I have a generic chinese tablet.
What I am trying to is find a better rom for it. I have spent a lot of time trying this without any success.
Here is what I do know it is a A7.
Kernel version
3.0.8-tcc [email protected] #131
Build number
full_m805_892x_evm-userdebug 4.0.3 eng.zxp.20121228.101433 test-keys
I have already mucked up one which comes up "unfortunately, Launcher has stopped".
The other one I flashed the rom but the touchscreen is not working.
The more I look for a answer the more confused I get. I understand enough to what needs to be done.
Just need to be put on the right track.

Hey there everybody. I got my Viewsonic G Tablet a few days ago and have been enjoying it immensely. I have been looking at the roms (Already tried the TnT Lite 4.4 rom, reverted back to the backup I made) and I always see this "Warning, do not do such and such if your stock rom is ####."
Well, my question is really simple, and probably has been answered 500 times (Believe me, I looked, couldn't find anything) but I still have to ask. How do you tell what your stock rom is? (Like, the rom that is installed on the tablet when you buy it.)
Hope that makes sense. Thanks everyone!
You will find it under settings, about this tablet...or something similar. Look for the UI version.

Hmm. Model Number: UPC300-2.2, Android OS: 2.2, Tap UI: 1.1-3588, Kernel Version: 3.6.32.9-00000-10.8.2, and Build Number: FRF91, none of those look like what everybody was talking about... I mean, I could of just overlooked it (Very possible) or not sure what I am looking for, but I don't see it...
However, I appreciate the help!
Edit: Wait, is the Tap UI's 3588 the rom number that I am using? Hmm...
Yes...your on 3588
Guys,
I'm giving a link to the Elijah Phantom U9 firmware (Allwiner A10, 9,7'). Code name is T05A, and crane_evb-eng 4.0.3. IML74K 20120322 test-keys
I'm posting this link, since this firmware is nowhere to be found on the internet. I got it from the producer of the tablet, since I bricked mine.

I'm not going to go in detail how to reflash your firmware, since there are many already on the internet. I used LiveSuit 1.07 for mine. The procedure is after telling LiveSuit what options you want & where is the firmware, on a switched off tablet to hold down what appears to be the Volume down key and then put the USB cable in. The reflashing process takes a minute or two.

Thanks for sharing, will try it tomorrow.
Also got a bricked tablet while I had the same signatures like T05A and someting with crane.
Googled it and my tablet looks exactly like: Elijah Phantom U9
No good custom roms around?
And is there a way to get CWM installed?
Anyone with knowledge about this?
Assistance?
My modelnumber is now: MID970
Android 4.0.3
Smalband version: 0.9
Kernel: 3.0.8+ [email protected]
Not as you described, did I do anything wrong? (It's older then the T05A with smalband 1.0 and a kernel with crane_evb-eng 4.0.3. IML74K 20120322 test-keys)
P.s. I also found Visture V3 (Exactly the same looking tablet.)
P.p.s. This software is from Eken A90.
Hi,
has anybody come across the BTC Flame? I got one of the spare ones from work this week and want to have a play around with some roms.
firstly, the device is already rooted i assume as it has a super user app loaded already,
second, which rom if any, could i load on to it? im a struggling to find a rom suitable? any help on this matter would be great.
I have flashed roms before, but not since the galaxy s2, so its been a while. i am not looking for anything spectacular just a minimalist rom that has stock roms removed, a upgrade to lollipop would be nice if its possible.
tablet info:
Model Number : BTC
Android Version : 4.4.2
Kernel Version :3.4.0+
build number: full_gs702c_userdebug 4.4.2 KOT49H eng.root.20150105. 112232 release-keys
any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There is absolutely nothing on that device on XDA. I'll move your post to here and maybe you'll get lucky, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help But i wouldn't hold me breath.
I am an Android NOOB but I want to try to upgrade an older tablet. The tablet is a Blueing running 4.1.1. There is no model number on it but Settings info gives the model as IT7008, build number JR003H. The tablet is not important to me and I'm not worried if I brick it, but if I could get a more modern OS on it with a custom ROM, I would like to try. The problem is I cannot find any Blueing custom ROM anywhere and the tablet will not do any updates. Can anyone tell me if I could use another ROM on this tablet, and what I should look for? Although I don't have much Android experience, I do know my way around other OS's and should be able to install the custom ROM firmware once I have the right one. Any help would be much appreciated.
I have this tablet...........model tm1318 android 4.4.4 build rk3188-eng4.4.4 ktu84q eng.cyf.20150227.143052 test-keys I am trying to get this tablet rooted and have a custom ROM installed. It is running KitKat 4.4.4 and I am having trouble staying connected with the Bluetooth. I keep getting a popup saying "Unfortunately Bluetooth Share has stopped". I understand that KitKat has a problem with Bluetooth so I would like to upgrade the tablet to Lollipop. Can anyone here help me out?
I need help too
I have the exactly the very same tablet and the same trouble with it.
I sure would appreciate getting the full rom, custom or otherwise, from some very kind person. Or if that is not possible, at least getting a working custom recovery image would be very helpful.
I looked and looked but so far I have not found anything on the internet.
Thanks!
