hi guys. can somebody please help me with my issue?
it happens like this, the phone just freezes for a moment and then it moves to the "S" boot screen. when the unlock screen appears and i try to unlock it,it freezes again and then boots. my solution is taking the battery out. yeah,it works for a while(usb and sd card are mounting and usual stuff loading)
,but the widgets arent loading...
and then again, 2 minutes after rebooting, the loop starts again!
here are some possible issues i read about:
A:sd card causing bootlooping,
B:application app2sd pro causing problems.
i really dont know anything about rooting,or kies,or odin (if im correct)
and i dont want to reset my phone.
running stock rom 4.0.3 (with TW) and 325 installed apps.
350mb free storage on phone,2.56 gb of memory on internal sd and external is 339mb. there are about 46 500 files on sd cards in total
please....
HELP!
From recovery menu, wipe your phone and try to open it.
NOTE: This will reset your phone to factory settings.
I guess any method we try to help you with will lose your 300+ apps :O
thanks anyways... my phone just rebooted again
maybe ill try rooting some day when im less scared
hi again. figured it out it was my 4.5 year old sd card that was unreadable...
but i moved it to my old desire and it worked fine.
now its time to hunt for a 16gb sd card
Wait, apps2sd? I used to use that with my Hero, why on earth are you using it now?
I suspect that is the majority of your problem.

why? does the app have some kind of bug?
Newer Android versions (2.2+) have option moving apps to card natively.
So what, apps like adobe flash dont move to sd without app2sd
IF YOU LIKE MY WORK, THANK ME BY THE BUTTON BELOW
Because apps like this aren't designed to sit in sdcard.

Hello friends,
I am facing issue with my galaxy s3, the mobile is never rooted and runs on samsung official 4.1.2 jellybean firmware
The problem with my mobile is some of the games and apps keeps restarting again and again not allowing me to play or use them
Examples like asphalt 7 , cut the rope.etc.....and my phone sometimes stuck and restart as well.
I have tried doing factory reset even then it didn't work, I have taken to samsung service centre but the problem still continues.
One more problem with my mobile is like I can't send the files using wifi direct but I can receive the files.
Any help regarding my issues will be appreciated.

That option would have unchecked itself after reboot... Was you turning that option on every time you turned on your phone?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
No it would still be checked even after reboot. ..that option will be unchecked if you do it manually or do a factory reset.

i fount in sys/class/switch, a folder with HDMI why is that there? if we have no hdmi?
(correct me if I'm wrong) you can get an adapter for micro usb to hdmi...or it might just be there from it being an android device... My old phone had face unlock 'hidden' apps but it didn't have a front facing camera.... Hope I helped...

Nan didnt help but thx any way.
Was just wondering why there is a map in system called hdmi. (Think its just a standert thing.)
Hi All, so I recently puchased a P769 online knowing the camera did not work. When I first received it, it had jelly bean on it, and wasn't rooted or anything.
When I tried to launch the camera app, it would just crash and say "App closed unexpectedly". Basically when I would go into app settings, I would see that the camera app size was 0.00B. This was true for many other apps including bluetooth.
I went ahead and flashed the T-Mobile P769 KDZ (V10G). Then I rooted it using the Lelus method and installed CWM (by Artas182x).
Next I flashed a CWM backup of V10D (found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2468880). I was hoping this may solve my problem.
Now after doing all the above, when I go into app settings, I can see under the camera app something like 1.3MB. This is also true for all the other apps that showed 0mb size before.
However, I still get the "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped" message.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me to possibly fix this problem?
Also, if this is a hardware issue, than is it in the actual camera module (which I can replace if needed) or is it on the system main board?
Thanks for your help!

I tried this but it did not work for me.
Did you try it without an SD card in it. I know from experience that a faulty sd card can cause havoc on the camera.

If performing a kdz flash & a hard rest doesn't solve, it has to be a hardware issue.

Do you think the problem lies on the main board? Or just the camera module?
Just an update, the camera module was the problem. I swapped on from a different phone and camera and camcorder work fine now.

tri different camera app in playstore
If your camera is not working then uninstall the current driver and try another app for camera and once off you phone and then try again.
