Try updating drivers
Sent From My Sexy Xperia S
You mean throu windows update or pcc because i got pcc latest one since i did reinstall windows
Try this:
-Download and install Flashtool on your PC
-Go to the installation folder, default is C:\Flashtool\drivers and install: Flashtool-drivers.exe
then try connecting your phone again
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 x64 mostly from scratch on a new SSD, so my old Flashtool installation and drivers are no more. Now, the new Flashtool install recognizes my phone if I plug it in while it's already powered on, but if I attempt to flash a kernel it tells me I don't have the drivers. I tried running the .exe in Flashtool's "drivers" folder, but it didn't help.
My X10 is currently running Achojitan's SEMC Debrand Engine CM9 ROM w/ the included kernel, which is not the most stable I'm wanting to try out scritch007's CM10, but I can't do that if I can't get into flashmode. Any advice?
ETA: I've tried installing Sony PC Companion, too, but it doesn't recognize what phone I'm using with this ROM.
go to ur system folder using a root file explorer, open ur build.prop n change the values of
"ro.product.model", "ro.product.brand" and "ro.product.name" to:
"ro.product.model=X10i", "ro.product.brand=SEMC" and "ro.product.name=X10i", save and restart the phone.. u will need to load system in r/w mode to be able to edit and save build.prop
the drivers should now detect ur device as an x10i.. if u have an x10a then just change to x10a instead of x10i..
Sorry, I meant to follow up on this but I've been busy: I just ended up tracking down the old Gordons Gate driver package that used to come w/ Flashtool and it worked just fine. Link here.
I cant connect my xperia mini to PC in any mode. windows displays 'device not recognized' error. though all my drivers including fastboot and ADB are set up perrfectly. Phone shows green and blue LED when connected in flashmode and fastboot mode but still nor recognized by windows. Device manager shows Error code: 43
please help.
Download flashtool, go to the installation folder -> drivers and install all drivers for all devices/modes. If this won't work install PC Companion or Sony Update Service, they should install the drivers automatically
Will Work!

This method is VALID. Just install drivers from flash tool folder. It'll work!
I already mentioned I had all drivers.
Turns out it was a USB cable problem. got a new USB. fixed.

Go to the place where you installed flashtools then inside drivers folder find an app called "Gordon's gate " install and open. it'll automatically reset drivers.
Next time you can connect it normally in flash-mod (may be asked for drivers, you can install from "drivers " folder)
Have luck:beer::thumbup:

but after this fresh install i am unable to go to fastboot , somehow i installed flashmode drivers
i evn installed the drivers from fastboot-drivers.exe but no use when i start flashtool and try to enter fastboot mode i get an error message saying the device drivers are not installed , install these drivers from flashtool folder
what do i do ? evn in device manager when i update it doesnt find any software.. when windows try to install s1boot fastboot drivers it shows not installed
where m i wrong? please help me
I think i had that same problem too, and took me some time to find the right answer, it is probably windows that won't install unsigned drivers, so try reboot, and press F8, and allow installation of unsigned drivers, though i just wrote a CMD code at that page i visited, but i can't find it now lol.
Well try here http://www.techspot.com/community/t...signed-drivers-in-windows-vista-7-x64.127187/
pda net
try to install pda net app on ur pc
if this dont work than open device manager
and plug ur phne in fastboot mode
on device manager ut show s1 fastboot somthing like that just for 5 sec
hurry and double click on that
after that update driver
select browse my computer for driver software
after that select let me pick from a list of device
after that click on android device
