I apologize in advance for my English - I am from Russia, use a translator
After installing CWM from this topic, I can not enter into the FLASHMODE.
I press the volume button at the down, connect the cable - there is a short vibration, on the 1 second green LED, then red again, vibration, and on around the circle.
Tried a different cable, computer, driver - the same thing. Flashtool does not see the phone. SUS does not see the phone. PCC does not see the phone (including the recovery mode does not work - the phone tries to switch back to the flashmod, but repeated the same thing.)
The phone itself works, but as you might imagine, I update it can only through the CMW, that does not suit me.
What will advise?
Thanks in advance.

Now I understand, this recovery doesn't work for the moment. You need to back up all your apps and data on your scard with the build in backup and restore (or titanium backup need root). Then plug your phone on your pc, open pc companion and start zone support then start update service. It'll say your device is already at the latest firmware and under you'll see that you have the option to repair. Click on repair, it'll restore your phone and wipe all data.

Check on "settings/Xperia connectivity/USB connectivity/USB connection mode/" if you are well on MTP mode and not MSC mode. If it is not that I can't say more. Cause MSC mode render your device invisible on any computer. Only can see date on the external SDcard.

-Plug phone to the Pc
-Press power button+volume up until reset
-Immediately press volume down
But he might know a way to fix your problem. Hope you can fix it.

Tried on four computers. Any PC does even see the phone.
Ok.
You say that whether fastest and flashmode does start correctly. The red led comes right after blue or green and then phone is dead again and in circles.
Have you tried to let the phone on the charger (wallplug NOT PC) over night. This problem sounds a bit like an too empty battery!

ie it worked fine before, and now needs 12-hour charge? Now took the phone from charging after a night - the same thing.
Related
Today my Xperia sola completely discharged while usage and automatically turned off.
I connected it to charger after an hour, red LED turned on but the screen didn't show up the charging state.
It has been three hours now, and it is not responding to anything.
No effect on pressing power button alone or in combination with volume (up or down) button.
Also, the red LED turns off after half an hour, while it is still connected to the charger.
I have connected and disconnected three times now, and it's the same story: red LED for half an hour, then nothing, absolutely nothing.
Please, help!!!
Have you fixed it? If yes, how? Got the same problem!!

To enter flash mode, press volume down while connection USB, the led should turn on green.
If it works you can ftray repair with PC Companion, or Sony Update Service.
It may install a different formware than you have (latest available at your region)
You can download flashtool, and install older firmware.

Well your phone might have some other issue then.
Because I have found Samsung charger solution to always work for me.
I had a Locked Bootloader and I was looking for a new Rom and the post didn't have any info about which version it was for so I tried it.
Installed no problem (I asume), then when I try to boot it up nothing will happen, if I boot without USB it will shake 1 second, red light and nothing on screen.
The cellphone won't react if I have USB connected to it :c.
What should I do?.

When the phone is off and you hold down vol- while you connect the USB cable the phone enters flash mode and the small upper led is red while the bottom big led bar goes green. At least for me with a XT25i locked bootloader Xperia U.
So I would say, yes your phone is able to connect in flash mode. Just flash a stock ROM and you should be fine.
Thanks for the fast answer I will try it now.

1) Download correct ftf from general section, general one for your device.
2) turn phone off with power button under the back cover till you get the 3 vibrations.
3) download flashtool and install all the drivers.
4) start flashtool and close PC companion ( if you have this open)
5) plug USB into phone
6) hold volume down and plug USB into pc, ( should get a green light on xperia sp on led for short time)
7) flashtool should identify device attached in flash mode.
8) select flash and use correct tft you downloaded earlier.
You may need to get files ready as phone can then load to Sony logo again after a few minutes. Got to flash it quick. May need to do it 2-3 times before you get the timing right, took me a few attempts. Hope this helps.

yes you go to flashmod, but then you will need to browse and locate the file on your pc (where ever you downloaded it to) where is says firmwars use the box to the right to move through your drive and find the ftf. You should get something like a drop down list. For myself downloads go into my user download folder.
So long as your phone is turning on that is a good sign.

When mine was stuck on the logo I had a short time between pluging in USB +volume down and it booting to Sony Logo probably about 1-2 minutes. In that time I had to get the flashtool started, it look me a couple of attempts to get the files selected quick enough and ready to flash. Only suggestion is keep trying or move the ftf to flashtool firmwares folder so you can access ftf quicker and not have to worry about finding them.

when flashing an ftf file, your phone must be completely turned off, when the flashtool says "connect your device" what you're going to do is hold the VOL DOWN button while connecting your micro-usb to your phone, when you connect the usb to your phone, the green LED light must light and then when the light comes out, that's the only time you'll release the VOL DOWN button.
Glad it worked for you.

Do exactly as follows, and your device will be fine..
first, keep the phone for charging.. that time u will either get a charging notification or a green led will be lit up, when u see either of these two, disconnect the device and it will stay off. Now move to the next step
Visit this link:
http://www.sonymobile.com/us/tools/pc-companion/
Click on Download PC Companion
Run the software and install it
Turn the phone off and disconnect it from the computer
1. No matter what the program says do not connect the phone until you complete step 9
2. In the welcome screen you will see the different modules available for you including the "Support Zone" option. Click on "Start" below it.
3. On the next page Click on "Start" under "Phone Software Update"
At this point if you get an error stating that "Unable to install update components" or "Server is busy" , then please proceed to step 12
4. The program will say that there is no phone connected. Click on the option below that reads: "Repair my phone" the program will issue you a warning about the content that you will lose during the update
5. Choose the option to continue.
6. The program will issue a final message warning you of possible data lost during the update. Click on the checkmark and then on "Next".
7. After that, the program will download the necessary information (5 to 6 minutes) and it will present you with a list of phones.
8. Choose your phones model from the list then click on "Next" then you will see a new section telling you how to connect the phone. (don't connect it yet)
At this point the phone must be off and disconnected from the PC.
9. Connect the cable to the PC not to the phone, then while pressing and holding the indicated button (in the steps on screen an specific button will be shown for you to press on the phone) connect the cable to the phone and keep holding the indicated button until the program says "the update of your phone has started..." (in some cases a message of "Installing drivers" will appear before the message of "the update of your phone has started..." is shown.)
Please do let me know if this has worked

You had fastboot/flash mode working before and now they don't?
Do you feel the 3 vibrations?
Is it charging when pluged to cahrger when off, or even with sony logo?

I don't understand?! I can't go in flashboot mode, how can I flash with stock firmware ? and does stock firmware means the factory one?
if the led is turning green it means you can. but if you dont immeadiately flash stock firmware. it will boot. so you need to prepare stock ftf firmware for your device, choose it, wait for flashtool to tell you to connect your phone in flashmode. then connect your phone in flashmode

Yes it's a problem, but I've seen a few that have managed to fix it by disconnecting the battery.

You dont need disconnect anything. Your phone is not bricked, its working. The only problem is your drivers, you have to manage install them and it will work. This has been here thousand times.
