Hello guys,
I've been looking for a good camera mod that allows me to improve the quality of my pictures and i found cybershot but is not supported on cm10 so i would like to ask if someone uses a good mod on these roms.
Maybe this question is inside another thread, but i think is good to have it like this if more people are like me.

there is no camera mod for cyanogenmod based roms ... use the default one .. if you want hd recording & good camera use stock gb or ics based roms thats it no solution for now

I'm setup every roms from this forum and I think update mod from googlehome is the best for me, but I can't watch HQ from youtube. If someone have other experience please share. Sorry for my weak english. Thank you.

No one can tell you which is the best especially you tested them all so you should be the best guy to decide which is the best for you...keep an eye for some new ROMs I noticed showed up...I still havent decided which one is the best still palying with it heh its fun testing all of this ROMs didnt knew it would be that fun heheh good luck to u and me

Right now for everyday usage I have CleanROM installed, but I replaced the boot.img with the TJStyle's overclocked boot.img. I think lakehousetech's gingerbread alpha rom has too many issues at the moment to even be considered for daily use.
Well, you're lucky guy that you have a old HWver device.
I can only flash the EUviewpad(it's great, but I want more to flash...) rom to use for my ITE one...
I really wanted to thank everyone in xda because you guys are doing an awesome job. Seriously I don't ask questions I read as much as I can until I find the answer but in this specific case there is a wall in front of me and I cannot go any further. Today after two days struggling with my Xperia X10i finally I installed the MIUI V2 also I used the KeRnel FXP133.ftf. There are some things working there are some that are not, but my concern is with the camera because I've been reading for a while and most of the people say if I understood right that the camera is functional. I'm really new installing custom ROMs so I don't really know what else to try or to read because the main threat has 153 pages of information that i don't really understand also I notice that there is a post that says ICS Camera fix 8MP/6MP [v0.9] I did read but without any solutions for my phone. I can life without the camera feature but having my phone incomplete doesn't make any sense to me. Once again I truly appreciate everyone’s job in here, thank you for your prompt answer.

Generally most ICS ROMs on the X10, don't support Cameras because the drivers arent there. But you can always just fall back to a 100% Stable GB ROM

if you want ics rom, install fxp142 rom and apply scritch007's camera fix. it works flawlessly.

Wally, I know this isn't a "question" but it definitely doesn't belong in development. Moved it to questions so maybe someone could give you suggestions (like the post above) to have just like the stock player.

CM always has crap video which is why I never use it. If you are looking for something different from stock try the MIUI beta release, its very good and perfectly usable has a daily driver. As its based on sammy rather than CM everything works, i have even been able to install the note2 transformation pack to get the note 2 cam and gallery.

So, theres this camera here I want to flash but gallery fc's when ever I open Camera, thus making it un-usable, anybody have a solution or maybe a link to a better or similar flashable camera? Heres the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133327 , what I'm mainly looking for is macro focus, but the more features the better!

Last i checked and tested, any 4.2 Camera port is for AOSP ROMs only. I have not found one nor gotten it to work on anything other than AOSP ROMs. I may be wrong, just stating my experiences.

D'oh. Well I like to stay on Stock-Based roms because I like full functionality of the dock, but thats not too important I guess, but I'm using a 4.2 camera on Hydro 7.0 right now, and its working fine, would this be cause its specifically made for the TF300T?

I search a rom with the best Battery life. It should have a relatively current android version have , however, is not absolutely necessary. It must also have a good performance. Whether it's AOSP or Touchwiz , I do not care .
