usb cable from the back of dvd if that need for something.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
I have tried z4root, gingerbreak and no luck. Since msi wont give us usb drivers we cant root using superoneclick or similiar. Till we have drivers, no root here
can anyone root the firmware directly.
here is the download link

I have the same problem with Windpad Enjoy 10, i think the specs and firmwares are the same for both 7 and 10 inches.
I am downloading the firmware now, hopefully there is a way to root the firmware. Worth a shot

hope you find a way and after it a way to install honeycomb! really is it possible to run honeycomb on cortex-A8 CPUs ?
I have quite a bit to learn in order to attempt rooting the firmware image. I need this to use ADB for debugging. What concerns me with this device is no matter what I do, skype ALWAYS runs, powerdvd ALWAYS runs and there is never more than 160MB free ram out of 512mb. Thats really odd and slows the device down terribly. As for running honeycomb, I have no idea to be honest. Im an app dev, need more info on the low level stuff.
I did update the firmware, the device seems much slower. Could just be my imagination though, but it feels sluggish now
Thank you for your effort, I also updated my device, i found no change in speed, installed apps, ram usage, ... I don't know if it's changed or not, my device info was\is:
Android ver. was 2.3.1 now there's no change
Kernel ver. was 2.6.32.27_MSI no change for now
Build No. was Android_2.3.1_MSI_201109... now changed to 20111128
any good news?
Nothing yet, my time is incredibly limited right now. I have 2 personal projects collecting dust
you are the hero! we'll wait for you
Thank you everybody
i install latest firmware and my tablet is speed up!really but my tablet is enjoy 10"
and my question is about when honeycomb coming for this tablet?
and is it rooting?it is very hard ?and why?and last question is about driver for win 7?
thank you for attention.
I have the 10" too. There's no rooted ROM, special driver or even any special support from MSI for this device (i couldn't find). so the honeycomb project will be so from us! hope someone opens a window of light!

cornelha, any news? how is the process of rooting a ROM? can i do something
He guys, check this thread for the ADB drivers. Just FYI...
androidza.co.za/forum/showthread.php/1254-MSI-Windpad-Enjoy-7-(MS-N7Y1)-Rooting-Problems
nothing's useful there! and I don't think if the problem of superoneclick is about the drivers cause my device is known by ADB correctly (in Windows7 without installing any further drivers)
@ cornelha
any idea for rooting the ROM ?!
Dears,
I have Enjoy 10 but lost the touch capabilities. any solution please?
explain the problem pls

I've tried rooting with Framaroot 1.9.3, also RootGenius and SRSroot without success.
Can anyone please suggest other tools to try? Or must I wait for a new exploit to turn up?
I really want to root it, not least so I can try remapping the memory as it's already running out of program space!
Thanks.

I got root/SU for this eventually using Vroot, then installed SuperSU - be warned, Vroot claims to install SuperSu but actually installs some Chinese-language superuser tool.
For some reason, rooting meant that the SDcard went read-only again, so I had to use SDfix again. Everything else works OK after that, but now Titanium Backup claims "insufficient free space" both on the internal and external SD. Most odd!
It Works!

It works! Thanks! But the PDAnet driver is really necessary for the success rooting method. And you also should turn app permission manager off.

That's true, I think it was in the Vroot instructions. I don't know about PDAnet drivers, I just plugged it into the laptop that I keep for all this sort of work, it has HTC and other drivers on, and has reflashed and rooted a bunch of different handsets.
Have you got the Alps/Haipai S5 then? And have you taken a ROM backup of it? I messed up my device after rooting it, only to discover my ROM backup was corrupt... Sigh. So I am looking for another copy of the firmware!
Vroot
Used Vroot can root any type of China Phone/tab ivbeen worked in.
Its install some chinese leanguage apps, but, in general, ivbeen chase good results with Vroot and flashify
Is "ALPS S5" same as "USMART S5"?
I'm wondering whether "ALPS S5" is "USMART S5"? Because I can only find a few info about "USMART S5", and the data stored in my "USMART S5" shows that the manufacturer is ALPS......
Hello Everyone.
i'm new to all this programming and flashing thing but thanks to you all who gave lots of info to stat with. but problem starts when i tried all these methods and none of them worked for me . So today i'm forced to ask you about all my problems i had with my tablet.
OK so here is what i got, A "7 inch" gsm allwinner a13 x-tab from company named Phoenix easy touch environment. it has cortex a8 1.2ghz processor with mail-400mp gpu and 353mb of ram. model is 86VEBC(nuclear_evb_rtl8723au) with sun5i hardware and 10 partitions. kernel version is 3.0.8+ and Android version 4.0.4.
Problem starts when my dad came one day and told me this tablet stuck on boot logo and now its useless. so i start searching and after lot of effort found only one rom who agrees to install on it via livesuit 1.07 and 1.09. i installed that rom and started using it.
AND THEN MAIN PROBLEM STARTED.
i installed social apps plus updated some bloatware apps added by rom owner and after one hour apps start crashing. first i thought it has something to do with registry or other minor problems so factory reset it and when it did same again i flashed its rom again. But didnt get any better results as same thing happened again. so when i searched i found that 4.0.4 android has some bad habit of crashing apps without any reason so i came to this forum and few others to find out solution. i searched roms and roms of this tablet but none of them even respond to this tablet. then i heard about Cyagenmod and other roms which woks perfectly. so i read cyanogenmod thread on this forum and another forum and tried that method. first phase was successful and i installed cwm recovery and my tablet was on after installaion. but when i tried to boot into cwm recovry to install cm a13 i got stuck at boot menu. i tried method many times but still stuck at boot menu. so i flashed tablet again and then tried to make my own cwm recovery. i followed method carefully and installed busybox and gscript lite given in that thread. then i successfully made back_mt657x.sh file and added it in script. when i run it i got mkdir already exist and fer others but i ignored them as it might be not important. after 5 or more minutes when "backup complite" came i closed gscript but it said "unfortunately gscript lite has stopped". and when i checked files there were half files than mentioned and none of them was .img file. i searched and found nothing about it.so i made screenshots of gscript lite and posting it here for you all to read and tell me whats wrong and how can i install cm a13 on it with correct cwm recovery. (btw my tablet is rooted)
Thanks for your patience and precious time.
Regards,
ZinGer

