I am looking to buy a second hand SGSII. In trying to confirm the data bands for me the box seems to only list 900/1900/2100. The model shows GT-i9100. I need 850 for ATT in he states. I could not confirm on Google if this should be quad-band. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

The I9100 (at least the versions I've seen) support the 850 MHz band -- I've using an EU version on AT&T for 3 weeks.
Will confirm that. Got mine on release from handtec. Works on 850mhz here in AUS on telstra

Thanks guys. Not sure why the box is not clearly marked. Supposed to be from UK thecarphonewarehouse.

Hello galaxy s ii community!
I may soon be joining you all but first I have to resolve a small issue before purchasing my gsii. This is the model that I am interested in but am not sure if it will work with at&t's 3g/hspa+ bands.

Good question. The SA denotes South America and I don't see any of the bands listed. Usually the International version is listed as the GT-I9100 not the SA-I9100.
I use my GT-I9100 on AT&T just fine with the $10 Unlimited Data Plan.
Ah :/. Bummer.
I'll have to do a bit more research then.

Good afternoon xda members I was wonder if any of you have had this problem with with your Samsung GS3 Unlocked Int'l. I bought one off of Amazon and the phone works fine (popped in my sim can get phone calls and all that). The only problem is I can't get 3g/HSPA+ on the handset. The best that I've gotten is EDGE. I am with Cincinnati Bell Wireless and have already put in the appropriate apn settings into the phone. If there is anyone out there with this similar problem whether you are on Cincinnati Bell or any other GSM carrier feel free to shoot any suggestions.
try different modems

If you search there is a thread concerning U.S. users of the international, you should get advice there on how to set up best for various networks
You won't get 3g or 4g with GT-i9300 on Cincinnati bell or t-mobile

I purchased a galaxy s3 I9305 today. I have rooted it and installed supernexus. It all seems to be going well but now when I go into the network settings and choose LTE/WCDMA/GSM, as soon as I exit it reverts back to WCDMA preferred. I am in LTE reception. The only thing I can think of is my sim card. My sim card is almost 7 years old, I had to cut it down to fit the s3. I have read varying things regarding 4g sim cards. Could this be the reason?

You should be on the I9305 thread, not the international version one

Yeah, you have to get a contract with a provider which supports LTE...
!!!!THE CONTRACT MUST BE SUPPORT LTE TO GET LTE!!!!
Without this you cant get LTE....

Hi everyone. Recently I bought a Note 10.1. I'm experiencing slow connections on 3 network UK. In a place where I always have full h+ signal tablet keeps swithing between 3g and h+, it takes ages to open a website. I just wonder if it has something with a rom/radio as it seems the tablet comes from O2 UK network. Full factory reset was done. Any ideas guys?

Whats the code for unbranded UK flash? Can I flash it along with the radio?

Samfirmware lists generic UK firmware as N8000XXCMF1, it will, I think, not include radio, just PDA and CSC. You could always try that first to see.
If you really have note 10.1 maybe try the galaxy note forum here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1735