Yes. I have also tried the same thing with no luck at all.
Is there anyone who can help?
As the title states? I am totally LOST. Need help from an expert!
Rooting or disable autostart processes any other way ?
I'v got the same Phone and the same problem.
Note: Although the information in "About this Phone" says it's a MT6582 Quad-core, every hardware will says it's a dual core MT6572. with 2 ARMv7 rev 3 (v7l) cpu cores.
Perhaps this is the problem when trying to root the Phone.
Still would like to root it.
Andriod version: 4.4.2
Build: KOT49H
Kernel version: 3.4.67
SDK: 19
Build-number: V8 20150508-200018
Anyone yet?
Main reason for rooting is to disable processes autostart. Because the Phone hasn't got a lot of internal memory (just 512Mb) this will slow the Phone down when there are a lot of apps installed that keep a background process running, like Maps.me and tapatalk. You can kill them, but they will autostart in a minute.
Is there anyway to disable autostart for certain processes without routing?

Anyone tried this?
There's a YouTube video: "How to Root every MTK China Phone - Readback With SP-Flash - Root + CWM on INEW V8 [HD]"
I can't post the link, since i need at least ten posts to be able to post outside links on this forum, so you have to search on YouTube using
For me as a novice on android devices (although professional expert on several platforms) this looks a bit complex and finicky but in the end do-able. Since I still can't get the hard reset (using power and volume buttons) to work :silly:, i will contact the seller for this info. I will try to root it, but since it's my only phone, at a convenient time for me.
Use Kingroot v4.62 from mobilism.org. It works fine to unroot...
I just picked up this tablet a few days ago, so far it's very nice - although maybe a little slow - Has anyone worked out a method for root on this yet? The best I can dig up was a bit of info in a German forum: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/acer-iconia-tab-a3.1801/root-fuer-a40.797192.html - however it refers to A3-A40.
I haven't found a thread on this device so I figured I'd start one up and see what we can come up with - I'll happily provide any info needed on the tablet.
Please guys help us! Just got one too and this thing would be amazing with root. Donations will be given!
I too will provide donations!
Just got mine. I wish we could root it. I guess it also has a locked boot loader too. Dayam!
Need root; Willing to pay; Any interest?
I just got this tablet today for evaluating for a kiosk project.
I also have an A3-A30 on the way tomorrow, in case this B3-A40 couldn't be rooted (we're short on time).
Root is a must-have for our kiosk/messaging app that we're developing, so we can do reboots and other advanced stuff remotely.
I have now tried every "one click" solution, none of them work. Tried unlocking the bootloader manually which was unsuccessful, contacted Acer about it and they told me to check online forums which was of no help at all. Even tried gaining root through bash on linux but that didn't work either. I have now ran out of options so guess I'm just going to have to give up trying to root it
hi
has any one any luck rooting the acer iconia one 10 b3-a40fhd
i just tried kingo and king root but without succes
i was wondering if any one has been able to root it
the german site i dont think i have enough experience for that unless someone
makes a for dummies guide
See post below
I was just searching (wife finally decided to let me try and unlock it) saw this thread for temp unlock, and perhaps more:
Temp root for some MTK devices - Need help getting permanent root on Acer B3-A40figured it would be VERY good to put here too!
PS: I have included a snapshot of MY B4-A40 Status screen for fun (and knowledge)
btw, the Acer web site DOES have the originaal image version # on their site for downloading
Hope this X-reference thread helps!
Oh yeah, someone somewhere mentioned there's no IMEI # . That would be because it's NOT a phone, and IMEI is a PHONE ID 'thing-y' (yes, that's a technical term!).
